WARNING: TO AVOID INJURY OR DEATH

FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL TIMES.

ALWAYS APPLY THE BRAKES WHENEVER THE STROLLER IS STATIONARY.

SECURE THE CHILD IN THE HARNESS AT ALL TIMES.

PUT ON ALL THE BRAKES WHENEVER YOU PARK THE STROLLER.

DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED.

DO NOT CARRY EXTRA CHILDREN OR BAGS ON THIS STROLLER.

MAKE SURE CHILDREN ARE CLEAR OF ANY MOVING PARTS
IF YOU ADJUST THE STROLLER, OTHERWISE THEY MAY BE INJURED. -
Please ensure that the safety harness is adjusted and used at all times.

A harness can form loops that may be a strangulation hazard. Never leave harness straps connected when not fitted to a child in the stroller.

Check the stroller is fully erected and all safety locks are engaged before placing a child in the stroller, otherwise, they may be injured.

Do not attempt to carry the stroller with your child in it.
-
The weight of the children using this stroller should not exceed 15kg.

The stroller is not suitable for running or skating.

Check the storage latch is engaged before you lift and carry the stroller.
-
Do not allow children to stand on the product.
-
Do not use the stroller near an open fire, barbecue, or exposed flame.
-
Use only those accessories which are supplied by the manufacturer, and approved for use with the stroller.

Any goods carried in the basket are not to exceed 2kg.
-
Any goods carried in the pocket are not to exceed 2kg.
-
Avoid placing stroller on parquetry, linoleum, or carpet floors as wheels may cause stains.
-
The stroller is designed for use on flat and gently sloping surfaces and may be unstable on higher sloping and uneven surfaces. Extra care is needed on steep slopes to prevent the stroller from tipping over.

Care shall be taken if the stroller is used on stairs or escalators.

Do not leave your child exposed to the sun. The canopy or hood on this product will not give your child total protection from the harmful rays of the sun.

Take care when unpacking and during assembly.

Dispose of all packing materials carefully after assembly.

Any additional or replacement parts should only be obtained from the manufacturer or distributor.

Never substitute parts.
COMPONENTS
TO OPEN THE STROLLER
WARNING:
• DUE CARE SHOULD BE EXERCISED WHEN FOLDING, UNFOLDING, OR ADJUSTING THE
STROLLER TO PREVENT FINGER/BODY PART ENTRAPMENT OR PINCHING.
• KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM STROLLER WHEN FOLDING OR UNFOLDING.
1. Release the storage latch. **See Figure 1![anko Layback Umbrella Stroller

2. Lift the handle upwards away from the front legs. Continue this action until the frame is fully open. See Figure 2
3. Press down the primary lock (a) firmly into the locked position. The secondary lock (b) will be. automatically engaged. See Figure 3
FRONT WHEELS ASSEMBLY
4. Make sure the front wheels are in the correct direction for assembly.

Push the wheels upwards to the front legs until they click into position in the correct direction. See Figure 4a
BRAKES
5. To apply the brakes, press down firmly on the brake pedals. Ensure that both brakes have fully engaged in each wheel. See Figure 5A
To release the brakes, lift the brake pedals until the brakes have fully disengaged from each wheel. See Figure 5B
WARNING:
ALWAYS APPLY THE BRAKES WHENEVER THE STROLLER IS STATIONARY.
CANOPY
6. Attach both plastic clips of the canopy to the stroller frame at the location just below the side grip fastening tabs, then attach the grip fastening tabs together. See Figure 6a
Open the canopy by flipping the canopy forward. See Figure 6b
TO ATTACH THE SEAT AND BASKET
7. Check and ensure the straps at the back of the seat and basket are attached to the back frame of the stroller by press studs. See Figure 7
TO ADJUST THE BACKREST

• Release the string at the back of the backrest to recline the seating position. See Figure 8
• Tighten the string and lift the backrest to select a more upright seating position.
CAUTION: Do not adjust the backrest while your child is in the stroller.
SAFETY HARNESS
9. To secure your child in the harness, push the shoulder strap buckle prongs
into the waistband buckle housing.
Push the buckle prongs (A)+(B) into the buckle housing until they snap into
position. Adjust slider (C) to ensure a snug fit for your child. Repeat for
the other side and also for the shoulder straps. After making adjustments to
the seat, always readjust the harness. See Figure 9
CAUTION: Always adjust the harness when changing the seating position of the child.
WARNING:
• USE THIS HARNESS AT ALL TIMES.
• HARNESS CAN FORM LOOPS THAT MAY POSE A STRANGULATION HAZARD. NEVER LEAVE THE
HARNESS CONNECTED WHEN NOT FITTED TO A CHILD IN THE STROLLER.
TETHER STRAP **

10. A wrist tether strap is provided near the handle grip. Slide your hand through the tether strap loop whenever you use the stroller. Only remove your hand from the tether strap loop when the brakes have been applied to the stroller wheels. See Figure 10
WARNING:
USE THE TETHER STRAP TO STOP THE STROLLER FROM ROLLING AWAY.
TO FOLD THE STROLLER **

NOTE – Check the following before folding the stroller
- The backrest is in its full upright position.
- The canopy is retracted.
- All brakes have been applied.
- All accessories have been removed.
11. Lift the primary lock (a) upwards and then press down the secondary lock (b). See Figure 11
Push the handle forward to fold the stroller. Continue this action until the lock is engaged.
WARNING:
• DUE CARE SHOULD BE EXERCISED WHEN FOLDING, UNFOLDING, OR ADJUSTING THE
STROLLER TO PREVENT FINGER/BODY PART ENTRAPMENT OR PINCHING.
• KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE STROLLER WHEN FOLDING OR UNFOLDING.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Inspect the product before assembly and periodically during use. Never use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, joints, or broken parts.
- Plastic and metal parts: Wipe with a damp cloth.
- Removable and non-removable fabric: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Do not dry clean⊗.
- Do not use abrasive pads, bleach, or strong household cleaners.
- Dry in shade thoroughly before use and avoid direct heat and sunlight.
- Dry thoroughly before storing.
- Always store in a clean and dry place.
- Occasionally clean and lubricate wheels and axles with light lubricating oil.
