Before First Use

  1. Let the device run for 10 minutes at 320 degrees Celsius with the lid closed to warm up the baking stone and eliminate residues.
  2. Avoid using cooking oil or water directly on the baking stone. Place uncooked food directly on the stone surface for cooking.
  3. Do not use a knife on the baking stone to prevent damage to the surface.
  4. Thaw frozen pizza bases before use for a crispy cooked pizza.

Daily Usage

  1. Ensure the temperature control knob is at 0 and only the baking stone is inside the device.
  2. Plug in the device, set the temperature to 320 degrees Celsius, and preheat for 10 minutes.
  3. Add pizza dough and toppings, ensuring toppings are below the upper heating element.
  4. Slide the pizza onto the baking stone using spatula.
  5. Cook at 400 degrees Celsius for 4-5 minutes, adjusting time based on dough thickness and toppings.

WARNING

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. The knobs 1, (3) and handles (5) will become hot while the device is being heated. Please use oven mitts or gloves when opening the lid (4) of the device.
  • Extreme caution is needed when opening the lid (4) as built-up steam maybe quickly released. Gloves or oven mitts are recommended when opening the device to ensure safety.

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Before cooking, let your device run for 10 minutes with the lid (4) closed on temperature setting 320 degree of Celsius to warm up the baking stone (7). In this way all the residues of the lubricants of the heating elements are eliminated.
  2. Never use cooking oil or water directly on the baking stone (7) when cooking or cleaning. Place the uncooked food (pizza) directly on the stone surface for cooking.
  3.  Do not worry about small scratches or that your stone surface (7) has turned a darker color. This does not affect the good performance of your baking stone(7). Remember never use a knife on the baking stone as this could damage the fine-grained cooking surface.
  4. The device is to make delicious pizzas from fresh doughs and frozen pizza bases. When using a frozen pizza base, allow the base to thaw before placing it into the device. This will result in a crispy cooked pizza. When cooking afresh dough, lightly flour the baking stone (7) surface before placing the dough directly onto it. If your dough is sticky, add more flour on your baking stone surface (7).
  5. Extreme caution is needed when opening the lid (4) as built-up steam may be quickly released. Gloves are recommended when opening the appliance to ensure safety.

DAILY USAGE

  1. Make sure the temperature control knob (1) is set to position “0” and have a quick check that nothing is inside your device other than the baking stone (7). Close the lid (4) of your device.

  2. Plug in the device. Turn the temperature control knob (1) to setting of 320 degree of Celsius. The indicator light (2) illuminates and your device starts preheating. Turn the timer knob (3) to position “10” (10 minutes). Wait until the bell rings; your device is now ready for use.
    Note: By preheating your device before using, you will achieve better baking results.

  3. Place your pizza dough onto the spatulas (8) and then add your favorite toppings.
    Important: Never pile the top pizza toppings too high. Top toppings (including cheese) should always be below the height of the upper heating element (6) to avoid burning.

  4. Slide your pizza onto the baking stone (7) by the spatulas (8).
    WARNING: The baking stone (7) and its handles (5) will be extremely hot. Do not touch at any time until cooled down.

  5. Close the lid (4) of your device. Turn the temperature control knob (1) to position 400 degree of Celsius and allow your pizza to bake for 4-5 minutes. Adjust the baking time according to the dough thickness, toppings and your taste.
    Note: It is recommended to check the progress after 3 minutes. Do not open the lid (4) to check the pizza repeatedly, or the water inside will be evaporated. If your pizza is thin, turn the temperature control knob (1) to a lower setting to reduce the cooking temperature. To raise the cooking temperature, turn the knob (1) to a higher setting.

  6.  If you wish to cook more pizzas (one after another), repeat above process without preheating. Repeat steps 3-5.
    If the temperature of your device becomes too high, leave the lid (4) open for a few minutes after finished one pizza and set the temperature setting back to position 320 degree of Celsius. Turn the temperature control knob (1) to position 400 degree of Celsius when you slide another pizza onto the baking stone (7) for cooking again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. After each use, unplug your device and let it cool. Be careful not to touch or try to clean your device until all parts have cooled down to room temperature.
  2. To clean the outside of the device only use a damp cloth. Never dip or immerse your device into water or any other liquids. This could cause an electrical shock and/or damage to your device.
  3. To clean the baking stone (7), never use cooking oil, water or any detergents. Scrape off any excess food with a spatula (8) or a stiff bristled brush and wipe clean with a paper towel oraclean dishcloth.
  4. To clean the spatulas (8), wash them in warm water and mild dish washing liquid. Never allow them to stay in water as water saturation will damage the spatulas.
  5. Never use the baking stone (7) for any other purpose than intended use. Never put liquids on the baking stone (7) whether it is hot or cold.
  6.  Do not put any part in a dishwasher for cleaning.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

  • Problem no 1: The indicator light (2) goes on and off.
  • Cause no 1: This is an automatic thermostat light.
  • Solution of problem no 1: The light will stay on until the device has reached the desired temperature setting.
  • Problem no 2: Top of the pizza burns.
  • Cause no 2: Temperature of the device is too high.
  • Solution of problem no 2: Check the pizza. If the top is cooking quicker than the bottom, turn the temperature setting back to position 320 degree of Celsius, leaving the pizza to continue cooking without the thermostat light (2) on. Alternatively, leave the lid (4) open for
  • a couple of minutes so you can watch the pizza finish cooking.
  • Problem no 3: Bottom of the pizza burns.
  • Cause no 3: Temperature of the device is too high.
  • Solution of problem no 3: When cooking the first pizza, make sure the device is preheating on a temperature setting 320 degree of Celsius. No need to wait for 10 minutes, just until the indicator light (4) goes out and then allow a couple of minutes for the baking stone (7) to rest before adding the pizza.When cooking more pizzas one after another, leave the lid (4) open for a few minutes after finished one pizza and set the temperature setting back to position 320 degree of Celsius. Turn the setting to position 400 degree of Celsius when you slide another pizza onto the
  • baking stone (7) for cooking again.
  • Problem no 4: Dirty baking stone (7).
  • Cause no 4: Moisture on the surface of the baking stone (7).
  • Solution of problem no 4: Don’t worry if stone marks. The greater the marks, the better the flavor it gives to the pizza. Just scrape off any excess food with a stainless steel spatula (8).
