PlumBite® Push On Fittings
- For a proper watertight fit, use a deburring tool to remove burrs. Use a sand cloth to obtain a smooth edge to pass by rubber seal of fitting without damage. Tube must be round and free of scratches and imperfections.
- Mark the outside of the pipe at the below Install Depth to help ensure proper installation.
- Remove and discard the included inner plastic stiffener when using the fitting with Copper and CPVC installations. The stiffener is only required when installing PEX and PE-RT tubing. Use disconnect tool (sold separately) to remove stiffener same as if you are removing pipe/tubing (described below).

Jones Stephens’ Plumbite® Push On Fittings can be utilized in underground applications if the installation complies with all applicable national and local plumbing code requirements and where environmental conditions allow. The fittings should not be placed in direct contact with corrosive soil. Where sheathing is used to prevent direct contact, the sheathing should be made of plastic no less than 0.008 inch (8 mil) (0.203 mm) in thickness. Due care should be taken to protect the fittings and piping from adverse soil conditions, debris, rocks or other objects that could cause corrosion or damage to the fittings.
