Operation Instruction

Please check whether your socket and power is suitable for this product before use
Do not exceed the maximum line of the mark (1700ml)
It is suggested to boil twice to clean the inner pot when first use
Do not touch the up part of glass body of the kettle when and after heating to avoid burns

  1. Place the kettle on a horizontal surface for use
  2. Open the lid and pour water into the kettle
  3. Connect with power, enter the setting interface, and press the button for boiling water (you can select the setting temperature you need under the setting interface).
  4. Take off the kettle for brewing

When using your kettle, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Read all instruction carefully and thoroughly, before any operation of the kettle.
  2. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  3. Before connecting the kettle, check whether the voltage indicated on the appliance(underside of kettle and base unit) corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and not use the kettle.
  4. Switch off and unplug from the outlet before filling, emptying or cleaning, or when not in use.
  5. Do not overfill as boiling water may be ejected, the maximum level indicator. Fill with cold water only.
  6. To avoid against fire, do not operated in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes. Such as do not operate or place any party of this appliance on or near gas and electric burner or in a heated oven.
  7. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or a counter. Do not let the cord touch hot surface.
  8. Never yank on the cord as this may damage the cord and eventually cause a risk of electric shock.
  9. If the cord or plug is damaged, or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any way, return the appliance completely to your nearest authorized service agent for examination, repair or adjustment.
  10. Avoid touching the surface of the hot kettle, use the handle and knobs.
  11. To avoid possible steam damage, not face the spout when operating the kettle.
  12. If operated on wood furniture, use a protective pad to prevent damage to delicate finishes.
  13. To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is correctly positioned before operation.
  14. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed while heating.
  15. Remove and replace the lid carefully when hot.
  16. Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle containing hot water. Never lift the kettle by its lid. Always use the body handle.
  17. Do not switch your kettle on if it is empty.
  18. To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this kettle, power base or cord set in any liquid.
  19. Use the kettle only with the supplied base unit. Do not use the base unit for other purposes.
  20. To protect against fire, do not operated in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  21. While the water boiling or in the short time after the water boils, please be sure that don’t attempt to open the cover for avoid the steam scalding your hand.
  22. Please avoid the liquid sprinkling in the LCD board and the pressed key place in the operating process. Because the water possibly can plunge in the product, causes the function to be unusual.
  23. Please do not have to add surpasses the maximum water volume the water, because this has the possibility to damage the product, causes the product movement to appear exceptionally.
  24. Please regular clean descale or pot bottom residuum, because this possibly can affect the normal use of the product.
  25. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  26. This appliance should not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have are supervised by the person who is responsiblefor their safety.

Instruction for use

Before use preparatory work:

  1. Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to maximum capacity and boil. Discard the water and repeat the process.
  2. The kettle should always be unplugged when filling or adding water.
  3. Fill the kettle with water to desired level. Do not overfill or there will be a risk of spillage or spitting. The water level indicator will assist you to measure the correct amount. You can fill the kettle via the spout or after opening the lid. Do not forget to close the lid after filling, otherwise the kettle will not automatically switch off after use.
  4. Do not fill with more than 1.7 liters of water (to “max” indication) •
  5. An automatic safety cut-out has been fitted for protection against overheating, it will operate if the kettle is switched on when containing insufficient water. Always ensure the water inside the kettle covers the minimum mark on the water level indicator gauge. If the automatic safety cut-out has operated, switch the kettle off, disconnect from the power outlet and allow the kettle to cool down for 5 to 10 minutes. The refill with and switch on, the kettle will work as normal.
  6. After boiling, the kettle switches off automatically.
    • Disconnect the kettle from the mains electricity supply.
    • Do not open the lid when pouring.
    • If the kettle is overfilled,boiling water may be ejected.
    • The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
  7. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
    • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
    • farm houses;
    • by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
    • bed and breakfast type environments.
Basic Operation
  1. Temperature Icon: Show the real-time and setting temperature.
  2. White: Under the setting interface, Press White shortly, enter the mode of white tea and relevant temperature 70°C.
  3. Green: Under setting interface, Press (Green) shortly, enter the mode of Green tea and relevant temperature 80C.
  4. Oolong: Under setting interface, Press  Oolong shortly, enter the mode of Oolong tea and relevant temperature 90°C.
  5. Boil button: Under Setting interface, press Boil shortly. and the buzzer sound “DI”, and the temperature show 100C , the three buttons Boil, Warm all light on.
    • The temperature icon show the current real time temperature and status. After boiled. The buzzer sounds” DI DI” . enter boiling
    • These two buttons Boil Warm lights off, and the temperature show will be off after 30 seconds.
    • The power button switch to breath light.
  6. Temperature Increase/Decrease button: Single press +,- setting from 40-100°C in every 5°C as level.
  7. Keep Warm Key: Under setting interface, press the Warm key once and the buzzer will sound “di” Warm light in twinkle status.
    • At the same time, after selecting the required setting temperature by pressing the increase/decrease button or directly selecting the white tea, green tea and oolong tea button on the setting interface, it will automatically enter the keep warm state. The keep warm time is 2 hours. When the water temperature is lower than the set value of about 5 degrees, the heat will be resumed until 2 hours. (On the setting interface, press the WARM button by mistake without performing any other operation, and the system returns to the setting interface in 3 seconds later.)
  8. Power button: in the power state, the power button indicator will light up. If there is no operation within 1 minute, the kettle will automatically enter the standby state, and the power button light will be changed into the breathing light (in the standby state, only press the power button is effective, other keys are invalid, and enter the setting state; To switch function, you need to press the power button again to switch to the setting interface; Under the setting interface, press it for 5 seconds and the kettle will enter the standby state)
  9. In the state of keep warm, after boiling water to the set temperature, the function of memory starts. Within ten times of kettle lifting, the water temperature of the kettle should not be less than 8 degrees below the set value for each time, and the memory is effective, that is, the keep warm continues to work and the time of keep warm continues to the last time. Otherwise exit the keep warm

How to care for your kettle

  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or powers.
  • Never immerse the kettle in water or other liquids.
  • From time to time, depended on the nature of your water supply, a boiled scale deposit is naturally formed and can be found mostly adhered to the heating element, thus reducing the heating efficiency.
  • The amount of boiled scale deposited (and subsequently the need to clean or rescale) largely depends on the water hardness in your area the frequency with which the kettle is used.
  • Boiled scale is not harmful to your health. But if poured into your beverage, it can give a powdery taste to your drink. Therefore, the kettle should be descaled periodically as indicated below.

Descaling

Under normal use, it is generally necessary to clean and descale at least twice a year, the specific method is as follows:

  1. Mix daily vinegar with water in a ratio of 1:2, fill the kettle (the highest water level) to start boiling water, and wait for the kettle to boil
  2. Leave the mixture for 12 hours.
  3. Pour off the mixture.
  4. Fill clean water to the highest water level and restart the boil function.
  5. Pour off the boiling water, The scale and mixture has been removed and the cleaning of the kettle is completed.
