Pairing A Device

Multipoint Connectivity

  1. Disconnect Creative Zen Air 2 from the first device. The earbuds will automatically initiate Bluetooth pairing upon disconnection.
  2. On the second device, select Creative Zen Air 2 from the list of discovered devices to pair.
  3. Upon successful pairing to the second device, reconnect the first device to the earbuds to complete Multipoint Pairing. Multipoint connection is established when the above steps are performed successfully and Bluetooth is turned on across both mobile devices.

Charging the Earbuds and Case

  1. Open the lid of the charging case.
  2. Place the earbuds in their respective magnetic charging slots.
  3. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the case to charge via cable.
  4. To charge wirelessly, place the case on a Qi-enabled wireless charging pad.

Pairing and Connectivity

  1. To pair with a device, open the charging case lid, and remove the earbuds.
  2. Initiate Bluetooth pairing on the device and select “Creative Zen Air 2” from the list of discovered devices.
  3. To enable Multipoint Connectivity, disconnect from the first device and pair with a second device following the same steps.

Powering On/Off and Call Mode

  1. To power on, press and hold each earbud for 2 seconds.
  2. To power off, return the earbuds to the charging case.
  3. To answer or decline calls, use the touch controls on the earbuds.

Master Reset

  1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
  2. Triple tap and hold each earbud until the LED indicator flashes red for a master reset.
  3. The earbuds will return to default settings and initiate Bluetooth pairing automatically.

Creative Zen Air 2 supports Qi-enabled wireless charging. To charge both the charging case and earbuds wirelessly, slot the earbuds into the case’s magnetic charging slots, then place the charging case on the wireless charging pad. Do note that the earbuds cannot be charged wirelessly without its charging case. Wireless charging pad not included

  1. Remove the earbuds from the charging case.
  2. Holding a single earbud, triple tap the earbud, then press and hold for 2 seconds until the earbud’s LED indicator flash red.CREATIVE-EF1190-Lightweight-True-Wireless-fig- \(8\)
  3. Repeat the same steps on the other earbud. Upon completion, the earbuds will return to its default state and automatically initiate Bluetooth pairing.

COMMON CONNECTIVITY ISSUES
This article highlights a phenomena and recommendation for music cutting out and earbuds that do not stay connected. When pairing a smart mobile device with the earbuds, the signal is strongest when there is a line-of-sight between the pairing devices. If the signal passes through the body, which is mostly made up of water fluid, it may get absorbed, which may result in pairing difficulty. If the mobile device is already connected to the earbuds, it may result in signal lost or the earbuds may get disconnected.
