Setup Instructions:

  1. Login or create an account on the provided website.
  2. Tap to set up your scale following the on-screen
    instructions.

Battery Replacement:

  1. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the battery
    door.

  2. Take out all old batteries and replace them with new AAA
    alkaline batteries.

  3. Ensure the correct alignment of the (+) and (-) symbols as
    indicated in the battery compartment.

  4. Securely replace the battery door and tighten the screw.

Replace batteries:

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the battery door. Remove all batteries and replace with new batteries.

Place 4 AAA alkaline batteries inside compartment as shown. Match the (+) and (-) symbols according to the

diagram in the battery compartment. Replace door and secure with the screw.

Assemble Baby Tray
Turn tray halves over and rest on flat / even surface. Orient the brackets as shown. Slide mount brackets into slots on tray until they click in place.
Locate the opening at each side of the scale. Align the tongue of each mounting brackets with the openings at the sides of the scale. Push tray together until it clicks.
To remove brackets, from tray: Insert screwdriver and apply gentle pressure to both sides where bracket is attached, then slide out.

Setup
1. Download the Connected Family App. Ensure that your smartphone is connected to your home’s Wi-Fi network. 2. Install batteries (see Page 5) 3. In the app, tap , and select Safety 1st, then tap “Smart Family Scale” to begin pairing your device. 4. Follow step-by-step instructions to complete pairing. 5. Once successfully paired, the W-Fi icon will turn on and show signal strength. 6. Tap in the Connected Family App to learn more, including how to videos.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
This device requires a 2.4 GHz wireless connection with network speeds of 2 Mbps or greater at the location the device will be installed. Your internet service provider can verify the quality of your internet connection. If your network equipment supports both 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands, we recommend that the bands are separated so each have their own Network Name (SSID) and Password (Network Key). Refer to your internet service provider or equipment provider for assistance with this.
Change Unit of Measurement
Note: Factory default is set to pounds. The three available selections include kilograms, ounces and pounds. 1. Press the On button. 2. Press X repeatedly until unit of measure desired appears on the display. 3. Wait a moment until your selection blinks. Your selected unit of measurment is ready.
Reset
Press and hold the reset button until you see the display reset. Weight mode will be reset to pounds.

Use Baby Weighing Mode
Tip: When weighing baby, position the display nearest to you. 1. Ensure tray is installed and engaged. Scale must be on flat surface. Place cork mat on tray before turning on. 2. Press the On button. 3. Place baby on the tray and wait until baby stops moving. TIP: Weighing baby while they sleep. 4. Once weight is recieved, measurement blinks and displays for X seconds.

Use Regular Weighing Mode

1. Press the On button.

2. Press the

Note: Do not stand on the scale with shoes on; wear socks or bare feet.

Disassemble Baby Tray
When pulling tray halves, pull straight out and then slightly downward. Set tray aside for later use.

To Clean
Do not submerge the scale in water. Wipe all parts with damp cloth and dry. Do not wash cork mat in washing machine.
