NOTE : Ensure the pump body is fully submerged in water never allow the water level to drop below pump intake.

Maintenance & Cleaning

The Simple Deluxe submersible pumps do not require lubrication or special maintenance. The following maintenance and cleaning will improve the pump’s performance and life.
CLEANING: When the flow is visibly reduced you may want to clean the pump. Unplug the pump’s power cord first, then remove the pump from the water (Do NOT use the cord to lift the pump). Remove the back cover and the impeller. Use a small brush and tap water to remove any debris and build-up.
WARNING: Always disconnect from the electrical outlet before handling the pump.

CLEANING INSTRUCTION
STEP1:
Unplug the pump’s power cord. STEP2:
Remove the pump from the water (Do NOT use the cord to lift the pump).

STEP3:
Disassemble the pump as shown. STEP4:
Clean front cover, pre-filter, and impeller in clean water. Do not use detergents.

CAUTION
Electrical Warning: Risk of electric shock
1)This Simple Deluxe pump has not been evaluated for use in swimming pools or marine areas.

To reduce the risk of electric shock

install only on a circuit protected by a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI).
See the User Guide section for proper installation

Warning:

Keep children away from this appliance and do not let them play with the product
DO NOT operate the unit if people are in the water.
A high-voltage connector is in the unit. Be sure to turn off the main power supply prior to cleaning
or performing any maintenance on the unit.
Never cut the power plug and replace it yourself. This may lead to serious injury or death.
Never open the pump housing or its components unless specified in this User Guide.
Unplug the unit from the power source immediately if it shows any sign of abnormal water leakage.
This appliance should not be used if the plug or receptacle is wet.
Do not operate if the power supply cord, plug or any other parts are damaged.
Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children. This appliance is not a toy. Keep away from children.
To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts
Never yank on the cord to pull the plug from the outlet.
Do not use this pump for other than intended use. The use of certain attachments not recommended or sold by Simple Deluxe may cause unsafe conditions and void product warranty.
Make sure the pump is mounted securely to the tank, reservoir or pond.
THIS APPLIANCE HAS LIMITED USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS The following restrictions apply to this unit:
•NEVER use this unit to pump fluids other than water
• NEVER run this unit without water.
• DO NOT use for commercial or industrial purposes
• DO NOT use in conjunction with chemicals, foodstuffs, easily flammable or explosive substances.

USAGE CAUTIONS;
A. Before operating pump:

Check that the power voltage and frequency conform to the power ratings on the nameplate.
Don’t lift, lower or carry the pump by the power cable.
Always unplug the pump when not in use. Do not place hands in water where the pump is installed or before performing any maintenance and cleaning.
Do not add any lubricants to the pump.
Do not operate the Simple Deluxe pump without water as this will cause severe damage.
This Simple Deluxe pump is not self-priming. Make sure the water lines and pump(s) are filled with water prior to turning on.
Do not install or store the Simple Deluxe pump where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below freezing.
Do not operate the pump in water temperatures higher than 95° F.

B. The Simple Deluxe pump should not be used if:

Do not operate the pump if the power supply cord, plug, or any other parts have any damage
If cord is damaged, the pump should not be used and disposed of properly
Pump has a wet plug or a wet receptacle.
Water discharge from the pump is reduced
Apart is broken and water leaks in.
Anything abnormal occurs.

C. During Simple Deluxe pump operation:

Shut off the power immediately to prevent the motor from burning out when overloaded due to clogging
from foreign materials
Please consult Simple Deluxe if the pump is not working properly. DO NOT disassemble or assemble the pump, as this may result in severe damage.

DRIP LOOP;
ALWAYS SET UP A DRIP LOOP
Ensure that the electrical cord loops below the electrical outlet to form a Drip Loop” This will prevent water from running down the cord into the electrical outlet.
