Rugged Radios AZ Wire Pro PTT Module For Steering Wheel Shortcut Button

Instructions

Reverse output – Purple / White stripe

This output is active when the vehicle is in reverse. Connect this lead to the reverse lights or reverse camera of the vehicle. Maximum output is 12V 10A

High / Low gear output- Blue / White Stripe

This output is active when the vehicle is in Low or High gear. Connect this output to your S&B Filter to activate the fan only when the vehicle is in gear. Maximum output is 12V 10A

PTT- White wire with MINI XLR Connector

Plug this into the Driver PTT input on PCI OR Rugged intercom. This will activate the PTT when the Polaris button on the steering wheel is activated.

IMPORTANT- The Polaris button is not assigned to any function from the factory. Do not assign this button to any actions within the ride command. You will be unable to de-select the assigned function.

OBD Plug-8-Pin connector

Connect this to the OBD port located below the steering wheel. This connection will link the controller to the vehicle CAN Network to allow gear outputs and PTT control.

3-pin power connector

Connect this plug to the buss bar on the back side of the firewall behind the top dash storage compartment. This supplies piper to the module as well as the gear outputs. You can access this by opening the storage lid and removing the lower tray. Remove the factory sealing plug and plug in the module.
