Before commissioning this device please read the instruction manual carefully

Please keep these instructions, the guaranty certificate, the sales receipt, and, if possible, the ‘carton with the inner packaging!

Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device, or whenever a disturbance occurs, Switch off the device beforehand. Pull-on the plug, not on the cable.

Special Safety Instructions for this Machine
- Use only cold water when filling.
- The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks’
- Switch the machine off before removing it from the base.
- Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
- The base and exterior of the machine must not become wet
- The kettle body used must match the kettle base.
First Use of the Machine
Before using the machine for the first time water should be boiled in it twice without any.additives.
- Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill Use the water level indicator.
- Place the kettle flush on the base.
- Electrical connection
- Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base.
- Only connect the machine to a properly installed 220-240V 50/60Hz safety socket.
- Switch the machine to position “1”. The control lamp on the water level indicator shows that the water is being boiled.
- After boiling the machine switches off automatically.
Disconnect the machine from the mains electricity supply.
Do not press up the lid when pouring.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops. offices and other working environments;
– farmhouses;
– by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
Cleaning
Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine!
The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly
damp cloth without additives.
