1. Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

30. WARNING: For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit CH1359A provided with this Appliance.
31. The robot contains batteries that are only replaceable by skilled persons.
32. The Remote Control pre-installs two non-rechargeable AAA R03 batteries. To replace the battery of the Remote Control, please turn over the Remote Control, press and remove its Battery Cover. Remove the batteries, and insert the new batteries with the correct polarity. Reassemble the Battery Cover.
33. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
34. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
35. Batteries of the Remote Control are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
36. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the Appliance and safely disposed of.
37. If the Remote Control is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.

3. Operating and Programming

3.1 Notes Before Cleaning

Before Operating DEEBOT, take a few moments to survey the area to be cleaned and remove any obstacles.

Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that could entangle the product

The product is not suitable for use on long-pile carpet. Before using the product near a long-pile area rug or on a short-pile area rug with tasseled edges, please fold area rug edges under themselves.

Please be aware that the robot needs at least a 10cm (4″) clearance to clean under furniture without complications.

If there is a step or stairs in the cleaning area, please operate DEEBOT 7 to ensure its Anti-Drop Sensors can detect the drop off. It may be necessary to place a physical barrier at the edge of the drop off to keep the unit from falling over the edge.

3.2 Quick Start

(1) Charging Dock Placement
• Assemble Charging Dock: Insert Handheld Vacuum Cleaner into the Charging Dock and ensure it is securely locked in place.

• Placement: Place the Charging Dock on a level floor surface against the wall with the base perpendicular to the ground. Keep the charger clear of objects and reflective surfaces.
• Plug the Charging Dock in.

(2) Install Side Brushes

• Attach Side Brushes to the bottom of DEEBOT 7 by pressing a brush into each slot with the matching color until it clicks.

(3) Power ON

• Turn the robot’s Bottom Power Switch to the ON position. “I” indicates ON and “O” indicates OFF.

• When DEEBOT 7 is not working, it is suggested to keep it powered ON and charging, instead of powered OFF.

(4) Charge DEEBOT 7

• Place DEEBOT 7 on the Charging Dock making sure the Charging Contacts on DEEBOT 7 and the Charging Dock Pins make a connection.

• The Status Light Indicators on the top of the robot and the Battery Display on the robot’s Control Panel Screen blink when DEEBOT 7 is charging and go off when DEEBOT 7 is fully charged.

(5) Start

• Press on DEEBOT 7 or AUTO Mode Button on the Remote Control. DEEBOT 7 starts to work immediately in AUTO Cleaning Mode.

• To choose another Cleaning Mode, please refer to section 3.3 Cleaning Mode Selection for details.

(6) Pause

• Pause DEEBOT 7 by pressing any button on DEEBOT 7 or the Pause Button on the Remote Control.

• DEEBOT 7 can be directed to move forward, backward, left and right using the Direction Control Buttons on the Remote Control when it is paused. DEEBOT 7 does not clean when Paused.

(7) Automatic Emptying

When DEEBOT 7 finishes cleaning, or its battery gets low, it returns to the Charging Dock to recharge itself. Once DEEBOT 7 docks successfully, it automatically empties its own Dust Bin into the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner.

• Automatic Emptying will last about 20 seconds. Do not remove the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner from the Charging Dock during this process to avoid dust leakage or damage.

3.3 Cleaning Mode Selection

DEEBOT 7 has several Cleaning Modes for you to choose from to effectively clean different floors. Cleaning Modes are selected using the Mode Selection Button on the robot’s Control Panel or using the Remote Control.

• To switch Cleaning Modes using the Mode Selection Button on DEEBOT 7’s Control Panel, icon appears on the Control Panel Screen, then press START/PAUSE Button to start cleaning.
• To switch Cleaning Modes using the Remote Control press the desired Cleaning Mode button.

(1) AUTO Cleaning Mode
This is the most commonly used mode. In AUTO Cleaning Mode, DEEBOT 7 cleans in a straight line and changes direction when it meets an obstacle.

(2) Intensive Cleaning Mode
This mode is good for aggressive cleaning or for extremely dirty or duty floors. In this mode DEEBOT 7 is more sensitive to dirt and dust and performs a more thorough cleaning. In this mode, DEEBOT 7 follows the same cleaning pattern as Automatic Cleaning Mode, but performs a more thorough cleaning.

(3) Spot Cleaning Mode (1 minute)
This mode is applicable for an area of highly concentrated dirt or dust. In Spot Cleaning Mode, DEEBOT 7 Focused on a specific area to clean.

(4) Edge Cleaning Mode
This mode is good for cleaning the edges and corners of a room. In Edge Cleaning Mode, DEEBOT 7 cleaned along a border

5 Return to Charger Mode
When battery power gets low, DEEBOT 7 automatically switches to Return to Charger Mode and returns to the Charging Dock to recharge itself. DEEBOT 7 can be sent back to the Charging Dock at any time by pressing the Mode Selection Button on the robot until the Return to Charger Mode Indicator appears on the robot’s Control Panel Screen, then press START/PAUSE. Or press the Return to Charger Mode Button on the Remote Control.

3.4 Programming the Robot

DEEBOT 7 has a Time Scheduling function. DEEBOT 7 can be programmed to automatically clean once per day, at a specific time, even if nobody is at home.

• All scheduled cleanings are performed in Automatic Cleaning Mode. DEEBOT 7 has Dust Sensors that constantly monitor dust volume and automatically change DEEBOT 7 to the most effective cleaning pattern.

(1) Schedule the Cleaning Time

With DEEBOT 7 powered ON, press and hold on the robot’s Control Panel for 3 seconds until on the Control Panel Screen appears and the time setting numbers flash.

Press on the robot’s Control Panel to adjust the “hour.” Press to confirm the hour and “minute” number will blink. Press to adjust “minute,” and press to confirm
For example: Schedule DEEBOT 7 to clean at “09:00.” DEEBOT 7 automatically cleans at 09:00am every day.

(2) Set the Current Time of Day
After confirming the cleaning time, disappears and the “hour” number blinks, indicating the need to set the current time of day.
Set the current time of day, adjusting the hours and minutes using the same method as described in Schedule the Cleaning Time above.

(3) Set Cleaning Frequency/ Cancel Scheduled Cleaning Time

Set the cleaning frequency by pressing on DEEBOT 7’s Control Panel until the desired icon appears.

3.5 Status Indicator Icons

If DEEBOT 7 detects a problem, it emits a beep, the Status Light Indicators flash orange, and the corresponding indicator appears on the Control Panel Screen.

3.6 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

DEEBOT 7 has a detachable Handheld Vacuum Cleaner with attachments to clean more than just the floor.

(1) Assemble the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Press the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Release Button on the back of the Charging Dock and remove the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner by pulling straight up.

Connect the Handheld Assembly to the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner. Make sure the power slot is aligned correctly.

Twist the hook to release the power cord quickly. Attach the Hose to the Handheld Assembly. Insert the Hose and twist to lock.

• The Telescopic Wand can be attached to add variable length.
• Push the adjustment button of Telescopic Wand and adjust the length of the wand to meet your needs. Release the button to lock the length.

Attach interchangeable accessories to the Hose or to the Telescopic Wand for specific cleaning needs.

Usage
Cleans soft surfaces, such as sofas, cushions, curtains etc.
Cleans small crevices, corners, baseboards etc.
Clean surfaces like cabinets, walls, ceilings and doors.

Attach the Shoulder Strap to the Shoulder Strap Hooks, and adjust it according to personal need for easy carrying.

(2) Turn ON and Turn OFF

Press the ON/OFF button on the side of the Handheld Assembly to start or stop the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner.

4. Maintenance

Before performing cleaning and maintenance on DEEBOT 7, move the Bottom Power Switch to the OFF position and unplug the Charging Dock.

4.1 Dust Bin and Filters

• DEEBOT 7’s Automatic Emptying process automatically removes the majority of dust and debris from the robot’s Dust Bin. However moist contents or heavy particles may stay in the Dust Bin and it may need to be cleaned periodically.

Open DEEBOT 7’s Top Cover and remove the Dust Bin. Open the Dust Bin Cover and empty the Dust Bin.

Remove the filters. Pat the High Efficiency Filter clean. Do not rinse the High Efficiency Filter under water.

Rinse the Dust Bin, Sponge Filter and Filter Net under running water.

Dry the Dust Bin and filter components completely before reinstalling.

4.2 Main Brush and Side Brushes

• A Multi-Function Cleaning Tool is provided for easy maintenance. Handle with care, this cleaning tool has sharp edges.

(1) Cleaning the Main Brush
Unscrew the Main Brush Screw and remove the Main Brush. Use the Multi-Function Cleaning Tool to cut off and remove any hair tangled around the Main Brush.

(2) Cleaning the Side Brushes
Remove the Side Brushes. Wipe the Side Brushes and their slots with a dry cloth.

4.3 Other Components

Clean the Universal Wheel by removing any hair tangled around it.

Wipe the Anti-Drop Sensors with the brush or the felt side of the Multi- Function Cleaning Tool to maintain their effectiveness.

Wipe the Dust Sensors with the brush or the felt side of the Multi-Function Cleaning Tool to maintain their effectiveness.

Wipe the Charging Contacts and Charging Dock Pins clean with a dry cloth.

4.4 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

• Please empty the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner regularly and always before the dust reaches the MAX line for optimal vacuum performance.

(1) Remove the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
Press the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner Release button on the back of the Charging Dock and remove the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner by pulling straight up.

Twist the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner top cover until ↓ lines up with the 6 on the clear dust container. Remove the top cover and Cyclone Filter.

(2) Cleaning the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

Empty the dust in the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner’s Clear Dust Container. If necessary, the Clear Dust Container can be rinsed with water as long as the bottom portion of the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner with the motor is removed. The bottom portion with the motor can be cleaned by wiping it with a dry cloth.

(3) Cleaning the Filter
Press the button on the top cover of the Handheld Vacuum Cleaner to open and remove the filter.

Rinse the filter under running water and dry it completely before reinstalling.

• Do not use a brush to clean to avoid damage.
• The filter may change color over time, but will not attest its performance.

Please use this chart to troubleshoot common problems using DEEBOT 7.
