- MT-ANT-JEEP-DS is for the driver side
- MT-ANT-JEEP-PS is for the passenger side
- These instructions show a Driver Side mount procedure, however the steps are the same on the passenger side.
Product Usage Instructions
Mounting to the Vehicle

Step 1: Locate the front mounting panel on the driver side of the vehicle. Remove only the front bolt from the vehicle using a screwdriver

Step 2: Assemble the MT-ANT-JEEP with the neoprene gasket set against the vehicle and the mount. Slide the bolt through the mount, gasket, and into the screw hole of the vehicle

Step 3: Screw in the bolt into the vehicle with MT-ANT-JEEP and hand tighten. Secure until tight or snug with a ratchet.
Installing the Antenna
- Step 4: Unscrew the washer and neoprene/plastic spacer from the end of NMO-MT-15 coaxial cable. Insert the screw of NMO-MT-15 from the bottom of the mount.
- Step 5: Place the plastic coaxial cable washer over the screw on top of the MT-ANT-JEEP. Add the coaxial cable nut on top and hand tighten.
- Step 6: Use a small adjustable crescent wrench to secure gently with only a quarter turn of the wrench. Be cautious not to overtighten.
- Step 7: Optionally secure and clean up cabling using reusable cable straps. Avoid plastic zip-ties to prevent damage.
- Step 8: Hand screw your choice of Rugged Radios antenna to the coaxial cable nut of NMO-MT-15. Hand tighten until snug.
- Step 9: Test performance in an outdoor, open area. Check system operation with radio system on with varying engine speeds. Ensure proper connections to avoid electrical noises.
