How do I power on my Razer Nommo Chroma?

Press on the volume knob until you hear a click to switch on your Razer Nommo Chroma.

How do I control the Chroma lighting on my Razer Nommo Chroma?

The Chroma lighting on your Razer Nommo Chroma can be customized via Synapse 3. From there you will be able to customize your Razer Nommo Chroma to a similar degree as every other Chroma-enabled Razer product.

How do I get the best possible sound settings for my Razer Nommo Chroma?

The Razer Nommo Chroma features independent volume and bass knobs. Adjust the level of each until you get the sound you like.

Can I fine tune the EQ settings on my Razer Nommo Chroma?

The Razer Nommo Chroma was designed to give you the optimal balance of sound without the need for fine-tuning your audio. If you desire greater clarity and lower bass, try to adjust the level of your bass knob to a desirable level.

Can I use my Razer Nommo Chroma with other devices besides my computer?

You can use the Razer Nommo Chroma with any devices that have a 3.5mm output jack for audio be it on your computer, TV or mobile phone.

How do I know which speaker is “left” or “right”?

The base of each speaker has left and right indicators.

Can I use the controls on the speaker when my headphones are connected?

Yes. You can adjust bass and volume levels on your headphones when connected.

Why is the audio output soft when aux input is connected?

Make sure that the source volume is not low. Increase the volume of the source device slowly.

Why is there no audio?

Make sure input or aux input is connected to your source device. Also, make sure that you do not have any other device plugged into the headphone jack.

Why is the volume not loud enough?

We have automatic gain control in our speakers to protect the speakers and your ears.

Can I touch the drivers?

We recommend against touching the drivers as rough handling may cause damage.

Can I connect my Razer Nommo Chroma via the 3.5mm jack as well as USB port

to my PC?

We do not recommend this unless the Aux Input is connected to a separate device as a secondary audio source. Both audio sources will be mixed together. You can, for example, connect your mobile phone to the speaker if you wish to play music from your mobile device instead of your computer.

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Download the latest firmware update.
Close Razer Synapse and all other running applications before proceeding with the update.
Run the downloaded firmware (The installer will prompt you to close Synapse and all other applications, if you have already done so, click “OK” to proceed).
Connect Razer Nommo Chroma speakers to your PC using the USB cable.
Press and hold the power button on the speaker and then press the “UPDATE”button (Note: Keep holding the power button until the update has been completed).
Continue to follow the displayed prompts until the firmware is successfully updated.
