Important Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before operating.
Keep the heater away from furniture or hanging drapes.
Ensure the rear grill is not blocked and keep the heater clean.
Unplug when not in use and use on a flat dry surface.
Do not use it in the presence of explosive or flammable vapors.
Avoid placing objects over the heater or near the air intake.

Operating Instructions

Place the heater on a flat, dry surface away from obstructions.
Plug the heater into a 110-120 volt 60Hz AC power supply.
Turn on the heater using the control panel or remote.
Select the desired thermostat setting (HIGH, LOW, ECO).
Monitor the LED display for temperature and settings.
In case of a tip-over, reset the heater by restoring it to an upright position.

INTENDED USE

This product is intended ONLY for indoor household or office use.
It is NOT intended for industrial or commercial use. Do not use the product outdoors.

Read all instructions before using this heater.
This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
ALWAYS unplug the heater when not in use. (This item may be omitted if the heater is provided with a clock-operated switch).
DO NOT operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard the heater or return it to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
DO NOT use outdoors.
This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. NEVER locate a heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
DO NOT run the cord under the carpeting. DO NOT cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. DO NOT route the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
To disconnect the heater, turn the controls off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
Connect to properly grounded outlets only. (This item may be omitted if the heater is not provided with a grounding-type attachment plug.)
DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire or damage the heater.
To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. NEVER use an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
This heater may include an audible (visual) alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessively hot. If the alarm sounds (flashes), immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may cause high temperatures. DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM SOUNDING (FLASHING).
Any repairs to this appliance should be carried out by a qualified service person.
Under no circumstances should this appliance be modified. Parts having to be removed for servicing must be replaced prior to operating this appliance again.
DO NOT use this heater in elevated locations, such as on shelves, raised platforms, etc.
This appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, with the current CSA C22.0 Canadian Electrical codes or for USA installations, follow local codes and the National Electric code ANSI/NFPA No. 70.
Hyperthermia can result in death. Symptoms of hyperthermia include high body temperature, headache, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If you begin to experience symptoms related to hyperthermia, turn off the heater and seek medical attention.
To avoid excessive room temperatures which can cause hyperthermia: DO NOT leave the product running unattended in a confined space around infants, or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.

OVERHEAT SAFETY FEATURE

This heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device. If the heater grill is obstructed, or if the
heater gets too hot for any reason, the automatic overheat device will turn the heater off. To reset the heater,
simply turn off the power and unplug the heater, remove any obstructions, check the cord and the plug for
damage. Leave unplugged for 30 minutes until it cools completely. Plug unit back in and switch it on. If the
heater still does not turn on, please contact customer service.

TIP-OVER SAFETY FEATURE

This heater is equipped with a safety tip-over device. Once the heater is tipped over, an external switch located on the bottom of the heater will automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is restored to an upright position, the heater will reset.

WARNING: This heater has a voltage rating of 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown in A. An adapter as shown in C is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE GROUNDED PLUG.

WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.

CONTROL PANEL

Temp up button: To increase the desired temperature.
ON/OFF button: Powers the display on and off.
Temp down button: To decrease the desired temperature.
Mode button To select between High Low and Eco modes.
Digital display Indicate set room temperature or time or heating mode or lock.
Signal to receive window: For receiving a remote control signal.
Timer button Used to engage timer mode and to set hour value for the timer.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Start and select working mode.
Setting Desired Temperature
Setting the POWER OFF TIMER Function
Note: The Power-Off-Timer Function will allow for the heater to power OFF after a certain set time and can only be set while the heater’s display is in the “On” position.
Setting the POWER-ON-TIMER Function
(Note: The Power-ON-Timer Function will allow for the heater to power ON after a certain set time and can only be set while the heater’s display is in the “Off” position.
Setting electro lock
The Electro Lock can help prevent the heater from being accidentally engaged by children. The locking mechanism can be set in both the ON and OFF modes .

NOTE: Once the power is off, the heating element will stop working first. Fan will CONTINUE working for 3 min to cool interior of heater. This is normal.

MAINTENANCE

Turn off the heater on by pressing the ON/OFF button on the control panel or by pressing the Power button on the supplied remote control.
Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT let liquid enter the heater.
DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
DO NOT immerse the heater in water.
Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.

CAUTION
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, or injury to persons.

BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING

If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair advice:

Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.
Check if the electricity to the main fuse is working.
Check to see if the battery on the remote is placed correctly, undamaged.

NOTE: For the heater to function properly, the desired temperature on the heater must be set a few degrees higher than the temperature in the room. If the seems to not be heating, increase the desired temperature on the heater to engage the heat elements.

REMOTE CARE

STORAGE

Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit. Comfort-Glow-

A limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser of this heater and warrants against malfunction due to manufacturing defects for a period of (1) one year from the date of retail purchase.
