Use
- Place the waffle maker on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Plug the power cord into a wall socket. The red light turns on when the power is activated. Keep the lid closed.
- Choose your preferred output with the knob. The green light will turn on.
- The heating process takes around 5 minutes. When the preferred temperature is reached the green light will turn off.
- Coat the surface with butter and pour the batter in the middle of the iron, spread it out with a spatula. Close the lid. The green light periodically turns on and off as the temperature varies.
- After about 3-5 minutes, the waffles are ready to eat.
- Use plastic spatulas to remove the waffles, never use metal tongs or knifes.
Cleaning
Unplug the power cable and make sure the waffle maker has cooled down completely before cleaning it. Wipe the plates with a damp cloth and some soap. Do not hold it under running water or immerse it in water or other liquids. Never use steel wool or abrasive cleanser as it will damage and/or remove the non-stick coating. The outside of the maker can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
Safety information
If the power cable gets damaged in any way it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified technician to avoid potential hazards. Make sure the cable doesn’t come in contact with the hot surfaces of the waffle maker. Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull the cord to disconnect the waffle maker. Always disconnect the power cable when the waffle maker is not in use or before cleaning it. Keep the device away from open flames or hot areas. Do not immerse any part of the waffle maker in water or other liquids. The waffle maker can be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. The waffle maker shall not be used by children, keep it and the power cable out of reach for children. The waffle maker is for household use only. Do not leave the waffle maker while it’s active without supervision. Do not place the waffle maker near curtains of flammable material as it may burn them. Do not touch the hot surface or cover the waffle maker while it is in use. The waffle maker is not meant to be operated by external timers or remotely controlled systems.
