Operating Instructions

| Power ON

Operation| Press and hold power button for 2 seconds.
Description| Press and hold power button for 2 seconds to turn on the speakerphone.
Note| When the speakerphone is on the LED near the power button and the volume — and volume + will be white. The Bluetooth LED will flash red and green while in pairing mode and stay green once paired. The microphone LED will be green.

Operation| Press and hold for 2 seconds.
Description| Press and hold power button for 2 seconds to turn off the speakerphone.
Bluetooth pairing
Operation| The speakerphone will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on. You can also manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode by pressing and holding the Bluetooth LED for 2 seconds.
Description| The Bluetooth LED will flash red and green while in pairing mode along with the voice prompt “ready to pair”. The speakerphone will automatically reconnect to previously paired devices within range. If not previously paired, activate pairing in the Bluetooth menu of your device and select TARGUS AEM105.
When devices are disconnected manually or out of range the speakerphone it will automatically enter pairing mode along with the voice prompt “ready to pair”. If a new connection is not successful after 1 minute the speakerphone will go into standby mode. After 5 minutes in standby mode the speakerphone will automatically turn OFF if there is still no connection.
Note| The Bluetooth LED will flash red and green while in pairing mode and stay green once paired.
Wired connection and chargin
Operation| Connect the USB cable to your device or charger.
Description| Connect the USB cable to your device to enable the optional wired connection. Connecting the USB cable to a charger or device will also charge the speakerphone.
Operation| Receive call

Press the call LED.
Description| When a call is incoming, the call LED will pulse green. Press the call LED to receive the call and the call LED will turn green during the call.
Note| Not support APP network platform phone call.
| Reject call
Operation| Press and hold the call LED for 2 seconds.
Description| When a call is incoming the call LED will pulse green. Press and hold the call LED for 2 seconds to reject the call and the call LED will turn off.
Note| Not support APP network platform phone call.
| End call
Operation| Press the call LED.
Description| During a call the call LED will be green. Pressing the call LED will end the call and the call LED will turn off.
Note| Not support APP network platform phone call.
| Redial last number
Operation| Double-click the call LED.
Description| While connected via Bluetooth, double-click the call LED to redial the last number called. You will hear a voice prompt “Redialing” and the call LED will turn green.
Note| Only supported when connected via Bluetooth.
Activate Voice Assistant
Operation| Press and hold the call a LED.
Description| When connected via Bluetooth to a device that supports voice assistant, press and hold the call LED for 2 seconds to enable and begin speaking. Press and hold the call LED again for 2 seconds to deactivate the voice assistant.
Note| Not supported on all devices.
Mute

Operation| Press the Mic  LED.
Description| Press the Mic LED to mute. Mic LED will turn red while muted.
Un-mute
Operation| Press the Mic  LED.
Description| Press the Mic LED to un-mute. Mic LED will be red while muted and turn green when un-muted.
Volume
Operation| Press the – LED or the + LED.
Description| To increase the volume press the + LED and press the – LED to decrease the volume.
Pause and Play music
Operation| Press the power button.
Description| While using a music app, press the power button once to play or pause music.
Reset to factory settings
Operation| Press and hold Call LED and Volume + LED for 5 seconds when Bluetooth is disconnected and power is ON.
Description| To reset the speakerphone to original factory settings, press and hold the call LED and volume + LED for 5 seconds while Bluetooth is disconnected, and the speakerphone is powered on. The voice prompt “reset completed” will confirm success, the speakerphone will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, and you will hear the voice prompt “ready to pair”.
Power and battery status
Operation| Insert the USB-C cable into the USB-C port.
Description| When the battery is charged above 70% the LED near the power button will be white. When the battery is charged between 25% and 70% the LED near the power button will flash white once every 30 seconds. When the battery is charged less than 25% the LED near the power button will be red. When charging, the LED near the power button will be pulsing white.

  1. Targus warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year. This warranty is limited to defects, materials and workmanship.
  2. The benefits to the consumer given by the warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.
  3. The warranty is given by (i) Targus Australia, (ii) Targus Australia’s business address is: Suite 2, Level 8, 5 Rider Boulevard, Rhodes NSW 2138 Australia, (iii) Targus Australia’s telephone number is 1800 641 645, Email: infoaust@targus.com (iv) To make a warranty claim for goods purchased in New Zealand, the telephone number is: 0800 633 222, or the goods may be returned to the supplier in New Zealand.
  4. What the purchaser must do to entitle the purchaser to claim warranty:- (i) The purchaser must call the telephone number for Australia or New Zealand set out above, (ii) The purchaser must provide the purchaser’s name, daytime contact number, business hours delivery address, the Targus model number on the product, date and place of purchase with receipt for purchase if required, and describe the fault condition.
  5. What Targus must do:- (i) Targus will provide the purchaser with store return information or a return authorisation so that the purchaser may return the product for warranty inspection, (ii) If after inspection Targus finds the product is defective in materials or workmanship, Targus shall replace (or repair) the defective product at the discretion of Targus and ship the product from Targus warehouse at its expense within three business days (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays) of receiving the returned goods. If the product is no longer available Targus reserves the right to replace with the nearest corresponding product of no lesser quality, (iii) Targus will bear the cost of return delivery to the purchaser regardless of the inspection test result. The purchaser must bear the cost of the delivery to Targus. There is no charge for inspection.
  6. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
  7. Please note: (i) Features and specifications of all Targus products are subject to change without notification, (ii) In some instances: Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods, (iii) If goods accepted for repair retain user-generated data: During the process of repair some or all of your stored data may be lost. Please ensure that you have saved this data elsewhere prior to repair.
