IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
INTENDED USE This product is intended ONLY for indoor household or office use. It is NOT intended for industrial or commercial use. Do not use the product outdoors. When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, and hyperthermia, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- ALWAYS unplug the heater when not in use. (This item may be omitted if the heater is provided with a clock-operated switch).
- DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard the heater or return it to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- DO NOT use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. NEVER locate a heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- DO NOT run the cord under the carpeting. DO NOT cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. DO NOT route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area so that it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect the heater, turn the controls off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
- Connect to properly grounded outlets only. (This item may be omitted if the heater is not provided with a grounding-type attachment plug.)
- DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. NEVER use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater may include an audible (visual) alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessively hot. If the alarm sounds (flashes), immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may cause high temperatures. DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM SOUNDING (FLASHING).
- Any repairs to this appliance should be carried out by a qualified service person.
- Under no circumstances should this appliance be modified. Parts having to be removed for servicing must be replaced before operating this appliance again.
- DO NOT use this heater in elevated locations, such as on shelves, raised platforms, etc.
- This appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded per local codes, with the current CSA C22.0 Canadian Electrical codes ,or for USA installations, follow local codes and the National Electric Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70.
- Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater and seek medical attention.
- To avoid excessive room temperatures which can cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave the product running unattended in a confined space around infants, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

- ALWAYS Read all instructions before operating.
- ALWAYS Locate your electric heater away from furniture or loose hanging drapes.

- NEVER Place drapes, clothing, or towels over the electric heater to dry.
- NEVER Use in the presence of explosive or flammable vapors such as gas or paint.
- NEVER Plug another electrical appliance into the same circuit. Blown fuses, tripped circuits, and fire hazards may result.
- NEVER Use water or liquids to clean your electric heater.
- NEVER Let bare skin touch hot surfaces as this may cause burns.
- NEVER Leave the electric heater unattended.
- NEVER Leave an electric heater when children or pets are present.
- NEVER Locate an electric heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers.
- NEVER Operate an electric heater with a damaged cord, or plug or after the heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.

PRODUCT DIAGRAM
OVERHEATSAFETYFEATURE:
This heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device. If the
heater grill is obstructed, or if the heater gets too hot for any reason, the
automatic overheat device will turn the heater off. To reset the heater,
simply turn off the power and unplug the heater, remove any obstructions, and
check the cord and the plug for damage. Leave unplugged for 30 minutes until
it cools completely. Plug the unit back in and switch it on. If the heater
still does not turn on, please contact customer service.
TIP-OVER SAFETY FEATURE
This heater is equipped with a safety tip-over device. Once the heater is
tipped over, an external switch located on the bottom of the heater will
automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is restored to an upright
position, the heater will reset.
WARNING: This heater has a voltage rating of 120 volts. The cord has a plug shown in A. An adapter as shown in C is available for connecting three- blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE GROUNDED PLUG.
WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.
CONTROL PANEL
- ON/OFF button: Powers the display on and off.”
- Mode button: To select between High Low and Eco modes.
- Energy-saving mode indicator: Will be lit when energy-saving mode is engaged.
- Timer button: Used to engage timer mode and to set the hour value for the timer.
- Temp up button: To increase the desired temperature.
- Temp down button: To decrease the desired temperature.
- Digital display: Indicate set room temperature or time.
- Fahrenheit indicator light: Will be lit when the temperature displayed is in Fahrenheit.
- Signal to receive window: For receiving a remote control signal.
- Celsius indicator light: Will be lit when the temperature displayed is in Celsius.
- Low Mode indicator light: Will be lit when Low Heat mode is engaged.
- High Mode indicator light: Will be lit when High Heat mode is engaged.

Note: The Power-Off-Timer Function will allow for the heater to power OFF after a certain set time and can only be set while the heater’s display is in the “On” position. -

Setting electro lock
The Electro Lock can help prevent the heater from being accidentally engaged by children. The locking mechanism can be set in both the ON and OFF modes .
NOTE: Once the power is off, the heating element will stop working first. The fan will CONTINUE working for 3 min to cool the interior of the heater. This is normal.
MAINTENANCE
- Turn off the main power switch on the back of the heater.
- Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
- To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT let the liquid enter the heater.
- DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
- DO NOT immerse the heater in water.
- Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.
- The air filter needs cleaning after 3 months of use. Please take off the filter with the 2 steps in the drawing below. Flush and clean the filter with water, Then, dry it out and re-assemble.
CAUTION
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, or injury to
persons.
BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair advice:
- Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug it in.
- Check if the electricity to the main power switch (in the back) is working.
- Check to see if the battery on the remote is placed correctly, and undamaged.
- The Overheat protection function may have been triggered, a cut-off switch is fitted to the heating element to prevent damage due to overheating. If it cuts off due to an obstruction in the airflow or operating in abnormal ways, please contact a professional electrician to manually reset the temperature limiter.
NOTE: For the heater to function properly, the desired temperature on the heater must be set a few degrees higher than the temperature in the room. If the seems to not be heating, increase the desired temperature on the heater to engage the heat elements.
REMOTE CARE
If the heater will not be used for a while, please remove the battery in the
remote control according to the following steps, then take care of the remote
control.
STORAGE
Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and
dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit.

A limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser of this heater and warrants against malfunction due to manufacturing defects for a period of (1) one year from the date of retail purchase. This heating appliance must be operated according to the written instructions
furnished with this heater. This warranty shall not excuse the owner from
properly maintaining this heater according to the written instructions
furnished with this heater. A bill of sale, canceled check, or payment record
must be kept to verify the purchase date and establish the warranty period.
The original carton should be kept in case of warranty return of the unit.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
- Damage caused by misuse or use contrary to the owner’s manual and safety guidelines.
- Damage is caused by a lack of normal maintenance.
- Repair by an unauthorized person.
