OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Self-test Before Use

  • Plug the kettle into a 120V AC wall socket and the kettle will beep. All the indicator lights and LED displays will light up to indicate that it is connected.
  • If no operation is performed for 5 seconds, the display goes out and only the ON/OFF button light blinks slowly in standby mode.

Before Initial Use
It is recommended to fill the kettle with fresh, cool water up to the “MAX” indicator, boil, and empty the kettle at least 2 times to remove any fine particles. Do not drink the water during testing.

Note:
Use only water with no additives or ingredients.

How To Use Correctly

  • Open the lid.
  • Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water (not less than the “MIN” indicator and not more than the “MAX” indicator). Close the lid and place the kettle back on the power base.
  • The kettle starts to work when the ON/OFF button is pressed and the red light is illuminated. You can set the temperature of the water you want to heat.
  • When the water has reached the preset temperature, the kettle switches off automatically with a beep.

Caution:

  • Keep your hands away from the heated kettle while it is heating.
  • Heating temperature range 105℉~212℉.
  • This product does not have an automatic heat retention mode and must be opened manually.

About The Memory Function
In the keep warm/boil mode, pick up the kettle to pour water and then put it back to the power base, no need to reset the mode, the kettle will automatically continue to the last unfinished mode.

How To Apply Both Lids Correctly

  • Use the regular lid (without strainer) for heating, suitable for making flower tea and boiling water.
  • Use the lid with a strainer for steeping, the electric teapot turns into a tea maker:
    1. The pull rod lid and tea basket are threaded to keep the strainer connected to the lid, effectively preventing ingredients from spilling out.
    2. The pull rod and strainer are removable and can be gently unscrewed by following the directional tips on the strainer. After the water boils, pour the tea into the strainer and secure the strainer with the pull rod.
    3. When the tea has the right consistency, use the lever to move the basket up and down easily without slipping. You can switch to the normal lid seal according to your preference (take it out after draining the water from the strainer to avoid dirtying the countertop).

Caution:
It should be cleaned as soon as possible after use to prevent tea stains from sticking to the bottom of the inside of the kettle, making cleaning more difficult.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug The Product Before Cleaning

    • Never use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or caustic liquids (such as gasoline or acetone) to clean the product.
    • Never immerse the kettle in water or any other liquid.
  • Cleaning Electric Kettle

  • Deal With Limescale

    • Regular descaling will prolong the life of the kettle.
    • The frequency of the decalcification depends on the hardness of the water in your area and how often the appliance is used
    • If the kettle switches off before it boils or has a white deposit building up inside then it probably needs to be decalcified.
    • Do not use vinegar but a commercially available decalcification agent; carefully follow the quantities recommended in the instructions of the agent.

Caution

  • Place the kettle on a flat, dry, stable surface when not in daily use.
  • The kettle should not be placed or stored close to other sources of heat.
