General Introduction

The Saramonic Blink500 ProX is an incredibly lightweight, ultracompact and easy-to-use wireless microphone system for up to 2 people. The microphone delivers exceptional, broadcast-quality sound to smartphones, tablets, computers, DSLR, camcorders, recorders, and other audio/video recording devices. It features automatic paiing, low-latency and up to 100 metres of operating range. Blink500 ProX is ideal for instrument recording, live streaming, viogging, mobile journalism and more.
The Blink500 ProX TX clip-on transmitter has a great sounding built-in omnidirectional microphone and it is small and light enough to clip to shirts and clothing, or you can use it as a traditional belt pack transmitter with the included lavalier microphone. The Blink500 ProX RX also features a much- desired selectable Mono / Stereo output setting when using a second transmitter, giving you the ability record each mic to separate channels of camera’s and recorder’s stereo audio inputs.
The transmitter and receiver deliver a remarkable 10-hours of run time on a single charge. The supplied charging case allows you to charge the transmitter and receiver anywhere and can be recharged or powered via the USB-C DC 5V port.
No technical knowledge of audio is required to operate, with no. complicated menus or setting. The Blink500 ProX system operates on the 2.4GHz spectrum and automatically hops to free channels to avoid static noise and audio dropouts.

Connect the Blink500 ProX RX to a DLSR camera, mixer, or amplifier with the supplied output cable.

Connecta headphone to monitor the audio output.

Short press the button, then the power capacity indicator of the charging case lights up, showing the current remaining battery.
Note: Short press the detection button as case closed, and its power capacity indicator willlight on for 3 seconds then off
5. USB-C Charging Port (DC 5V)
Note: The transmitter/receiver will automatically turn on after opening the charging case and turn off after being placed in the case for 5 seconds or closing the case for 1 minute.

OLED Display Operation Guide

OLED Display Introduction (Transmitter)

Home Screen If no operation is performed within 20 seconds on menu screens, the display will automatically return to home screen.

  1. Channel Group Icon
    The channel A/B is disconnected.
      The channel! A/B is paired  successfully.
      Channel is unknown. (usually occurs when the transmitter restores default settings)

  2. RF Level Indicator
    Indicates the current signal level.
    Signal is strong (Paired successfully)
    Signal is weak (Paired successfully)
    No signal (Disconnected)

  3. TX’s Battery Level Indicator
    Displays the TX battery level.
    Please recharge the device immediately when the blank indicator starts flashing.

  4. Audio Input Level Meter
    Displays the audio input level.

  5. Mute Indicator of Mic
    Mute ON
    Mute OFF

  6. Mic Gain
    On home screen, press +/- button to adjust the volume of microphone. The setting is retained even after the power is turned off.

  7. TX’s Input Mode
    Displays the what input mode of the TX transmitter is currently set to, either MIC IN or LINE IN.

Menus Introduction Mic Gain: Adjust the microphone’s input gain level from 0 to 6. Default is “5”.
Input Mode: The input mode can be selected to Mic In or Line In. When the input mode is Mic In mode, the transmitter can be connected to the included lavalier microphone, or other microphones with a 3.5mm output. When the input mode is Line In mode, the receiver can be connected to line-level output devices. The system’s default is “Mic In”.
Set Mute Key : Enable or Disable mute key button function.
Default is “Enable”.
Set Backlight : Set backlight to Always On or On for 10, 30, or 60 seconds. Default is “On”.
Language Setting: English or (Chinese) are available.
Default is English.
Restore Default Setting
Yes: restores default settings
No: exits restore default settings
Pair Setting: Pair with the receiver.
For details of operation, please refer to “Operation Guide” (> P13).

Menus Introduction
Headphone Output Volume: The headphone monitoring volume can be set from 0 to 6.
Default is “5*. Output Mode: The output mode can be set to either mono or stereo. When in mono mode, the audio from the transmitter, or transmitters will be mixed to both the left and right sides.
When in stereo mode, the two transmitters’ audio output will be separated to the left andright sides. System default is mono.
Set Mute Key: Enable or Disable mute key button function.
Default is “Enable”.
Set Backlight: Set backlight to Always On or On for 10, 30, or 60 seconds. Default is “On”.
Language Setting: English orfité FA XZ (Chinese) are available.
Default is English.

Yes: restores default settings

Operation Guide

  1. Long press the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the transmitter and the receiver.

  2. Pairing
    Before leaving factory, the system is pre-paired. Therefore, the connection will be established once they are powered on. If they are disconnected, please follow below steps:

  3. Long press the SET button to enter menu screen.

  4. Use the + or -button to display the Pair setting menu on both transmitter and receiver.

  5. Long press the SET button to select the menu.

  6. Select “Yes”, and long press the SET button to confirm.

  7. Transmitter and receiver will be successfully paired within 10 seconds.

  8. Connect the receiver to the mic input of a camera, recorder or mixer with the supplied 3.5mm TRS cable; or connect it to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with the other adapter cables (sold separately).

  9. You are ready to record.

NOTE:

  1. If a certain transmitter of BlinkS00 ProX B2 failed to pair, please turn off the paired transmitter, and then re-pair the unpaired transmitter and receiver.
  2. Due to 2.4GHz wireless frequency, signal can be easily attenuated. Please try to avoid obstacles, such as walls and buildings, and avoid close proximity to devices with 2.4GHz signal, such as high-power Wi-Fi antennas, radios, etc.
