Setting Started – AC Power Operation:

  1. Connect the AC cable to the AC power adapter.
  2. Plug the two-prong connector of the cable into a wall outlet.
  3. Locate the 2-Pin Power Cable on the AC cable and plug it into the L120-B power port.
  4. Ensure that the protective cover has been removed from the front of the L120-B before it powers on.

Mounting – Light Stand:

  1. Rotate the L120-B’s light stand tension knob counterclockwise to loosen. Do not completely remove.
  2. Insert the light stand spigot into the L120-B’s 5/8-16 mm receiver.
  3. Tighten the tension knob to secure the COB to the light stand.

Product Usage Instructions:

Power the Dash Cam

  • Use one of the following options
    The included cable options vary depending on the dash cam model purchased.

To enable Parking Surveillance mode, the dash cam needs to be powered by either the OBD-ll Cable or Hardwiring Cable (professional installation recommended).

Download the App

  • Download the THINKWARE DASHCAM LINK App
    On your smartphone, open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download and install THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK.

Connect to the App
Follow the on-screen instructions

  1. Press the Wi-Fi button on the Dash Cam for at least 3 seconds.

Won’t Connect to the App?

Install the Front Camera

  • Live View in the app
    • Bo a line with the center
    • Green line with the front edge

Install the Rear View Camera

  • Open Live View Rear Camera in App
    • Red line with the trunk center
    • Yellow line with the center of the horizon
    • Green line with the trunk line

Attaching & Removing Modifiers:

Connecting a Modifier:

  1. Ensure that the protective cover has been removed from the front of the L120-B.
  2. Slide the modifier release toward the rear of the unit and turn the cover counterclockwise.
  3. Ensure the COB is turned OFF and has cooled for five minutes.
  4. Grasp the modifier and align the three square mounting blocks with the adapter openings located on the face of the COB.
  5. Insert the modifier and gently turn clockwise until it locks into place.

Removing a Modifier:

  1. Ensure the COB is turned OFF and has cooled for five minutes.
  2. Securely grasp the modifier.
  3. Slide the COB’s modifier release away from the modifier.
  4. Rotate the modifier counterclockwise until the three square mounting blocks align with the openings. Pull the modifier away from the COB to remove.
  5. Reinstall the protective cover to protect the COB during storage and transport.

Mounting an Umbrella:

  1. Ensure the COB is turned OFF and has cooled for five minutes.
  2. Locate the umbrella receptacle located on the filter bracket.
  3. Loosen the umbrella set screw and insert the umbrella shaft into the umbrella receptacle. Tighten the set screw to secure.

Use caution when removing modifiers to avoid damaging the COB. Never force entry or removal of modifiers.

  • Default settings out of the box
    The default settings are as follows, and you have the option to adjust them according to your preference.

Updating Firmware:
The L120-B COB allows firmware updates over-the-air (OTA) via the free Westcott StudioLink mobile app available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
