Use
Installation of the vacuum cleaner
Connects the extension hose (5) by inserting it into the opening of the
vacuum cleaner. Connect the tube (4) to the handgrip on the hose. Adjust
the combination nozzle to the type of floor to be cleaned (carpets or hard
floors).
When the vacuum cleaner is installed, connect the power cord. Pull out the
power cord up to the yellow mark, but no longer than the red mark. Switch the
appliance on and adjust the suction power to start cleaning.
Remember to lift the appliance by the handle (1) and not by the hose.
To disconnect the extension hose, press the buttons on both sides of the hose
and pull it out.
Storage
When done cleaning, switch the power off and disconnect the power cord. Rewind
the cord by pressing the button for the cord winder (3) Attach the tube to
the vacuum cleaner.
Insufficient suction power
If experiencing insufficient suction power, please check:
- If the bucket is full.
- If the nozzle, tube, or hose are blocked:
To unblock the tube or hose, let the airflow through the hose and/or tube in the opposite direction.
Cleaning the dust container
Empty the dust container by opening the lid while holding it over a bin. Shake
the container to make sure that the container is empty from dust. Close the
lid and reinsert to the vacuum cleaner.
Replacing the exhaust air liter
- Remove the holder.
- Insert the bottom edge of the new filter properly into the ridges of the holder. Make sure that it fits completely before trying to close the holder.
- Close the holder by pressing it gently.
Safety instructions
This appliance is intended for normal household use.
Check if the HEM filter has been inserted correctly before you use the
appliance for the first time.
Never suck up water or arty other liquid. Never suck up warm ashes.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner to suck up inflammable and glass or metal
splinters. Do not suck up plastics, cement, stone dust, or flour.
Sucking up fine dust may cause the pores of the HEPA filter to become clogged.
This will obstruct the passage of air through the filter. If this happens, the
HEPA filter will have to be replaced.
To avoid damage, never use the vacuum cleaner without the motor protection
filter.
The appliance may only be repaired by the maintenance center. Never dismantle
it by yourself.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
The power cord must be disconnected before cleaning or maintaining the
appliance.
