Product Information
The Colour Your Own Kite set includes spine rods, cross rods, a kite connector, a PE handle, 30m of flying line on the handles, and 4 fabric markers. The kite is intended for personal use only and should not be used near overhead power lines or during thunderstorms.
Product Usage Instructions
Building the Kite
- Unfold your kite and locate the 4 rods inside.
- Assemble the spine rods by placing them vertically in the middle of the kite and inserting the ends with caps into the pockets on the kite edges.
- Assemble the cross rods to the connector by inserting the ends with caps into the kite edges, bending the cross rods slightly to create a bow shape.
- Flip the kite over and attach the kite line to the loop on the front of the kite.
Tips for Use
- Wear discarded clothes or a painting smock when coloring the kite.
- Place a piece of cardboard under the product to protect your work surface.
- Use fabric markers to color the kite as desired. The product cannot be washed, only surface clean with a dry cloth.

Step of building the kite
- Unfold your awesome new kite! You’ll find 4 rods inside.
- Assemble Spine Rods (Spine rods are longer). Place them vertically in the middle of the kite and insert the ends with a cap to the pockets on the kite edges.
- Assemble Cross Rods to the connector. Inserting the ends with a cap to kite edges will require Cross Rods to bend a little to make a bow shape.
- Flip the kite over and attach the kite line to the loop on the front of the kite.
