Warning notice

  1. Adjust the size of the headband so that it fits you perfectly. Always make sure that your headset is well-adjusted and maintained following the instructions in this guide. Do not wear an ill-fitted headset.
  2. This product is not a toy, keep it out of reach of children.
  3. Do not expose the headset to direct sunlight or to high temperatures.
  4. Do not insert any foreign body into your headset, as this could result in severe damage.
  5. This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Do not use detergents.
  6. To clean your headset, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild solution.
  7. Make sure to store your headset in a clean and dry location, before and after use.
  8. Wear your headset at all times in noisy environments.
  9. Inspect regularly your headset to check its condition. Do not use if damaged. Have it checked and repaired by a professional.
  10. The headset, and in particular the cushions, may deteriorate over time and should be examined regularly to check for cracking or leakage.
  11. Fitting hygiene covers on the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of the headset.
  12. In a woodland setting, beware of snagging your earmuffs on a branch or bramble.
  13. If your headset slides off, always make sure to reposition it to ensure effective protection.
  14. Overlooking the recommendations given in this guide will severely affect your headset’s protective properties.

Product presentation

The NUM’AXES CAS1047 headset attenuates loud noises that are potentially harmful to your hearing. It protects you against the risk of hearing damage/loss from repeated exposure to loud noises. It reduces harmful noises by 28 dB (SNR) on average.

The headband and cushions are the parts of the headset that are in contact with the user. They are made of ABS and PU materials. Please note: the headband force is not adjustable, and the cushions are not replaceable. In normal conditions of storage, use, cleaning, and regular maintenance, the expiration date of your headset is 5 years from the date of purchase. Make sure to have your earmuffs checked yearly by a professional.

Putting on the headset

The headband has two independent settings. Adjust the headband until the ear cups are properly positioned on your ears. For maximum efficiency, the headband must be perfectly adjusted and the ear pads must ensure a tight seal over your ears.

For any repairs, please provide:

If you fail to provide either of these items, NUM’AXES after-sales service will charge you for the repair. A flat-rate sum of €25 (incl. VAT) will be charged in the event of an unjustified product return.

Warranty

Warranty and conditions

NUM’AXES guarantees the product against all manufacturing defects for two years after purchase. All product return postage and packing expenses shall be borne exclusively by the purchaser.

  1. The warranty shall be effective only upon submission of an unaltered proof of purchase (invoice or sales receipt).
  2. This warranty does not cover the following:
    • direct or indirect transport risks linked to the return of the product to NUM’AXES
    • product damage resulting from negligence or fault on the part of the user
    • use contrary to instructions or for other than intended purpose repairs conducted by unapproved technicians
    • loss or theft.
  3. If the product is found to be faulty, NUM’AXES shall either repair or exchange it, as deemed fit by NUM’AXES.
  4. NUM’AXES shall not be held liable for any damage that may result from incorrect use or product failure.
  5. NUM’AXES reserves the right to modify the specifications of its products to make technical improvements or to comply with new regulations.
  6. The information contained in this guide is subject to amendment without prior notice.
  7. Photographs and illustrations are non-binding.

End-of-life collection and recycling of your device
