WARNING:
Risk of electrical shock Disconnects power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing. Verify that the supply voltage is correct. Connect the fixture to an AC100V-240V 50/60Hz power source.

Properly connect the fixture.

  • Always follow code standards when installing wired connections.
  • If you are not familiar with hardwired electrical connections, installation and wiring should be performed by a licensed electrician.

CAUTION: Risk of fire
Do not install near combustible or flammable surfaces.

Risk of electric shock
Do not use where directly exposed to water.

NOTICE

  • Do not connect this fixture to a traditional dimmer switch or timer.
  • The downlight must be installed on a steady and dry area.

Shut the power off at the breaker
Find the breaker that controls the circuit for your downlight. Turn it off before you continue with the installation.

Determine the location

  1. With the power off at the breaker, carefully remove any existing light fixture if retrofitting the housing to accommodate the smart light.

  2. If no lights have been previously installed, determine the position of your new downlight.

  3. Next, trace the hole size or mark the center in the chosen location.

  4. Then use a saw or the appropriate drill bit to cut the hole.

  5. Before doing anything else, use the voltage tester to make sure the power is off.

  6. Connect the Line and Neutral power leads with the matching box wires.

    North American color code standard: black and white Europe/Australian color code standard: blue and brown

  7. Secure the wires with the wire nuts by turning them clockwise. Gently pull the wires to test the connection.

  8. Once the wires are securely connected, place the wires and junction in the ceiling through the hole.

  9. Then connect the light and the junction box by locking both connectors together.

  10. Hold on the spring clips against the fixture and gently guide it into the ceiling, until the clips snap firmly into place.

  11. Make sure the fixture is flushed with the ceiling surface.

  12. After the fixture is installed, restore the power at the breaker to make sure everything is working correctly.

Installing the Next Home App

Download the Next Home app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Step 1
Register by email. Fill in the required fields.

Step 2
Enter the verification code you received.

Connection

Once the Nexxt Smart downllght ls Installed, open your Nexxt Home application and follow the steps described below.

Add device

Step 1
Select Adel device. If the device i5 not recognized automatically, select the Smart down light Icon from the 11st of devices, and then tap Goto add.

Step 2
Verify that the smart down light is powered on. You must connect to a 2 .4GHzWI-FI network. Enter your network password. Ensure to use the correct password, otherwise the device will not connect.

Step 3
Make sure the light is blinking. If it fuils to blink. reset the downlight. To do so, turn the light on and off six consecutive times from the switch, until it begins to blink. Next, tap on Confirm the light blinks rapidly .NEXXT-SOLUTIONS-NHB-W710-Smart-WiFi-LED-Downlight-fig-

Step 4
Once the downlight is detected by the application, the notification Device added successfully will be displayed. Olckon Next to continue.

Step 5

Timer setup
The timer function, loc.ated in the bottom left corner of the screen, allows users to set a countdown for a given amount of time to cause the devic:eto tun on or off.

Scene configuration

Located at the top right corner of the screen, this interface provides access to four preconfigured scenes. It also allows the creation of additional scenes with customized brightness, temperature, and mode, such as static, and FlashorBreath.

Additional parameters

The More option provides access to two submenus: Schedule and Power-on behavior.

Schedule setup

It allows users to program specific times and dates for the device to turn on or off. Select Schedule to access the Add Schedule screen. Set the time you wish to program. Select Repeat to determine the frequency of the event. Click on the toggle button below to choose between the On/Off status. Click on Save on the upper right-hand comer when done.

Delete setup
To remove a schedule on iOS, slide item to the left, and for Android, press and hold Schedule, followed by Delete.

Power-on memory

Do Not Disturb:

  • Enable the do-not-disturb feature and then turn off your light using the mobile app before you go to bed.
  • Once power is restored, one of the three power-on states below can be selected by the user:
  • Initial mode: restores the color and brightness to their default settings. Restore memory: reverts to the color and brightness settings used last.
  • Customized: the light will light up based on the specific color and brightness the user has selected.

Settings

  • Device Information: displays detailed information related to the downlight.
  • Device name: changes the icon and the name of the device, and it also allows the user to assign a different location. Note: click on the pencil Icon to access the device name menu.
  • Tap-To-Run and Automation: links the Wi-Fi downlight with other Miart products to automatically control them through a customized command.
  • Third-party control: enablesthevoTce recognition feature through Alexa and Google Assistant.
  • Share device: allows sharing the Wi-Fi downlights with family and friends.
  • Create group: makes management of devices easier by selecting and arranging multiple components under a single group.
  • Feedback: let us know if you have any issues setting up the product.
  • Location information: allows access to the device’s location, which is used for scene segmentation within the home.
  • Add home screen: adds a shortcut of the device to the main screen on your phone.
  • Device update: we will sometimes add new features or provide updates with a new firmware upgrade.
  • Remove device: this allows you to unbind the device from the Nexxt Home Account.
Share device

Click on Share devices then tap Add Sharing. Enter the e-mail address of family and friends. Tap on Done. The newly configured users will now have acce55 to your smart downlight.

Note:
Family or friends will need their own Nexxt Solutions Home Account to access the device period.

Delete user
To remove a user, on Android press and hold the name you want to eliminate. On iOs slide to the left the user you want to remove. Click on Delete. A notification confirming you don’t want to share the device with this user will be displayed. Click on Confirm.
