  • After installation, completely turn the handlebars from left to right and back again, several times. Make sure the handlebars move freely and without obstruction.

  • Make sure that all components of your motorcycle continue to function properly. Improper handlebar riser installation could lead to throttle, brake, or clutch malfunction and loss of motorcycle control, resulting in an accident, personal injury, or death.
  • Be sure that the nominal diameters of your handlebar risers and handlebars at the clamping point are the same.
  • Do not force the handlebars and risers together. The handlebars and risers should rest together easily and at the clamping point, without any play.
  • If you have any doubt whatsoever, please see your authorized RIZOMA dealer.
  • Failure to properly match the diameters of the handlebar risers and handlebars and clamps could cause the handlebars to fracture, resulting in loss of motorcycle control, an accident, personal injury, or death.

WARNINGS

AFTER INSTALLATION, COMPLETELY TURN THE HANDLEBAR FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AND BACK AGAIN, SEVERAL TIMES. MAKE SURE THE HANDLEBAR MOVES FREELY AND WITHOUT OBSTRUCTION. CHECK ALL THE THROTTLE, BRAKE, AND CLUTCH CABLES, HYDRAULIC LINES, AND ELECTRICAL WIRES TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT LIMITING THE MOVEMENT OF THE HANDLEBAR, AND THAT THEY ARE NOT BINDING OR BECOMING KINKED OR CAUGHT IN ANYTHING.
MAKE SURE THAT ALL COMPONENTS OF YOUR MOTORCYCLE CONTINUE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. IMPROPER HANDLEBAR RISER INSTALLATION COULD LEAD TO THROTTLE, BRAKE, OR CLUTCH MALFUNCTION AND LOSS OF MOTORCYCLE CONTROL, RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. BE SURE THAT THE NOMINAL DIAMETERS OF YOUR HANDLEBAR RISERS AND HANDLEBAR AT THE CLAMPING POINT ARE COMPATIBLE. DO NOT FORCE THE HANDLEBAR AND RISER TOGETHER. THE HANDLEBAR AND RISERS SHOULD REST TOGETHER EASILY AND AT THE CLAMPING POINT, WITHOUT ANY PLAY. IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT WHATSOEVER, PLEASE SEE YOUR AUTHORIZED RIZOMA DEALER. FAILURE TO PROPERLY MATCH THE DIAMETERS OF THE HANDLEBAR RISERS AND HANDLEBAR AND CLAMPS COULD CAUSE THE HANDLEBAR TO FRACTURE, RESULTING IN LOSS OF MOTORCYCLE CONTROL, AN ACCIDENT, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

INSTALL HANDLEBAR

Attention: ensure that the nominal diameter of your riser kit and handlebar at the locking point are compatible.

ALIGNING HANDLEBAR

Warning: the handlebar must be centered in the riser kit.

ADJUSTMENT HANDLEBAR

Check the throttle control, brake/clutch cables, hydraulic lines, and electrical wiring to ensure that they are not restricting the movement of the handlebars and that they are not constricted, kinked, or pinched.
  • Ensure that all components of your motorbike continue to function properly. In some installations, it is necessary to drill holes in the handlebars to install the throttle control and switch blocks.
  • Before drilling the handlebar, ensure the correct positioning of the various parts and the correct hole diameter.
