Inpopmake S70-WF WiFi Wireless Outdoor Solar Security Camera
Before Installation
- This solar camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi network, and does not support 5GHz WiFi and WiFi with enterprise-level authentication.
- You may require a WiFi Extender to enhance the WiFi signal if it is too weak around the installation location.
- Do not insert the SD card into the camera before the initial WiFi pairing connection. Otherwise, the WiFi connection might be failed.
- Please fully charge the camera with the provided charging cable before connecting to the solar panel and installing the camera. It usually takes up to 10-12 hours to fully charge it.
- When you’re ready to pair the camera, the distance between your phone and the camera is not more than 1.5 feet.
- The PIR range is about 40 feet. The recommended install height of the camera is about 8-20 feet. To avoid too many false alarms, please don’t install the camera in a location where the nearby bushes, shrubs, grasses, and tree leaves come into the PIR detection range.
- If you install the camera on a stucco, brick, or concrete surface. It is recommended to mark the holes on the wall with a pencil before drilling. Then use a drill driver to drill into the wall, insert the expansion screws to hold the camera tightly.

In-App Setup
Make sure the distance between your phone, router, and camera is no more than 1.5 feet. And make sure there are no signal interferes around.

Download the App (works only with iOS &Android devices)
- Method 1: search “UBox” in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play(Android).
- Method 2: scan the QR Code to directly download the “UBox” app.
Please use your phone camera or Google Chrome to scan the QR code.
ATTENTION: Other methods or Apps may put your privacy at risk.

Register an Account
- Open the App, click the “register” icon, and input your email address. The App will email you a verification code in a few minutes. You may log in to your email, get the code, and input it on the App for verification. Please set a password for your account.
- Please note that a verifying code email may be flagged as spam mail. Please check out the spam box.

Set Up the Installed Location
Input the installed location.
Click “Add a device”>input the location name>click “Next”> input the required information>click “Finish” to save it. -
Pairing the Camera with the App
Before you pair the camera, please make sure your phone is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi first. Please double-check the WiFi password before you start the pairing process. -
Power on the camera. Then you will hear the following message: “The camera is now ready to begin pairing”!

Open the App, click Add a device” or click the “+ at the upper right corner of the page. Select “Setup WiFi Device” and enter the”Discover devices”page. Click “Yes” after the blue indicator light is blinking or hearing the message of “The camera is now ready to begin pairing”

Input the correct WiFi password. If the connection fails, the wrong password may have been input. Click the eye icon to double-check the password you entered.

Click the “QR code configuration”! A QR code will be displayed on the App. Aim the QR code of the mobile phone directly at the camera lens. And keep a distance of 4 inches. You will hear the report
“Pairing Information Received” and see the blue light fast blinking. -
Choose the name of the device from the drop-down menu, or you can modify it to the name you want. Then select the area where the device is located. (You have to choose one. Otherwise, the camera cannot connect to the App.)

The device will enter the device list automatically. Setup success! Now you can have a live view of the camera on your phone anytime and anywhere.
Failed WiFi Connection
If you are unable to pair the camera, please check the following.
- After fully charging the camera, long press the “RESET’ button until hear the report of “System Reset’.
- Please put the camera and the phone next to your WiFi router (within 1.5 feet) to get a stronger WiFi signal.
- Make sure the WiFi name and password are correct and it is 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. You could forget your WiFi on your mobile phone and re-enter the password to check whether it is correct.
- Please make sure your WiFi router setting is DHCP enabled. Otherwise, your WiFi router will not send a WiFi signal to any wireless device for connecting.
- Please reboot the router, camera, and the APP, then try to reconnect again.
- If you tried all steps but still failed, please send your order ID and problem to aftersales@inpopmake.com.
Camera Installation
- Check Your WiFi Signal Strength
- Recommended Height to Install the Camera
- We suggest installing the camera at about 8ft in height.
- Please install the camera in a position where its view is not blocked and ensure that it is within the coverage of the WiFi network.The PIR infrared sensor is more sensitive to movements across the camera’s field of view than movements toward or away from the camera.
If your camera receives many unexpected motion alerts,
- Please adjust your camera’s angle a bit down to focus on the motion area.
- Please change your PIR sensitivity to “Low· to reduce its detection range.
- Please don’t install the camera in a location where nearby bushes, shrubs, grasses, and tree leaves may come into the PIR range.
Camera Installation
Method 1: All-in-one installation
- Aim the bracket to the base of the solar panel
- Clockwise rotate the bracket to lock the base
- Clockwise screw the solar panel bracket to the camera
- Drill four holes in the wall
- Drill camera bracket into the wall
- Plug the camera into the bracket and screw in
Method 2: Separate installation
- Screw out the bracket plate from the back of the solar panel
- Mount the solar panel base to wall
- Screw the bracket on the solar panel
- Rotate the bracket to the base
- Drill four holes in the wall
- Drill camera bracket into the wall
- Plug the camera to a bracket and screw in
- Use an extension cable to connect the camera and solar panel

Detailed App Instructions
Live view
Click the image, you can watch the live feed.
Active Time
- You can set the time length of recorded videos.
- If you select “Full-time record”, the battery will drain faster within a few hours.
Image Flip
You can change the orientation of your image, live view, or videos by
selecting Normal Rotate, Mirror, or Mirror and Rotate. The default is Normal.
Device Name
You can set the desired name for your camera.
Scene Mode
You can select Normal or Night Vision mode to get a higher quality image or
videos according to your actual environment.
Activity Detection
You can set the PIR sensitivity as Disabled, Low, Medium or High. When you set
the PIR sensitivity as Disabled, the camera will not record any motion-
triggered events and push notifications.
Share the Camera
- When your camera works properly, you can start to share your camera with your family or friends.
- Click on the share icon and then go to the share management page. Input the account that you want to share with.
- Choose permission from the Administrator, Family member, Visitor, or Customer.
You can customize the permissions and turn on or off each permission as you wish by clicking the blue icon “Permissions”!

- It’s for keeping a record of motions.
- The camera comes with free 30-day trial cloud storage.
- The motion-related videos will be auto-saved into cloud storage.

You can delete the videos of the REC mode and the screenshots on your phone’s album.
Insert and Format SD Card
Note:
Please do not insert the SD card into the camera before the initial WiFi
pairing connection. Otherwise, the WiFi connection might be failed.
- Please insert the SD card in the direction indicated on the SD card slot of the device, and slide it into the slot carefully until it clicks into place.
- After inserting the SD card, it would show the SD card capacity to prove that the SD card has been recognized.
- If there is no display, it is recommended to remove the SD card and insert it again, then click the logo “Format SD card” to format it.
- If you want to playback videos saved on an SD card, please enter the live screen, and click on the icon of TF Card/Cloud Storage to view the video.

Q1: What should I do if I’d like to change the location of the device?
A: If the WiFi name and password are the same, there is no need to reset However, if the WiFi name and password are different. it is necessary to long press the reset button for 3-5 seconds until hear “system reset’ in the configuration state. Then delete the current device in the app device list and reconnect. -
Q2: What should I do when the device malfunctions?
A: Please remove the rubber plug at the bottom of the camera. Press the reset button for 3-5 seconds to reset the camera. -
Q3: Why couldn’t I see the live streams on my phone?
A: Please check the App to confirm the WiFi signal is strong enough. If it’s not strong, please move the camera closer to the router or add a WiFi Extender. -
Q4: Why can’t I receive any plans after I have connected the camera to the App?
A:
1. Click in the App to confirm you turned on the push mode.
2. Open your phone settings to allow the notification.

Q5: What are the requirements for WiFi and phone?
A: Please use a 2AGHz wireless network. The device does not support the 5GHz wireless network. The device supports mobile operating systems with Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above. If your phone is below these systems please update it. -
Q6: The device prompts offline?
A:
1. Check if the equipment is in the power-on state, and observe whether the working light of the equipment is on normally.
2. Check if the WiFi network is in good condition, and reboot the router.
3. If the device is located far away from the router, which results in the inability to obtain a good WiFi signal, it is recommended to move the camera as close to the router as possible.
4. Delete the camera from your UBox account and add it again after resetting the device. Check whether the device firmware and app are the latest Version.

Q7: Where should I install the solar panel?
A: It is recommended that the solar panel be installed in an open place and the angle be adjusted to ensure that it absorbs the most solar energy when it is in full sunlight and is exposed to sunlight for more than 5 hours a day. -
Q8: How to connect the solar panel to my camera?
A: Please insert the interface of the solar panel charging cable into the charge port of the camera.
Note: Please do not remove the whole rubber cover, just open the small rubber cover, pass the interface through the cover, and then insert it into the charge port of the camera.
