Note: To power the device via the Due Fili bus only, place the dip switch
to ON.
VIDEO TERMINATION
To terminate the video signal set the dip switches as follows:
KEY FUNCTIONS
- F1= Cloud-gateway connection emergency procedure activation key
- Press and hold down F1 (for 10 s) to reset the network configuration in DHCP and re-establish connection with the Cloud.
- LED 1 is switched on when the gateway is working properly whereas it is switched off when the device is not working or the Cloud is enabled but not reachable.
- LED 1 flashes when the device is reset via the Installer App; the gateway is restarted at the end of the operation.
- During the emergency procedure, LED 1 flashes (at least 2 s) to indicate the start of the operation; once the operation is complete, LED 1 switches on or off depending on the status of the device.
- F2= New IP address request from DHCP server and gateway reset key
- Press F2 briefly to restart the DHCP client and request a new address from the DHCP server; in the case of static IP configuration, no action is carried out.
- LED 2 remains permanently lit when an IP address (static or dynamic) is assigned to the device whereas it remains switched off if no address is assigned; LED flashes when the DHCP server is not present or reachable.
- Press and hold down F2 (for 10 s) to reset to the default settings; all the LEDs on the device are switched off.
- F3= Firmware updating and gateway restart key
Manual firmware updating
Press and hold down F3 (10 s) until LED 3 starts to flash.
- Connect the PC to the device via a USB cable; an external disc is displayed on the PC (UPDATE).
- Copy the files supplied by the Customer Service Centre.
- After the files have been copied, remove the UPDATE drive from the computer safely (“safe removal” on Windows, “expel drive” on macOS).
- Press and hold down F3 again (10 s); LED 3 remains on to signal that the update is in progress.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the power supply from the gateway; the device is then automatically restarted. At the end of the procedure LED 3 switches off.
Restarting the gateway
- Press and hold down F3 (10 s) until LED 3 starts to flash.
- Press and hold down F3 again (10 s); LED 3 remains on for a few moments and then the complete gateway restart begins.

- Pressing CONF repeatedly does not restart the procedure.
INSTALLATION RULES
- Installation must be carried out by qualified persons in compliance with the current regulations regarding installing electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.
- The RJ45 network interface 10/100/1000 Mbps must only be connected to a SELV network (Safety Extra-Low voltage).
- WARNING: Update the firmware to the latest version! You can download it via the cloud (with the device connected to the Internet) or from www.vimar.com Download Software View Pro.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE.
EMC directive. Standards EN 60065, EN 61000-6-1, EN 61000-6-3. REACH (EU)
Regulation no. 1907/2006 – Art.33. The product may contain traces of lead.
WEEE – Information for users
If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this
means the product must not be included with other general waste at the end of
its working life. The user must take the worn product to a sorted waste
center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new one. Products for
disposal can be consigned free of charge (without any new purchase obligation)
to retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m2 if they measure less than 25
cm. An efficient sorted waste collection for the environmentally friendly
disposal of the used device, or its subsequent recycling, helps avoid the
potential negative effects on the environment and people’s health and
encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the construction materials.
