Ventair VTMSENSOR Exhaust Fan Motion Sensor
INSTALLATION AND WIRING
THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A LICENSED ELECTRICAL. TRUN OFF ALL POWER BY REMOVING POWER FUSE OR TURNING OFF CIRCUIT BREAKER
CAUTION
- This product should be Installed in accordance with a Circuit Breaker(250V AC, 1 OA) type C according to EN30898-1
- Do not mount on conductive surfaces
- Do not open the enclosure frequently
- Turn off all power by removing power fuse of turning off circuit breaker
- A high “In-rush current” may occur when bulbs of certain brands are burnt
- Which might damage the unit permanently
Selecting a Location
Since the sensor responds to temperature changes, please avoid the following conditions:
- Do not aim the sensor towards lights of any kind.
- Avoid directing the sensor towards areas or objects whose surfaces are highly reflective or are subject to rapid temperature change. Such as pools.
- Avoid mounting the sensor near heat sources such as heating vents air conditioners. Dryer vents or lights.
- Avoid aiming the sensor toward objects which may move in the wind such as curtains.

Application
- OS451Acan be wide1ly used in offices ,conference rooms, hotels, lavatoriesTetc.
- The optimum height or 2.5m is sug1g1es’led while lns·1all1in9 1 thus the detection rage can reach up to a circular of 6m diameter.

All wiring should comply with local electrical codes will require a licensed
electrician.
Note:
To ensure wiring is correct. Please recheck carefully after wiring
Note :
The thickness of ceiling board for installation can be 5-20mm(refer FIG.9).
Installation procedure

To install the sensor, drill a hole in the ceiling with a diameter of 32mm wide And keep the power cable outside the hole once drilled.

Strip off 6-8mm of Cable sheathing with toll.

Unscrew protective cover on power box with screw driver.

Connect the power box terminal with RJ 11,the cover up the cable cover and screw it tightly.

Refer to wiring diagram to connect cables, then cover up the cable cover and screw it tightly

After arranging all wires,insert the power box into ceiling through the drilled hole

Put detector’s two spring clips into the drilled hole, then insert the detector upwards
-
Restore the power supply.
OPERATION
PULL OUT THE DETECTOR HEAD
- Prize up the detector bead at the neck with a screwdriver
- Pull out the detector slightly until the knobs are visible
- Push the detector head to normal position upwards after knob setting Completed
METER.TIME KNOB SETTING
Follow the marked values to adjust Meter. Time knobs according to User’s
desires
