VIPER 900 Series Slingshot Machine
Specifications
- Product Name: Viper Vehicle Telematics
- Compatibility: Works with machines equipped with CAN bus

Product Usage Instructions
- Locate the vehicle CAN tee cable (P/N 115-0172-602) and connect it to the diagnostic port on the machine.
- Connect the opposite end of the vehicle CAN tee cable to Port 5 at the back side of the Viper 4/4+.
AGCO ROGATOR C Installation
- Disconnect the X-63 connector plugged into the front bulkhead connector at the electrical panel on the right side of the cab.
- Remove the retaining nut from the bulkhead connector and pull the connector out of the electrical panel.
- Remove the dust plug from cavity #19 and #20 of the connector.
- Insert the yellow wire into cavity #19 and the green wire into cavity #20 of the Raven vehicle CAN cable (P/N 115-2001-074).
- Connect the X-59 connector to the Raven vehicle CAN cable.
- Reinstall the bulkhead connector and reconnect the X-63 connector.
Fendt Rogator 900 Series Installation
- Remove the Access Cover and Bulkhead Plate.
- Disconnect the 12 12-pin connector from the ECU and pull it out through the bulkhead plate opening.
- Connect cable (P/N 115-2001-078) to the 12 12-pin connector and insert the remaining connector into the ECU.
- Insert pins from the ECU Cable into pin locations 22 and 23 in the bulkhead plate connector.
- Disconnect the corresponding connector from the bulkhead plate and insert pins from Tee Adapter Viper 4+ Cable (P/N 115-2001-077) into pin locations 22 and 23 in the bulkhead plate connector.

SLINGSHOT MACHINE VIEW AND FLEET ANALYTICS
- Slingshot Machine View and Fleet Analytics provide real-time machine and fleet information so users may make informed operational decisions.
- Machine View monitors the machine position and provides a quick summary of the machine activity status, product level, and fuel/DEF levels.
- Fleet Analytics offers statistics on productivity and efficiency – acres per day, fuel consumption, transit/working/idle time breakdown, and more.
NOTE: A Slingshot account with at least a Gold subscription is required to take advantage of these features. Contact a Slingshot dealer to complete the system configuration.
VIPER VEHICLE TELEMATICS INSTALLATION
- To access machine performance information, the Viper 4+ must be connected to the vehicle CAN bus of the machine.
UNIVERSAL INSTALLATION

Locate the vehicle CAN tee cable (P/N 115-0172-602) and connect it to the diagnostic port located on the machine.
NOTE: If another device is already installed in the diagnostic port, relocate the previously installed device to the spare diagnostic port on the vehicle CAN tee cable. -
Connect the opposite end of the vehicle CAN tee cable to Port 5 at the back side of the Viper 4/4+.
NOTE: If another cable is already connected to Port 5, relocate the previously installed cable to the mating connector on the vehicle CAN tee cable.
AGCO ROGATOR C INSTALLATION
- Disconnect the X-63 connector plugged into the front bulkhead connector at the electrical panel at the right side of the cab.
- Remove the retaining nut from the bulkhead connector and pull the connector out of the electrical panel.
- Remove the dust plug from cavity #19 and from cavity #20 of the connector.
- Locate the Raven vehicle CAN cable (P/N 115-2001-074). Insert the yellow wire into cavity #19, and insert the green wire into cavity #20.
- Identify the X-59 J1939 connector inside the electrical panel and remove the dust plug.
- Connect the X-59 connector to the Raven vehicle CAN cable.
- Reinstall the bulkhead connector and reconnect the X-63 connector.
FENDT ROGATOR 900 SERIES INSTALLATION
Kit Part Number 117-0171-907
- Remove the Access Cover.
- Remove the Bulkhead Plate.
- Disconnect the 12-pin connector from the ECU.
- Pull out the 12 12-pin connector through the bulkhead plate opening.
- Connect the cable (P/N 115-2001-078) to the 12 12-pin connector that was previously removed from the ECU.
- Connect the remaining connector to the ECU.
- Insert the pins from the ECU Cable into pin locations 22 and 23 as shown in the bulkhead plate connector.
- Disconnect the corresponding connector from the bulkhead plate.
- Inset the Pins from the Tee Adapter Viper 4+ Cable (P/N 115-2001-077) into pin locations 22 and 23 in the bulkhead plate connector.
- Route the Tee Adapter Viper 4+ Cable along existing harnesses.
- Disconnect the CAN cable from the rear of the Viper 4.
- Connect the Tee Adapter Viper 4+ Cable (P/N 115-2001-077) to the CAN Cable that was removed from the Viper 4.
- Connect the remaining connector to the rear of the Viper 4.
- Install the Access Panel and Bulkhead Plate.
- Install the Bulkhead Plate Connector.
- Secure the Viper Tee Adapter Cable with tie straps.
