Important
For safety purpose, please observe the following safety precautions to avoid
injury or property damage. Failure to follow the safety warning may result in
an accident.
This device is only intended for use in households in enclosed spaces for:
– making milk foam and heating milk.
– melting of little chocolate pieces during heating of milk.
Uses for a different purpose or for a purpose which exceeds this description
are considered incompatible with the intended or designated use.
Warning!
Dangers can emanate from the device if it is used for an unintended use and/or
a different kind of use.
– Use the device exclusively for its intended use.
– Observe the procedural methods described in this User Manual.
Claims of all kinds due to damages resulting from unintended uses are
excluded. The User bears the sole risk.
Note!
– Examine the device for any visible external damages prior to using it. Never
put a damaged device into operation.
– If the connection lead is damaged, a new connection lead installed by an
authorized electrician is needed.
– This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
– Children shall not play with the appliance.
– Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
– Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
– Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation.
– Only qualified electricians, who have been trained by the manufacturer, may
carry out any repairs that needed.
Improperly performed repairs can cause considerable dangers for the user.
– Only customer service departments authorized by the manufacturer may carry
out repairs on the device during the guarantee period, as otherwise the
guarantee entitlements will be null and void in the event of any subsequent
damages.
– Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement
parts. Only such parts will guarantee that the safety requirements are
fulfilled.

Danger!
The heated milk in the milk frother and the jug can get very hot. Observe the
following safety instructions and be careful not to burn or scald yourself or
others:
– When the milk is heated, the jug gets very hot!
– Always check the temperature of the milk before drink.
– When you are heating the milk, keep the lid closed.
– The surface of heating element can be hot after use, be careful.
Mortal danger exists when coming into contact with live wires or
subassemblies! Observe the following safety notices to avoid dangers due to
electrical power:
– If the connection lead is damaged, a special connection lead installed by an
authorized electrician is needed.
– Packaging materials may not be used for playing. There is a danger of
suffocation.
– Do not operate this device if its power cable or plug is damaged, if it does
not work properly or if it is damaged or has been dropped. If the power cable
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service agency or a
similar qualified technician, to avoid any dangers.
– Do not open the housing on the device under any circumstances. There is a
danger of an electrical shock if live connections are touched and the
electrical or mechanical structure is altered. In addition, functional faults
on the device can also occur.
– Never immerse the device, cord or plug in water or other liquids and do not
place in the dishwasher.

The appliance has got three markings for the filling:

Operating Instructions
Note:
– Examine the shipment for its completeness and for any visible damages.
– Immediately notify the carrier and the supplier about any incomplete
shipment or damages as a result of inadequate packaging or due to
transportation.
PREPARATION

Unpack the Milk Frother, remove all the packaging materials.

Clean the appliance thoroughly before the first use. (See chapter Care and maintenance)

Setup the appliance in a right location:
• The device must be set up on a firm, flat, horizontal surface with sufficient load-bearing capacity.
• Choose the setup location in such a way that children cannot reach the device.
• The device is not intended to be installed in a wall or a built-in cupboard.
• Do not set up the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or near flammable material.
• The electrical socket must be easily accessible so that the power lead can be disconnected easily, in the case of an emergency.
• The installation and assembly of this device in non-stationary setup locations (e.g. on ships) must be carried out by specialist companies / electricians, provided they guarantee the prerequisites for the safe use of this device. -
Electrical connection:
• Before connecting the device, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your electrical network. This data must agree in order that no damages occur in the device. If in doubt, ask your qualified electrician.
• The electrical outlet must be protected by a 16A safety cut-out switch.
• The connection between the device and the electrical network may employ a 3 meter long (max.) extension cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm². The use of multiple plugs or gangs is prohibited because of the danger of fire that is involved with this.
• Make sure that the power cable is undamaged and has not been installed under the device or over hot or sharp surfaces.
• The electrical safety of the device is only guaranteed if the device is connected to a properly installed protective conductor system. Operations using an electrical outlet without a protective conductor are prohibited. If in doubt, have the house installation checked over by a qualified electrician.
The manufacturer cannot be made responsible for damages that are caused by a missing or damaged protective conductor.
OPERATION
Note:
Do not leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation, so that you can
intervene quickly in the event of dangers.

COLD MILK FROTH (Room Temperature)
Maximum capacity for cold milk froth (Room Temperature): 150 ml
- Put the whisk into the whisk holder. Do not use the basket for melting.
- Fill milk and press the button and the button lights up in white.
- The appliance starts to make milk froth and stops automatically as soon as the process is finished. A signal tone will be heard and then you can remove and pour out the milk forth.
Note:
– Make sure the Milk Frother is filled to at least the MIN mark and not exceed
the MAX FROTH marking. Otherwise the milk will overflow.
– To stop the operation, just press the button again.
WARM MILK FROTH
Maximum capacity for warm milk froth: 150 ml
- Put the whisk into the whisk holder. Do not use the basket for melting.
- Fill milk and press the button and the button lights up in white.
- The appliance starts to make milk froth and stops automatically as soon as the process is finished. A signal tone will be heard and then you can remove and pour out the milk forth.
Note:
– Make sure the Milk Frother is filled to at least the MIN mark and not exceed
the MAX FROTH marking. Otherwise the milk will overflow.
– To stop the operation, just press the button again.
HOT MILK
Maximum capacity for hot milk: 250 ml
- Put the whisk into the whisk holder with the basket for melting.
- Fill milk and press the button twice and the button lights up in blue.
- The appliance starts to heat milk (67±5°C) and stops automatically as soon as the process is finished. A signal tone will be heard and then you can remove and pour out the milk.
Note:
– Make sure the Milk Frother is filled to at least the MIN mark and not exceed
the MAX MILK marking. Otherwise
the milk will overflow.
– To stop the operation, just press the button again.
INSTANT HOT BEVERAGES
Maximum capacity for hot beverages: 250 ml
- Put the whisk into the whisk holder with the basket for melting.
- Add maximal 0.15 g cocoa or 37.5 g chocolate in little pieces, or instant beverage powders with milk or water. Press the button and the button lights up in red.
- The appliance starts to heat and mix (77±5°C) and stops automatically as soon as the process is finished. A signal tone will be heard and then you can remove and pour out the hot beverages.
Note:
– Make sure the Milk Frother is filled to at least the MIN mark and not exceed
the MAX MILK marking. Otherwise the milk will overflow.
– To stop the operation, just press the button again.

Note:
– Ensure the lid is fully closed before switching on. Do not open the lid when
milk is heating, scalding may occur if the lid is lifted.
– Do not touch any moving parts whilst in use. Always switch off the appliance
and wait until the whisk has stopped rotating before you open the lid.
– Please pour out the milk and the milk froth.
Care & Maintenance
NOTE:
Please observe the safety instructions, before cleaning your device:
– Before cleaning switch off the unit and take the power plug out of the
outlet.
– Clean the unit with a soft cloth.
– Don’t clean the device with inflammable detergents.
– Clean the device again thoroughly when the machine hasn’t been used for a
long time.
– Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.

- Take off the lid with the whisk. You can remove the magnetic whisk from the side from its holder.
- Clean the lid and the whisk, the basket as well as the jug of the milk frother with diluted detergent, with warm water and a soft sponge or a cloth.
- Clean the lid and the whisk with lukewarm water, the jug can be washed in the dishwasher. The base is not suitable for dishwasher. Do not immerse base in water or other liquids.
Troubleshooting
If the following problems are encountered, follow the instructions below. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service and repair centre.

Note:
– Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by the manufacturer, by
an authorized repair centre or by other qualified technicians.
– Repairs performed by untrained persons may result in considerable hazards
