  1. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons. This will also void your warranty.

  2. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the rating label.

  3. This product is intended for indoor use ONLY. Do not use it outdoors or anywhere it might be exposed to the elements.

  4. To protect against electric shock: do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids; do not place fan on windowsills or other places where it may be exposed to dripping or splashing of water; do not place vases or similar objects filled with liquids near the fan.

  5. Do not use this product in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtubs, washbowls, swimming pools etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.

  6. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.

  7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

  8. This product is not a toy! Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  9. Turn the fan OFF and unplug the fan from the outlet when not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another and before cleaning. Fully assemble the fan before switching on again.

  10. To disconnect the fan, first turn the unit OFF, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet.
    Never pull the plug by the cord.

  11. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.

  12. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.

  13. Do not operate fan with a damaged cord or plug, or if the product malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner.

  14. Avoid contact with moving fan parts. Do not insert any body parts (e.g. finger) or objects through the grill when the fan is operating.

  15. The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may be hazardous.

  16. Place the fan on a dry, level surface to avoid overturning.

  17. Do not operate if the fan housing is damaged.

  18. Do not cover the grill, or operate in close proximity to curtains, etc. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

  19. A loose fit between the AC outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and a distortion of the plug. Contact a qualified technician to replace loose or worn outlet.

  20. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazard.

  21. If the fan is not working properly, contact a qualified technician for examination and repair.

  22. Never attempt to dismantle the fan yourself.

  23. Never install or store the unit where it could be subject to:
    a. Heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other products that produce heat
    b. Direct sunlight
    c. Mechanical vibration or shock
    d. Excessive dust
    e. Uneven surfaces

  24. Do not leave the fan running unattended.

  25. The fan must be fully and properly assembled before use.

ASSEMBLING YOUR FAN
Assembling the Blade and Grill
  1. Unscrew the 4 x Rear Grill Locking Screws from the Motor Housing.

  2. Align the Rear Grill on the Motor Housing and fix it in place using the 4 x Rear Grill Locking Screws (Figure 1).

  3. Remove the plastic sleeve on the Motor Shaft and unscrew the Blade Screw.

  4. Slide the Fan Blade onto the Motor Shaft as far as it will go. Replace the Blade Screw into the slot on the Motor Shaft and tighten clockwise. Ensure  that the flat surface of the Motor Shaft is aligned with the Blade Screw (Figure 2).

  5. Loosen the Grill Locking Screw on the bottom of the Grill Ring (do not loosen fully). Press the Grill Ring over the Rear Grill so that the Rear Grill fits into the groove on the Grill Ring.

  6. Position the Front Grill in front of the Rear Grill. Push each section of the Front Grill onto the groove so that the Grill Ring fits around both grills.

  7. Tighten the Grill Locking Screw (and Nut) on the bottom of the Grill Ring. Press the Grill Ring Cover on to the Grill Ring so that the Grill Locking Screw fits into the groove.

Assembling the Fan Body

Wall Fan

Use the 2 x Expansion Bolts, 2 x Ceiling Anchors and 2 x Ceiling Screws to fix the fan in place. (Figure 4)

Pedestal Fan

  1. Place the Tube on the Base; insert and tighten the 4 x Base Screws through the corresponding holes and Base weight, put on the Base Spring Washer and Base Flat on the Base screw, and then secure the 4 x Base Screws with 4 x Base Wing Nut. (Figure 5)

  2. Loosen and remove the Height Adjustment Collar from the top of the Outer Tube. Slide the Base Decorative Cover down over the Outer Tube. Pull the Inner Tube out to the desired height, and then re-attach the Height Adjustment Collar. (Figure 6)

  3. Slide the Motor Housing onto the Inner Tube (if necessary, loosen the Neck Screw first) (Figure 7). Reinsert and tighten the 2 x Neck Screws **(Figure 8).

OPERATION
Wall Fan

OSC STRING: Pull on the string to switch Oscillation on/off.

FAN SETTING STRING:

  • Pull on the string to switch the fan on. At first start-up the fan will operate at low speed.
  • Pull on the same string a couple of times to reach desired fan speed. Choose between Low (1 ), Medium (2), High (3) fan speeds.

TILT ADJUSTMENT: To adjust the vertical angle of the fan, turn it off then grip top and bottom of the grill firmly and tilt.
Caution: The fan should always be switched off when making this adjustment.

Pedestal Fan

Warning: Make sure that the fan is fully assembled (and that the grills are in place and locked) before switching on

  • Place the fan on a level, stable surface away from obstacles.
  • Connect the power plug into a suitable mains socket of the same specifications as shown on the unit rating label (see Technical Specifications for details).

Turn on/ Speed Adjustment: Turn the Speed Dial to the desired position. There are 5 positions:

0 – Off
1 – Low Speed
2 – Medium speed
3 – High speed
4 – Highest speed

Oscillation on/ off: Set the Oscillation Switch to the “I” position, the fan start oscillating; set the Oscillation Switch to “O” position, the fan stop oscillating.

Height adjustment: Hold the Inner Tube with one hand and loosen the Height Adjustment Collar.
Pull up the Inner Tube to the desired height. Tighten the Height Adjustment Collar to fix it in position.
TILT ADJUSTMENT: To adjust the vertical angle of the fan, turn it off then grip top and bottom of the grill firmly and tilt.
Caution: The fan should always be switched off when making this adjustment.

CARE AND MAINTENANACE

CAUTION

  • Always switch off the fan before removing the grills or performing any cleaning.
  • Do not use harsh detergents, chemical cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surface finish of the components.
  1. Loosen the Grill Locking Screw and detach the Front Grill.
  2. Use a soft brush or a lint-free cloth to clean the blades. To avoid the possibility of an electric shock, do not use water for cleaning.
  3. Make sure that the fan is completely assembled before switching on again.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

If you do not plan to use the fan for extended periods of time, it is recommended that it is cleaned and stored (preferably in its original packaging) in a cool, dry place.

If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.

  1. The fan or relevant part has not been modified, subject to misuse, neglect or been

  3. The repairs are not required as a result of normal wear and tear.
  4. The product was installed in accordance with the instruction manual.
  5. No solid state speed control device has been used with this appliance.
  • If you consider there are faults relating to the installation, contact your installer to Rectify.

ASSEMBLING YOUR FAN
Assembling the Fan Body

Wall Fan

If unsure, ask someone with experience to help you mount the fan.

  1. Select an appropriate location (consider Power Cord length) and fix the Base onto a strong wall or with the 3 provided Expansion Bolt, you will first need to drill holes in the wall that match the holes in the Base. If the power cord is hanging loose between the fan and the power outlet, make sure it cannot touch or obstruct fan blade rotation or fan oscillation at any time.

  2. Tighten the Base and Pole by screwing the base locking screws.

  3. Fit the Motor Housing to the Pole, and then tighten with 2 provided Neck Screws.

Pedestal Fan

  1. Fix the Outer Pole to the Base with 4x Base Screws.

  2. Tighten the Base Locking Screws at the bottom of Base.

  3. Loosen the Height Adjustment Screw and Fixing Connector Screw, take out the Pole Connector and Inner Pole with Rubber Ring. Slide the Base Decoration Cap down over the assembly.

  4. Replace the Pole Connector and Inner Pole with Rubber Ring, and tighten the Fixing Connector Screw. Pull the Inner Pole out from the Outer Pole to adjust the stand to desired height, and then tighten the Height Adjustment Screw.

  5. Slide the Motor Housing onto the Inner Pole (if necessary, loosen the Neck Screw first), Reinsert and tighten the Neck Screw, the above screw need to match the hole on the Inner Pole.

Assembling the Blade and Grille

Wall Fan

  1. Unscrew the 4 x Rear Grill Locking Screws from the Motor Housing.

  2. Align the Rear Grill on the Motor Housing and fix it in place using the 4 x Rear Grill Locking Screws (Figure 1 ).

  3. Loosen the Blade Screw, slide the Fan Blade onto the Motor Shaft as far as it will go.
    Replace the Blade Screw into the slot on the Motor Shaft and tighten clockwise. Ensure that the flat surface of the Motor Shaft is aligned with the Blade Screw (Figure 2).

  4. Centre the Front Grill by aligning the central logo so that it is horizontal and parallel to the floor. Snap the Grill Clips to secure; then tighten the Grill Locking Screw (and  nut) on thebottom of the Rear Grill. (Figure 3)

OPERATION

Turn on/ Speed Adjustment: Turn the Speed Dial to the desired position. There are 4 positions:

0 – Off
1 – Low Speed
2 – Medium speed
3 – High speed

Oscillation on/ off: Set the Oscillation Switch to the “I” position, the fan start oscillating; set the Oscillation Switch to “O” position, the fan stop oscillating.

Height adjustment: To adjust the height, hold the Inner Pole with one hand and loosen the Height Adjustment Screw. Push the Inner Pole into or out of the Outer Pole as desired to adjust the height. Tighten the Height Adjustment Screw to fix the fan in its final position.

CARE AND MAINTENANACE

  • Always switch off the fan before removing the grills or performing any cleaning.
  • Do not use harsh detergents, chemical cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surface finish of the components.
  1. Loosen the Grill Screw and open the Grill Clips to detach the Front Grill.

  2. Use a soft duster or a rag to dust off all the surfaces.

  3. Wipe all the parts with a soft damp (not wet) cloth dipped in mild soapy water.
    Caution: Ensure that water doesn’t get into the Motor Unit.

  4. Use a dry cloth to thoroughly dry the blades and the grills before reassembling.

Make sure that the fan is completely assembled before switching on again.
