the appliance for the first time. Save the instructions for future reference.
The appliance is designed for domestic use and may only be installed and
operated in accordance with this instruction manual.
- Only use the machine in the rated voltage range.
- If there is any problem when you use the device, please follow the instructions in the Troubleshooting section of this guide. If the problem persists or the device does not work normally, please turn off the power supply and contact service centre or a licensed technician. Do not attempt to disassemble and repair the device yourself.
- Do not use the machine with a defective power cord and plug.
- Make sure the power plug is fully inserted into socket.
- Periodically remove the dust accumulated on the power plug.
- Do not open the front cover of the machine during the working process.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid risk of electric shock.
- Place the machine on a smooth horizontal table and ensure it is free of wobble.
- Do not insert your hands into the unit to avoid hand injury.
- Please do not put stone, metal, or any hard objects into the machine in order to avoid damage to cutter and sieve.
- Please keep the machine out of reach of children.
- If the machine’s noise is greater than 80dB, please remove and clean the sieve and cutter with the brush provided.
Introduction
Rice is now commercially available as completely processed, refined white
rice. This rice is ready for direct consumption after washing. Its ease of use
in storage, daily cooking and standardized taste has resulted in regular
consumption. However, this refined, commercially available product contains
none of the nutritious fiber and bran available in brown rice. Moreover, the
corrupt practice of reselling old white rice as new rice after waxing and
chemical treatment is becoming more common.
The benefits of eating brown rice are widely recognized for the nutrition
contained in rice bran. Unfortunately, thanks to the wealth of natural oils in
rice bran, brown rice is subject to spoilage and has much shorter shelf life
than processed white rice. Brown rice also requires soaking and process.
Thanks to the German Pool Healthy Rice Bran Miller, you can have a personal,

Rice Bran
Modern scientific research shows that when raw rice grains are processed into
refined white rice, the husks and included rice bran (the most nutritious part
of the rice grain) will also be removed. Scientists have therefore urged
people to change their rice consumption habits and eat more rice with the bran
included.
The health benefits of bran are recognized worldwide. In recent years, rice
bran oil – a product refined from rice bran – has begun to see use as a health
supplement. Rice bran has seen an incredible variety of uses, from enriching
breads and breakfast cereals to a low-cost building material and even as an
exfoliating scrub in facial cleansers.
Key among the uses is consumption; bran contains various antioxidants with
beneficial effects on human health, and is particularly rich in dietary fiber.
Bran also contains many essential components for a healthy human body, such as
starch, protein, vitamins, and dietary minerals. Work rice bran into your diet

Operating Instructions
- Make sure the rated voltage is compatible with the Healthy Rice Bran Miller’s voltage range.
- Connect the unit to a power source. The unit will beep twice when it is properly connected to a power source. This indicates that the unit is ready for use.
- Open the front cover of the unit and ensure the metal plate is pulled forward to allow rice to fall onto the milling cutter.
- Remove the lid and add the rice to be processed (brown or red) to the top of the unit. Press POWER to begin the rice milling process. The default processing time is set at 7 minutes. Processed rice will fall out of the opening in the front of the unit.
- Press “-“ or “+” to adjust operating time in 1 minute increments. The time can be set or changed as required from 1 to 9 minutes.
- Change the purifying degree as required by rotating the knob on the front of the unit.
- The digital display will show the minutes remaining in the processing cycle. When this number reaches 0, the unit will turn off.
- If the chaff container is getting too full, press POWER to abort the milling process. Remove the chaff container and empty it of bran before inserting it back into the unit.
Note:
If the front cover of the unit is opened at any time during the milling
process, the unit will emit a beeping noise and then automatically shut down.
This is a safety feature.
Care & Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
To clean the unit, open the front cover. Push the metal plate above the cutter forward (to prevent rice from falling) as shown in the picture below. Gently depress the two clips shown in the picture below and pull out the sieve and cutter.
Clean the sieve with the provided brush and install the sieve and cutter back inside the housing of the unit. Reassemble the unit, reversing the above two steps.
Troubleshooting
If there is any problem when you use the device, please follow the instructions below to check. If the problem persists or the device does not work normally, please turn off the power supply and contact service center or a licensed technician. Do not attempt to disassemble and repair the device yourself.

Warranty Terms & Conditions
Under normal operations, the product will receive a 1-year full warranty provided by German Pool (effective starting from the date of purchase).

This warranty is not valid until Customer’s registration information is returned to and received by our Service Centre within 10 days of purchase via one of the following methods:
- Visit our website and register online: www.germanpool.com/warranty.
- Complete all fields on the attached Warranty Card and mail it back to our Customer Service Centre along with a photocopy of the purchase invoice (Warranty Card and invoice copy will not be returned to Customer).
1. Customer who fails to present original purchase invoice will be disqualified for free warranty.
2. Customer should always follow the operating instructions. This warranty does not apply to:
– labour costs for on-site installation, check-up, repair, replacement of parts and other transportation costs;
– damages caused by accidents of any kind (including transport and others);
– operating failures resulted from incorrect voltage, improper operations and unauthorized installations or repairs.
3. This warranty is invalid if:
– purchase invoice is modified by unauthorized party;
– product is used for any commercial or industrial applications;
– product is repaired or modified by unauthorized personnel, or unauthorized parts are installed;
– serial number is modified, damaged or removed from the product.
4. German Pool will, in its discretion, repair or replace any defective part.
5. This warranty will be void if there is any transfer of ownership from the original purchaser.
