Usage and Maintenance Instructions
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Revolving Swivel Seat with Fleece
Cushion from Aidapt. When used correctly it is designed to give many years of
reliable trouble-free service.
NB. This equipment must be installed by a competent person.
IMPORTANT!
The user weight limit for this product is 120 kg (19 stone).
NB. DO NOT exceed the weight limit stated doing so could put the user at risk.
BEFORE USE
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of other sharp
instruments as this may damage the surface of the product. Check the product
for any visible damage. If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not use
your product, but contact your supplier for support.
INTENDED USE
This portable, lightweight Revolving Swivel Seat from Aidapt provides smooth
and easy rotation in any direction.
USING YOUR REVOLVING SWIVEL SEAT
The Revolving Swivel Seat has been designed to assist the carer to transfer a
patient safely from a chair to bed, into and out of a car, etc., and helps
avoid back strain.
NB. Ensure that the surface the Swivel Seat is being used on is level and
solid.
For improved safety, we recommend using the Swivel Seat with assistance:
- Position the Swivel Seat in a suitable location for the transfer, as required
- Carefully move onto the Swivel Seat in a seated position, until your weight is distributed centrally on the Turntable
- Slowly twist in the direction needed, keeping your knees together
- Gradually lift up from the Swivel Seat

CLEANING
Clean your Swivel Seat using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a
soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners and/or abrasive cleaning pads may damage the
product beyond repair and should not be used.
Always ensure that you wipe dry the item after cleaning and leave to fully dry
in a warm, dry place, but not in direct contact with a heat source.
NB. Avoid machine washing as it will affect the fire retardancy of the cover.
REISSUE
If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check
all components for their safety.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your
supplier for service support.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns.
