Product Usage Instructions
Initial Setup
- Attach the rear protective grille (5) to the motor unit (7) using the protective grille nut (4). Tighten the nut (4) clockwise.
- Place the fan blade (3) onto the motor unit (7), ensuring that the two notches on the fan blade (3) align with the pins on the drive shaft (6) of the motor unit (7).
- Secure the fan blade (3) to the drive shaft (6) using the fan blade nut (2). Tighten the nut (2) counterclockwise.
- Insert the supplied screw (17) into the hole in the front grille frame (1) and rear protective grille (5), then secure it with the nut (16).
Remote Control Setup
- Locate the battery compartment in the middle of the remote control.
- Pull out the battery compartment.

Turning On/Off the Fan
To turn the fan on or off, press the power button on either the unit or the remote control.

- This fan may be used by children of 8 years or over or by persons with physical, sensory, or mental impairments or those with no knowledge or experience, provided they are supervised or they have been given instructions on the proper use of the fan and they understand the associated risks. DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
- Protect the product against moisture and humidity and drips or sprays of water. Never immerse in water or other liquids!
- If liquid does penetrate the device, disconnect the mains plug immediately. Get the product checked by an expert before using it again.
- Never operate the product with wet hands.
- Do not touch the product if it is in water or another liquid, instead, pull the plug from the power socket.
- Do not use the product if the power plug or the power cable (9) is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it has fallen into the water, been dropped, or if it shows any other signs of damage. In this case, please consult an expert to repair the product.
- Only connect the power cable to a properly installed, easily accessible mains socket whose mains voltage corresponds to that in the ”Technical specifications” chapter. The power socket must also be easily accessible after connecting.
- No action is required by the user to set the product to 50 or 60 Hz. The product automatically adjusts to 50 and 60 Hz.
- Make sure that the power cable (9) cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot spots.
- When using the product, make sure that the power cable (9) is not jammed or squashed in any way.
- Even when switched off, the product is not entirely disconnected from the main power. Pull the power plug to disconnect it completely. Always pull on the power plug, not the cable.
- Unplug the power plug from the power socket:
- if a problem occurs,
- if you are not using the product,
- for installation,
- before cleaning the product and
- if there is a thunderstorm.
- Never try to repair the product yourself. In the event of a problem, switch off the product, unplug the power plug, and contact our customer service.
- If the power cable (9) of this product is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service, or a similarly qualified person, to avoid any possible danger.
DANGER! Hazard from batteries
- Risk of death! Store batteries out of the reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately!
- Insert the battery with the correct polarity. Do not attempt to recharge the batteries and do not dispose of the batteries in a fire.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
- Batteries must never be opened, modified, or short-circuited, as this could result in chemicals leaking out which could cause injuries.
- If the battery fluid comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical aid.
- Remove the battery immediately if it leaks. Use suitable safety gloves to prevent injuries.
- Remove the battery when the product is not to be used for an extended period.
- Do not short-circuit any battery contacts.
- When it is empty, remove the battery from the device and dispose of it safely.

- Do not insert any finger or any objects into the product while it is switched on.
- Do not use the product near explosive or flammable materials.
- Never operate the device without the safety guards (1, 5).
- Keep all hair, clothing, and other objects clear of the safety guards (1, 5) at all times when it is in use.
- Do not move the product while it is in use.
- CAUTION! Damage to equipment!
- This product is not intended for operation with an external clock timer or a separate remote control system.
- Never put the product on a hot surface (e.g. a hob) or near heat sources or open fires.
- Only use original accessories.
- Do not hang or wall-mount this product.
- Only operate the product on an even and stable surface.
- Never use the product near flammable materials, such as curtains. Maintain a clearance of at least 50 cm around the product to flammable and combustible materials.
- Do not expose the product to any direct heat sources (e.g. heaters), direct sunlight, or strong artificial light. The product must not be exposed to spray or dripping water or abrasive liquids. Do not use the product near water.
- The product must be never immersed (do not place any containers containing liquids such as drinks, vases, etc. on the product). Make sure that the product is not subject to excessive shocks or vibrations.
- Do not introduce any foreign bodies into the device.

Before you start
Unpacking
- Remove the product from the packaging.
- Remove all packaging material.
- Check the packaging for any missing contents. Please contact Customer Service immediately if any items are missing.
Assembly

- Loosen the fixing nut (15) from the rod (13).
- Insert the rod (13) into the base (14).
- Screw the base (14) to the rod (13) with the fastening nut (15).

- Release the fixing ring (12) a little by turning it anticlockwise.
- Pull the inner rod (11) a little out of the outer rod (13).
- Tighten the fixing ring (12) by turning it clockwise.
- Place the control panel (8) including the motor unit (7) on the inner rod (11) as far as it will go and tighten the fixing screw (10).

- Unscrew the propeller nut (2) from the drive shaft (6) by turning it clockwise.
- Unscrew the safety guard nut (4) from the motor unit (7) by turning it anticlockwise.

- Place the rear safety guard (5) on the motor unit (7). To do this, place the 2 long narrow holes on the rear safety guard (5) on the pins on the motor unit (7).
- Make sure that the hole for the screw (17) is pointing downwards.

- Secure the rear safety guard (5) to the motor unit (7) using the safety guard nut (4).
- To do this, tighten the safety guard nut (4) by turning it clockwise.

- Then place the propeller (3) on the motor unit (7).
- Make sure that the two holes on the propeller (3) engage onto the pins on the drive shaft (6) of the motor unit (7).
- Secure the propeller (3) to the drive shaft (6) using the propeller nut (2).
- To do this, tighten the propeller nut (2) by turning it anticlockwise.

- Hang the front safety guard (1) onto the rear safety guard (5).
- Make sure that the hole in the frame of the front safety guard (1) is over the hole on the rear safety guard (5).

- Fit the screw (17) provided into the hole in the frame of the front (1) and rear safety guards (5) and tighten it using the nut (16).

- Close the catches on the front safety guard (1) so that they grip onto the frame of the rear safety guard (5).
Remote control inserting the battery
- You can operate the fan in the same way from the control panel (8) of the fan or using the remote control.
- The battery has already been fitted into the remote control. Remove the plastic strip sticking out of the battery compartment to activate the battery.
- If the battery in the remote control is empty, replace it with a new 3 Volt CR2025-type battery.
The procedure is as follows:
- Press the closure flap on the battery compartment of the remote control towards the middle of the remote control. Pull the battery holder out.
- Remove the empty battery and insert a new battery. Make sure the polarity is correct (+/-).
- Push the battery holder back into the remote control until the closure flap clicks into place.
Getting started
Setting up the fan and adjusting the height
- Place the fan on a level, even surface.
- Adjust it to the desired height. To do this, release the fixing ring (12) a little by turning it anticlockwise. Pull the inner rod (11) up out of the outer rod (13) or push it down into it.
- When the fan is at the height you want, tighten the fixing ring (12) a little by turning it clockwise.
- Insert the power plug into a properly installed power socket.
Switching the fan on and off
- Switch the fan on by pressing the (25) or (28) button. It beeps twice.
- Switch the fan off by pressing the button (25) when running at the highest fan speed.
- Switch the fan off by pressing the (28) button.
- The unit beeps every time a button is pressed.
Adjusting the fan speed
You can select one of three different speeds.
- Press the (25) or (32) button to toggle the fan speed in sequence.
- After the highest fan speed has been selected, pressing the button (25) again will switch the fan off.
- After the highest fan speed has been selected, pressing the (32) button again will switch the fan speed to the lowest level.
The 1/2/3 LEDs (26) display the fan speed set:
- low
- medium
- high
Oscillation
You can get the fan to make horizontal movements (oscillations):
- Press the (23) or (29) button to switch on oscillation. The LED (27) comes on.
- Press the (27) or (29) button to switch off the oscillation. The LED (27) goes out.
- You can adjust the vertical angle of the fan manually. To do this, move the motor unit (7) into the desired position.
Selecting the mode
- You can select one of three different modes.
- Press the (22) or (30) button to toggle the modes in sequence.
The following LEDs indicate the selected mode:
Timer function
- This function gives you the option of adjusting the run time of the fan in one-hour increments between 1 and 10 hours. After the set time has elapsed, the fan automatically switches to standby mode.
- Press the (24) or (31) button once to set the timer to one hour. The time increases by one hour every time you press the button.
The 1h/2h/3h/4h LEDs (18) display the time set:
- h = 1 hour
- h = 2 hours
- h = 3 hours
- h = 4 hours
- Add up the lit LEDs to get the time set. Example: If the 1h + 2h + 4h LEDs are lit, the timer is set to 7 hours.
- If the timer is set, the LEDs indicate the time remaining.
- The fan switches to standby mode once the time is up. To switch off the fan at any time, press the button (25) in the highest fan speed setting or press the button (28).
Maintenance cleaning
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
- Unplug the fan from the mains before cleaning it.
- Never immerse the fan in water for cleaning.
- Do not put water or detergent directly into the fan.
- Repairs are required if the fan has been damaged in any way, for example, if the device housing is damaged, when liquids or objects have penetrated the fan or when the product has been exposed to rain or moisture.
- Servicing is also necessary when the product does not perform normally or if it has been dropped. If smoke, unusual noises, or smells are noticed, disconnect the fan from the mains immediately.
- If this occurs, the fan should not be used before it has been inspected by authorized service personnel.
- All servicing work must be carried out by qualified specialist personnel. Never open the housing of the fan. Only use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning the fan and the remote control.
- Never use any corrosive liquids. For stubborn dirt, add a little detergent to the damp cloth.
- If necessary, you can clean the safety guards (1, 5) with a soft brush.
Storage when not in use
Store the fan in a dry, clean place out of direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
The fan does not work
- Check that the mains plug is correctly inserted into the mains socket.
The remote control doesn’t function
- The CR2025 coin cell is empty. Replace the CR2025 coin cell with another of the same type. Please note the instructions in the “Remote control / inserting the battery” section.
Environmental regulations and disposal information
- Devices marked with this symbol are subject to the European Directive 2012/19/EU. All electrical and electronic devices must be disposed of separately from household waste at official disposal centers.
- Avoid damage to the environment and risks to your health by disposing of the device properly. For further information about proper disposal, contact your local government, disposal bodies, or the shop where you bought the device.
- The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on conventional and rechargeable batteries indicates that they cannot be disposed of in normal domestic waste but must be disposed of separately.
- Where batteries contain toxic materials, the chemical symbol of the toxic material is shown underneath the symbol, with meanings as follows.
- Pb: Battery contains lead
- Cd: Battery contains cadmium
- Hg: Battery contains mercury
- You are obliged by law to return used batteries. Old batteries can contain toxic materials that can be damaging to health or the environment if not properly stored or disposed of.
- Batteries also contain important raw materials, such as iron, zinc, manganese, and nickel, which can be reused.
- After use, you can return the batteries to us or a local collection point (e.g. in retail outlets or a local collection point) free of charge.
- Please note that batteries must be disposed of fully discharged at appropriate collection points for old batteries. If disposing of batteries that are not fully discharged, take precautions to prevent short circuits.
- Dispose of all packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Cardboard packaging can be taken to paper recycling centers or public collection points for recycling.
- Any film or plastic contained in the packaging should be taken to your public collection points for disposal.
