  • WARNING: this product is suitable for children who cannot sit unaided, cannot roll and are unable to raise themselves on their hands and knees. Maximum weight of child: 9 Kg.

  • WARNING: only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.

  • WARNING: Do not let other children play unattended near the carry cot.

  • WARNING: do not use if any part of the Culla Belvedere is broken, torn or missing.

  • Only replacement parts supplied or recommended by the manufacturer/ distributor shall be used.

  • Do not use the item near stairs or steps, near heat sources, open flames or dangerous objects that are within reach of the child.

  • Assembly and preparation of the product must be carried out by adults.

  • WARNING: Before lifting the pram body and when carrying by hand, the backrest and the footrest must be completely flat.

  • WARNING: before lifting the pram body to carry it, ensure the handle bar is fastened correctly in the vertical position.

  • WARNING: before use make sure that all of the attachment mechanisms are connected properly.

  • Do not insert fingers into the mechanisms.

  • Do not use accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer.

  • This product is designed for children from birth up to the weight of 9 kg.

  • WARNING: To avoid injury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.

  • WARNING: When lying, ensure that the baby’s head is not below the body.

  • Before use, inspect handles and the bottom of the carry cot for checking presence of signs of damage and wear.

  • Make sure the handle bar is in the correct position for use before lifting the Culla Belvedere.

  • Take into account the ambient temperature and the child’s clothing and ensure that the child is not too cold or too warm.
    The child’s safety could be at risk if these instructions are not followed.

  • Do not leave anything in the carry cot that could present a danger of suffocation (e.g. non-rigid toys, small parts, pillows, etc.).

  • Do not place Culla Belvedere near a window, patio door or where the child could reach cord of a blind or curtain, straps , etc.,   which could present risk of strangulation.

  • To prevent the formation of mould, we recommend airing the bassinet regularly. In particular, remove the internal fabric lining from the structure and wipe the base with a dry cloth.

  • During sleep, the internal backrest and footrest (if any) must be lowered completely.

  • For environmental reasons, no UV stabilisers are added to the mattress  foam.
    The mattress foam may turn yellow as a result. This does not affect the quality of the product or its performance.

  • Before unfastening and lifting the bassinet from the frame, adjust the backrest to its lowest position.

  • Do not add or use mattresses other than the original one supplied.

  • We recommend seeking advice from a healthcare professional for information regarding safe sleep.

  • WARNING: the storage pockets inside the pram body must always remain closed.

  • Be aware of the risk of hitting the baby when putting the carrycot on the floor, when going through doors, when being close to furniture or other rigid elements etc.

COMBINED WITH CHASSIS:

  • This item is compatible with the following Peg Perego products: Veloce, Vivace.

  • WARNING: make sure that all the attachment devices of the Culla Belvedere are correctly fixed before using.

  • WARNING: never leave the child unattended.
    COMBINED WITH STAND:

  • WARNING: This product is compatible
    with the following original Peg Perego products: Home Stand.

  • WARNING: Do not use if any part of the stand is broken, torn or missing.

  • WARNING: only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.

  • WARNING: Do not let other children play unattended near the carry cot and stand.

  • Home Stand is compatible with the following Peg Perego bassinets:  Culla Belvedere.

  • WARNING: Ensure the pram body attachments are aligned, in both sides, with the stand’s attachments.

  • WARNING FALL HAZARD – Before placing the child in the product always check that it’s properly latched to Home Stand by pulling upwards the product once the operation is performed.

  • HOME STAND: When the product is not used, it has to be stored in any case out of reach of children.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Using the pram

  1. HOOD: Lift the hood until it clicks into place. Button all the buttons on the lower profile, as shown in the figure.

  2. To lower the hood, press on the handle bar while lowering it.

  3. FOOT MUFF: Fit the foot muff and button it to the side.

  4. The magnets can be used to fasten the foot muff to the hood, granting the child even more protection. Just lift the foot muff flap as shown.

  5. The hood comes with a visor which can be opened for greater protection against the sun.
    The visor is stored inside the hood and is opened simply by pulling it outwards.

  6. GRAND PANORAMA VIEW: The pram body has two windows, which can be used together or separately for greater ventilation and to check on baby while asleep:
    Upper window .
    The hood panorama window is opened by pulling the protective fabric upwards.

  7. Lower window
    The zips below the hood open another window level with baby’s head (Fig.a).
    When both are opened, the two windows ensure greater ventilation and visibility (Fig.b).
    The pram body’s panorama windows can be opened and closed via zips. Culla Belvedere with both zips closed (Fig.c).
    IMPORTANT: When the pram is moving, we recommend closing the panorama window level with baby’s head.

  8. COMFORT SYSTEM
    Culla Belvedere features a Comfort System that can be regulated using the knob on the external base (foot end) of the pram body.
    Pull the knob outwards (Fig.a)
    If you wish to raise the backrest and footrest, turn the knob counterclockwise ; to lower the backrest and footrest, turn the knob clockwise .
    When finished, return the knob to its horizontal position.

  9. CARRY HANDLE: the handle bar is fitted with a carry handle.
    Before lifting the bassinet, ensure the built-in hood is correctly fastened.
    Before lifting the bassinet, make sure the hood is in the correct position for transport.
    _ Before unfastening and lifting the bassinet from the frame, adjust the backrest to its lowest position.

  10. To fasten the bassinet, position it on the frame and press down with both hands until it clicks into place.
    Always enable the brake on the frame before fastening and unfastening the bassinet.
    IMPORTANT: Ensure the bassinet is properly fastened.

  11. To unfasten the bassinet, lift the two side levers on the joints (Fig.1) and release it from the frame (Fig.2).

  12. Inside zipped pocket: handy compartment to store and keep useful items to hand.
    WARNING: the storage pockets inside the pram body must always remain closed.
    REMOVING THE HOOD:

  13. It is possible to remove the hood. Unbutton all the buttons on the lower profile, as shown in the figure.

  14. Press the button (Arrow 1) and raise the hood attachment (Arrow 2).
    Pull out the attachment (Arrow 3) and remove the hood (Arrow 4).

  15. Remove the two rigid supports.

  16. To remove the lining of the pram body:
    Remove the mattress (Fig.a).
    Inside the pram body, in the lower section (Fig.b), release the rigid textile strip by pulling it along the entire perimeter, as shown in the figure;

  17. In the upper section (Fig.c), release the rigid textile strip by pulling it first centrally (arrow 1) and then laterally (arrow 2), then lift the fabric (arrow 3).

  18. Open the zips on the upper edge of the pram body, first at the head end (Fig.d) and then at the foot end (Fig.e).

  19. Remove the net from the headrest (Fig.f ) and remove the pram body’s entire inner lining by pulling upwards (Fig.g).
    REPOSITIONING THE LINING:

  20. Reposition the lining in the pram body (Fig.a).
    Close the zips on the upper edge of the pram body, first at the head end (Fig.b) and then at the foot end (Fig.c).

  21. Inside the pram body, in the lower section, first position the fabric well under the headrest (Fig.d), then reposition the rigid textile strip along the entire perimeter, as shown in the figure (Fig.e);

  22. In the upper section (Fig.f ), reposition the rigid textile strip first laterally (arrow 1) and then centrally (arrow 2).

  23. If lowered, raise the backrest slightly to allow the net to sit snugly against the headrest and along the pram body (Fig.g).
    Reposition the mattress (Fig.h).

  24. WARNING: make sure the rigid supports are inserted correctly. Insert the tube bearing the carry handle into the hood’s front slot, ensuring the handle is centred correctly.

  25. Finally, slide the second metal support into the innermost hood slot.

  26. Fasten the hood to the appropriate supports and button all the buttons on the lower profile, as shown in the figure.
    Padding cleaning instructions
    Brush the fabric parts to remove dust.
    • When washing, closely follow the instructions stated on the label sewn into the cover.
    •  Do not use chlorine bleach.
    •  Do not iron.
    •  Do not dry clean.
    •  Do not remove stains with solvents and do not tumble dry.
    Product cleaning
    • This product requires regular maintenance.
    This product requires a small amount of maintenance.
    Cleaning and maintenance must only be carried out by adults.
    • Clean the plastic parts periodically with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or similar substances.
    • Brush the fabric parts to remove dust.
    • Protect the product from atmospheric agents: humidity, rain or snow. Extended exposure to sunshine can cause colour changes in many materials.
    • Store the product in a dry environment.
    • Remember to regularly ventilate the interior of the pram.

    Serial numbers

  27. Information about the production date of Culla Belvedere can be found internally and on the side of the body by pulling back the Culla Belvedere lining (Fig.a).
    Home stand reports information as at the date of manufacture of the product (Fig.b).
    Product name, production date and serial number.
    This information is essential if you require assistance.
