Product Usage Instructions

Switch On/Off:
To switch on the device, rotate the knob until the screen displays the desired temperature. To switch off, turn the knob until the screen displays “OF”.
Child Lock Function:
To activate child lock, long press the knob in the power-on state until the screen displays “LC”. Repeat the operation to unlock.
Temporary Mode:
In auto mode, manually change the temperature by adjusting the knob. The set temperature will remain until the next programmed time period.
Anti-Freezing Function:
In OFF state (display OF), activate the anti-freezing function through the mobile app. The valve opens when room temperature is below 5 degrees Celsius and closes at 8 degrees Celsius.

Controller Installation:

Press the button to remove the protective cover.
Install 2 x AA batteries according to the polarity indicated in the battery compartment.

Warning:
If NTC is damaged, “Er” will be displayed. Replace the battery when the low voltage warning symbol appears.

Installation Steps:
Place the batteries in the compartment and secure with the protective cover.

Overview

TRV06 Zigbee smart radiator thermostat is base on low power consumption tuya zigbee 3.0 module. It have been designed to replace traditional manual valve controller on radiator. Tuya cloud technology enable it with app control, voice control, 4 time period / day weekly programming, child lock, family share etc intelligent function. Attached with the TRV, we have offer valve installation accessories which make it compatible with over 90% of the radiator valve on market.

Operating instruction

Switch on and off

| Please turn the knob until the screen displays “OF” when you turn off the machine. You only need to turn the knob to adjust the required temperature when you start the machine.

Windowing function

| When the window is opened, causing the room temperature drop more than 6°C within 4 minutes, the main screen displays “OP” and close the valve. If the room temperature rises 3°C, this status can be released, and it can be release automatically after 48 minutes or

manually.

Anti-scale function

| If the heat sink is not fully opened within two weeks or sued for a long time, the valve will be blocked due to silting-up, and the heat sink will not be able to be used. To ensure the normal use of the heat sink, the controller will automatically open the valve fully every

two weeks. It will running 30 seconds per time, and the screen displays “Ad”, the returns to normal working state again.

Child lock function

In order to prevent the settings of the controller from being mistakenly modified by children, long press the knob to activate the child lock function in the power-on state, and the screen displays “LC”. If you need to unlock it, please repeat the activation operation.

Temporary mode

| When TRV in auto mode, if you want to manually change the temperature, turn the button to adjust the current temperature you want to set, this temperature will last till next programmed time period start.

Anti-freezing

| Under OFF state (display “OF”), the mobile APP shows that the anti- freezing function is on. When room temperature lower than 5 degrees Celsius, the valve open, when temperature rises to 8 degrees Celsius, the valve close.

In normal working status, if NTC is damaged and “Er” will be displayed.

When the battery voltage is too low, the alarm symbol ****will be displayed to remind the user to replace the battery.

Controller Installation

Electricity way

Press the button to remove the protective cover.
Install 2**AA battery and protection cover.

Attention

Please install the battery according to +- pole of the icon in the battery compartment.

Installation steps

Put the battery in the battery compartment and cover it with a protective cover.
Screen display.( CL)
When the push rod is drawn flush with the bottom. ¨
Place the controller on the valve of the M30*1.5mm threaded connection and tighten the copper ring. If your valve interface does not match the controller, install the accessory first.
Press the rotation button, the screen will display the controller starts to match the valve stroke, and the initial setting will be entered after the match.

Parts selection and installation.

Check the valve size on your valve body.
Accessories installation

Danfoss
1/2 valve (RA)
Please fix the valve interface directly and then tighten the screw.
Caleffi
1/2 valve
Please pace the fittings directly on the valve and press hard to make the fittings and the valve jam.
Giacomini
1/2 valve
Giacomini 1/2 needs to install the short ejector rod accessory to the bottom of the controller, please put the accessories directly on the valve and press hard to make the accessories and valve stunk, and then screw into ME167 driver.

TRV network paring:
Rotate the knob to adjust the temperature of the “OF” state, press and hold the knob for 5 seconds to enter the network configuration mode, WIFI icon start fast flashing, then connect it with zigbee gateway as the following instruction.

Gateway distribution network
Greenlight one and red light fast flashing, and it has entered the state of network distribution. (Refer to operating instructions of the gateway for the network configuration status of the gateway.)

APP Connection Instruction

Before configuring WIFI, please make sure your phone is connected to 2.4GHz WIFI.

Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code below to download the “Tuya Smart” app.
Open the “Tuya Smart” app and click “Add Device” as shown below.
After clicking “Gateway Control” select and click “Router (Gateway)” as shown in the figure below.
Click “Confirm the indicator is on” and then click “Next” as shown in the figure below.
After searching for the gateway, click “+ ” as shown in the figure below.
The mobile phone enters the device search the connection mode as shown in the figure below.
The mobile device is successfully connected to the gateway, click “Done” as shown in the figure below.
Click “Add sub-devices” as shown in the figure below.
Click “LED already blink” as shown in the figure below.
After searching for the device, click “DONE” as sown in the figure below.
Click the added device as shown in the figure below.
Enter the main interface as shown in the figure below.

Click as shown below.
Click “Share Device” as shown below.
Click “Add Sharing” as shown below.
After entering the account number, click “Done” as shown below.
