Note: This graphene heatshield is single use only and cannot be re-used.
Installing Graphene Heatshield
- Remove protective film from the graphene heatshield.
- Align with the edges of the SSD. Avoid covering the screw hole and m.2 pin connector.
Installing Aluminum Heatshield
- Remove protective film from the aluminum heatshield.
- Position the SSD on a flat surface so that the m.2 pin connector is to the right when reading heatshield.
- Align with the edges of the SSD. Avoid covering the screw hole and m.2 pin connector.
- Carefully align the bottom of the heatshield to the bottom edge of the SSD and lower the shield onto the SSD, from bottom to top. Avoid covering the screw hole and the m.2 pin connector.
- Align with the edges of the SSD. Avoid covering the screw hole and m.2 pin connector.
- Press gently on the heatshield across the entire SSD to ensure proper adhesion.
Additional Thermal Dissipation
For additional thermal dissipation, use both graphene and aluminum heatshield together. First place the graphene heatshield on the SSD, then place the aluminum heatshield on top of the graphene heatshield.
The Viper VP4300 m.2 SSD is now ready for action!
NOTE: The graphene heatshield is single use only and cannot be re-used.
