WARNING:
- DO NOT use this product to guard against toxic and dangerous substances, or sharp-edged or pointed objects. Such materials should always be placed “high up” or otherwise made completely inaccessible to children.
- ADULT INSTALLATION REQUIRED. KEEP SMALL PARTS AWAY FROM CHILDREN DURING INSTALLATION.
- Keep magnetic key out of reach of children.
- This product contains magnets. Swallowed magnets can stick together across intestines, causing serious infections and death. Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed.

- This product is only a deterrent. It is not a substitute for proper adult supervision. DO NOT use this product if damaged or broken. This product is not a toy. DO NOT allow children to play with it. When not in use, keep out of reach of children.
- FOR INDOOR HOME USE ONLY.
Important Safety Information
Check the security of your adhesive by tugging firmly on the door or drawer (wait 24 hours after installation). If the lock does not securely hold the door or drawer when tugged, use the sores provided to ensure that the lock and catch are secure.
Adhesive bond is only as strong s the surface it is adhered to; adhesive strength cannot be guaranteed on surfaces including but not limited to: oly surfaces, weakly bonded materials (such as particleboard or old paint) or refinished surfaces. For best product strength, install using included hardware.
Your child vil eventually be able to defeat this product. To keep this product effective for as long as possible, avoid letting children see how you operate child safety devices. Watching you disengage a lock, latch or cover could enable them to learn sooner how to defeat i,

Door/drawer geometry may prohibit use. « Power tools are not recommended for screw installation.
TOOLS NEEDED: Hand dfill or power drill, 7/64″ drill bit and Phillips head screwdriver (not provided).

Before you begin
To ensure the magnetic lock works on your door/drawer:

Push button to show SecureTech™ lock unlock/green icon.

Hold magnetic lock inside door/drawer

Place key on opposite side.

Ensure lock activates (top. button goes down).
Prepare drill bit:
NOTE: Some cabinets/drawers may require the use of screws (provided). See
important Safety Information for a list of surfaces that will be difficult to
adhere to.
To Begin Installation, go to page 3.
TO USE
To lock cabinet/drawer: Ensure the lock is set to the green lock icon, then close the cabinet/drawer. Test to be sure it is locked.
To unlock: Place the key at the front of the cabinet/door where the lock is installed (Figure 1). If it doesn’t unlock, try moving the key, as you may not be holding the key at the correct location.
To disable the lock: Set the lock to the red, unlock icon.
To Install in a cabinet:
NOTE: Do not separate the catch from the yellow template.

Using the pull tab, remove the red adhesive backing from the catch. Don’t remove paper from the yellow template yet.

Open the cabinet and hold the catch with the adhesive facing upward as shown.

Place the catch roughly 1inch (2.5 cm) away from the corner of the frame (close to door handle). Align inside face of yellow template with cabinet frame (as seen in Figure 3).

Remove the white paper from the adhesive on the yellow template and firmly close the cabinet door.

Open the cabinet door. The yellow template will adhere to the door and separate from the catch.

Using the pull tab, remove the red adhesive backing from the lock.

With the lock set to the unlocked position, align the two tabs along the sides of the yellow template. Press firmly to secure the lock to the cabinet door.

Pull the yellow template off of the cabinet door.

Press BOTH the lock and catch to ensure that they adhered firmly. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours to reach full strength. Ensure the lock is set to the green lock icon.
NOTE: If your cabinet requires hardware install as outlined before, be sure to fasten the 4 screws.

Pre-drill screw holes for catch 3/8inch (0.9 cm) deep. We recommend using a 7/64 drill bit. Be careful not to drill through cabinet door.

Pre-drill screw holes for lock 3/8 inch (0.9 cm) deep. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to fasten two screws through the lock openings as shown.
