Ultra-compact emergency headlamp

Batteries

Headlamp compatible with CR2032 lithium batteries. The shelf-life of this product, when properly stored, is up to 10 years before first use.

Malfunction

Check the condition and polarity of the batteries. Make sure the contacts aren’t corroded. If corroded, clean the contacts by gently scraping them without bending them. If your lamp still does not work, contact Petzl.

General info on Petzl lamps

A. Battery precautions
WARNING – DANGER: risk of explosion and burns.
– Do not attempt to open or dismantle batteries.
– Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
– Do not short-circuit the batteries, as this can cause burns.
– Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
– Correct battery polarity must be observed; follow the polarity markings on the battery case.
– If battery leakage occurs, protect your eyes. Cover the battery case with a rag before opening it to avoid contact with any discharge. In case of contact with liquid from the batteries, immediately rinse the affected area with clean water and get immediate medical attention.
– Do not mix brands of batteries.
– Do not mix new and used batteries.
– Remove the batteries from the lamp for prolonged storage.
– Keep batteries out of reach of children.
B. Lamp precautions
Eye safety
The lamp is classified in risk group 2 (moderate risk) according to the IEC 62471 standard.
– Do not look directly at the lamp when lit.
– The optical radiation emitted by the lamp can be dangerous. Avoid aiming the lamp’s beam into another person’s eyes.
– Risk of retinal damage from the emission of blue light, particularly in children.
Electromagnetic compatibility
Meets the requirements of the 2014/30/EU directive on electromagnetic compatibility.
Warning: an avalanche beacon in receive (find) mode can experience interference when in proximity to your headlamp. In case of interference (indicated by static noise from the beacon), move the beacon away from the headlamp.

If used in a damp environment, remove the batteries from the lamp and allow it to dry with the battery case open.

The Petzl guarantee

This lamp is guaranteed for 10 years against any defects in materials or manufacture. Exclusions from the guarantee: normal wear and tear, oxidation, modifications or alterations, incorrect storage, poor maintenance, damage due to accidents, to negligence, and to uses for which this product was not designed.
