Product usage
Use
-
Use the provided measuring cup to measure and pour the rice into the inner pot.
-
Use the measuring cup to add the rice and a proportional amount of water, according to the following table:
To reduce the risk of overflowing during cooking, we recommend that you rinse the rice well before pouring it into the bowl. -
Place the pot inside the cooker. Pour the rice and water into the inner pot. Securely close the lid.
-
Plug in the power cable. Only plug the unit in when you are ready to start cooking. If not, the rice may spoil. The unit will not start cooking if the pot is not inside the cooker.
-
Press the switch. The “Cooking” indicator will indicate that the cooking process has started.
-
When the rice is cooked, the switch will pop back up. Leave the lid on for at least 15 minutes to steam cook the rice.
-
Unplug the power cable after each use. Pull on the plug – and not the cable – to unplug the unit from the power supply.
-
When steam cooking, the water level should not exceed 70% of the volume.
-
Do not block the steam vent.
WARNING!
Before starting to cook the rice, clean the inner pot’s base and the
hotplate’s surface, then turn the inner pot left and right to ensure that it
is sitting correctly on the hotplate, located inside the cooker. Otherwise,
the cooker will not work and could also become damaged.

Cleaning and maintenance
- Remove the inner pot and lid, wash them in hot soapy water, and rinse them thoroughly. Then dry them with a soft cloth.
- Clean the cooker’s exterior with a clean damp cloth. Never clean any of the cooker’s components with an abrasive cleaner. Use a damp cloth or a sponge with a mild dish soap and water solution. Never immerse the cooker components in water. Only ever wash the inner pot and lid in water.
- Use steel wool to polish or remove any residue from the hotplate and thermal control plate. Then wipe them with a damp cloth. Let them dry completely before using them again. Ensure that the hotplate and thermal control plate are kept residue-free, otherwise the cooker will not work properly.
- Improper cleaning can lead to unpleasant odors.
- Any residue – such as vinegar or salt stains – can cause the cooker to corrode.
