Product Using Instruction
How to switch the OEM system and the CarPlay system
After cable connection, by long press “MENU” , “C” or “ ” button from knob / iDrive / Touchpad, you can switch the system between the original OEM system and the CarPlay system.

CarPlay Decoder main interface
WiFi antenna and WiFi channel setting
Before use the CarPlay and Android Auto function, please make sure the WiFi
antenna has been connected.
Tip: The WiFi antenna cannot be placed close to metal objects. (The WiFi
signal will lose if WiFi antenna is close to the metal objects.)

Wifi Channel Setting: Click the “Setup” button from the CarPlay Decoder main interface, go into the WiFi setting and set the WiFi Channel according to the country.

Wired CarPlay connection
Connect your phone to the CarPlay decoder by USB cable.
for Android Auto Connection.
Before connect the Android Auto function, it requires your phone to install
the Android Auto software.
Before connect the Android Auto function, if your phone has connected the Air
Play /Car Play /Auto link, please set the Android Auto as the priority
application.
Step 1 Click the Android Auto function| Step 2 click the OK to turn off the
other application

Air Play Connection
Before connect the Airplay function, if your phone has connected the Android Auto /CarPlay /Autolink, please set the Airplay as the priority application.
Step 1 Click the Airplay function| Step 2 click the OK to turn off the other
application

Step 1: Turn on your mobile Phone “WiFi”, connect your phone to the
decoder box WiFi. The WiFi name of the decoder box is Car**, password is
88888888
Step 2: Click the AirPlay in your iPhone’s menu and start to use the
AirPlay function.
Wired Autolink Connection
Before connect the Autolink function, it requires your phone to install the
Autolink software.
Before connect the Autolink function, if your phone has connected the AirPlay
/CarPlay /Android Auto, please set the Autolink as the priority application.

Wired Autolink connection
Connect your phone to the CarPlay decoder by USB cable.
Voice Assistant Function
Voice assistant function can help you to control the most commonly used
functions by voice, instead of by the joystick control.
For example, if you want to back to car OEM system interface from the CarPlay
interface, you can say “hi,Yo, return to car”, don’t need to long press the
switching button.

Before to use the voice assistant function, you need to turn on this function. Enter the “Voice
Assistant” menu from the Setup menu , set the “Assistant Enable” and “Voice Enable” into “on” . -
The voice assistance consists of two parts: activation words + command words.
The activation word is “Hi Yo”, the command words are as Last song, Return to car, Enter Decoder, Open setup, etc.
Below are some examples to use the voice assistance function. -
If you want to back the decoder interface from the CarPlay interface, you can say “Hi Yo, enter decoder.

If you want to back to car OEM system interface from the CarPlay interface, you can say “Hi,Yo, return to car”.

If you want to open the CarPlay from the decoder main menu interface, you can say “Hi,Yo, open carplay”.
You can check the command words by enter into the Item List.|

Learn the command words. You can set the command words with your words.
Enter the “Voice Assistant” menu from the Setup menu , then click the “Learn List” and start to set the command words.|

Choose the corresponding command, say your command word into the mic, then
repeat it
again, the new command word will replace the old one if the screen show the
“successful”

- the software version (in the CarPlay decoder menu, enter into the “Setting”, choose the “System Version”, you will see the software version.)
