Dimensions

1. Safetey string has to be mounted for this luminaire.
2. Safety string is not provided by Signify, need to be prepared by user.
3. Material spec of safety string should be robust and not less than SUS304 Ø3.

DisAclaimer:

1. In these plots, the white areas are blind spots and the detection is based on subject’s motion. An idle subject may not continue to trigger occupancy detection once the hold time expires.
2. As PIR based sensing works on temperature difference between the subject and the ground level, the occupancy detection could vary due to clothing and size of subject.

Warning: Place heat radiating devices outside of the monitoring cone. Avoid drafts (e.g. from ventilators or heating systems).

Light sensor:
The light sensor measures the total amount of light with an opening angle of 10° whereas PIR has 55°, all calculated from normal. The following aspects should be observed during installation: Minimum distance from the window ‐ refer below graph

Prevent light reflections from outside entering the sensor (for example sunlight reflection from a car/truck bonnet) as this will lead to incorrect light regulation.
As a guideline the formula 0.174 x H can be used to calculate the minimum distance between the window and sensor whereby H is the height from the top of the window to the ceiling.

1. Please read this manual carefully before installation or using the product.
2. The Luminaire or its driver, LED board and power cable should be installed, repaired or replaced by a qualified electrician, manufacturer or his service agent.
3. Wiring in accordance with the latest IEE electrical regulations or the national requirements.
4. Turn off the power supply before checking, installation or moving.
5. Before using, external earthing is must required. Earthing is also must required in its whole life.
6. The connection of power cable on luminaire is type Y.
7. The luminaire should be replaced immediately if any crack or deterioration.

9. The Luminaire must be used within the applicable product specifications, installation instructions and environmental conditions for storage & operations according to application guidelines provided by Philips for product Warranty to be valid.
10. The corrosive atmosphere or hazardous materials such as sulfur, chlorine, phthalate,ethylamine, tetrachloroethylene, etc must be avoided during the use and storage.
11. The manufacturer will not take responsibility caused by improper use or self modifications of the product.
12. Do not use acid or alkaline cleaner to clean this luminaire.
13. Indoor use only.
14. Luminaire don’t have any evaluation on additional protection measures to prevent luminaire from high-altitude falling and windproof structure, can’t be used as flood and tunnel luminaire.
15. Not suitable for use in harsh vibration and often causing vibration or swinging enviroment. Also not suitable for area prone to hurricane and extreme winds.
16. In order to keep brightness of luminarie, Suggest clean the luminaire regularly (recommended twice a year). Please only use soft cloth to wipe the luminarie when it is cleaning.
17. The sensor should be installed far away from the door or window where there is wind speed and convection, otherwise there will be frequent and accidental triggering.
18. The recommended height to place the sensor in the ceiling is 6~10 meters to assure movement coverage and detection.
19. Sensor away from signal devices such as routers (Zigbee, WIFI, etc.).
20. For use in environments where an accumulation of conductive dust on the luminaire may be expected.
