RECONNECT TO BLUETOOTH

  • You only need to pair your Bluetooth8 device with the speaker once.
  • With your previously paired device’s Bluetooth® turned on and in range, power on the speaker.
  • The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last Bluetooth® device it was connected to.
  • If you have a previously paired device that does not auto-reconnect, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu on your device, turn on the Bluetooth® feature, and select “MERKURY BT135” from your list of paired Bluetooth® devices and select “Forget.” Repeat Pair & Connect steps stated above.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • No power
    • Recharge your ENCORE LED Speaker and Microphone using the included USB type C charging cable. Try using a different cable.
  • Music is not playing over Bluetooth®
    • Make sure your Bluetooth® device has A2 DP profile. Check if both devices are paired and connected over Bluetooth®. Restart the speaker to reconnect your Bluetooth(!) device
  • Bluetooth® device will not reconnect with the speaker
    • Navigate to your Bluetooth® settings menu on your Bluetooth® device, tap “MERKURY BT135′”‘ and select “Forget'”. Now follow the steps to pair your device again.

CHARGE

  • Plug the USB type C charging cable into the USB-C port on the back of the speaker and connect the other end of the cable into any compatible charger or USB AC wall adapter.
  • When charging, the small LED indicator will glow red. When fully charged, the LED indicator will turn off.
  • Charge speaker for 3 hours before first use.
  • Use the USB charging cable to plug into the charging port at the bottom of the microphone to charge.

TURN ON & OFF

  • Power on the speaker by pressing the power button located on the top of the speaker.
  • Speaker automatically starts in Bluetooth? pairing mode and will connect with previously connected Bluetooth® devices if in range.

PAIR & CONNECT

  • Make sure the speaker is turned off and your device’s Bluetooth® setting is enabled.
  • Turn the speaker on; press and hold the( ) button fror 2 seconds, the LED will flash.
  • On your Bluetooth® enabled device, navigate to the Bluetooth® settings menu, turn on the Bluetooth® feature, and search for new devices.
  • Wait a few seconds and select “MERKURY BT135” the speaker will emit a tone when successfully paired.

NOTE : If your device’s Bluatooth<!> version is below version 2.1, you may need to enter the password “0000.” AUX-IN: The speaker will switch to wired mode automatically once an AUX cable is inserted into the AUX-IN port.
NOTE : Insert a USB thumb drive or MicroSD card for direct music playback.

PLAY

  • Connect your device to the speaker via Bluetooth (see “Pair & Connect with a New Device”).
  • Open your favorite music app and press play.
  • Control the music, track and volume from your device, or control them from the onboard controls on the speaker.
  • Adjusting Volume : Adjust the volume using the volume control knob on the speaker or through your device.
  • Press the ( ) button to play/pause music.
  • Press and hold the( ) or( ) button to skip/return to the next/previous track.
  • All audio, including music, games, videos, and notifications will be played through the speaker

USING THE WIRELESS MICROPHONE

  • When the speaker is turned on, the wireless microphone is connected to the speaker by default after turning it on.
  • Turn on the wireless microphone by pressing and holding the power “ON/OFF” button on the wireless microphone to begin using the microphone. To adjust the volume/reverb effect on the microphone, simply press the + button on the microphone to increase the volume/reverb or press the – button to decrease the volume/reverb.
  • Press the microphone( ) button to rotate through the various special voice effects built into the microphone.
  • Press and hold the microphone ( button to reset the special voice effects feature of the microphone and return to normal voice mode.
  • Please note: When the blue light of the wireless microphone is flashing, it indicates that the microphone battery is running low and needs to be charged.

ON-BOARD CONTROLS

(TOP OF SPEAKER)

  • Press the( ) button once to increase the volume. Press and hold the button to return to the previous track.
  • Press the( ) button once to decrease the volume. Press and hold the- button to skip to the next track.
  • With the speaker is powered off, press & hold the power( ) button for 3 seconds to turn on the speaker.
  • Press and hold the ( ) button to switch between the various LED lighting effects on the volume knob.
  • Press the ( ) button to switch between clock mode and Bluetooth® mode.
  • Press the ( ) button twice quickly to have the LED display dance to the rhythm of the music.
  • In TF card and U disk mode , press and hold the ( ) button to eliminate the single loop/sequential play feature

(MICROPHONE)

  • Press and hold the button to switch to the power On / Off.
  • Press the button once to between volume control and reverb control.
  • Press the button once to increase the volume or reverb.
  • Press the button once to decrease the volume or reverb.
  • Press and hold the button to switch to the special voice effects feature.
  • Press the button once to toggle between the various special voice effects.
