USING THE HEADPHONES

Thank you for purchasing the NU DUBSTEP Bluetooth headphones. This guide is provided to help you get started quickly with your wireless stereo headphones: please read it carefully and save it for future reference.

• USB charging cable
• In-line cable

CHARGING THE BATTERY

Although the battery is partially charged initially, we recommend you fully charge the battery before first use. Allow about 4 hours to fully charge for first-time use.

• Plug the Micro USB end of the included USB cable into the USB micro port charger connector under the right earcup Of the headphones.
• Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer or other devices made for USB charging.
• Allow about 2-3 hours for a full charge. The indicator light will be red while charging. Once fully charged, the indicator light turns blue.

Note: Don’t use your headphones while charging to avoid any damage.

PAIRING

To use your NU DUBSTEP Bluetooth headphones with a Bluetooth device (such as a smartphone, computer or tablet), first establish a wireless connection between the headphones and the device.

1. Activate the Bluetooth feature function on your Mobile Phone to begin setup.
2. The “Search new device” screen will be displayed.
3. Place both devices not more than 3 feet away from each other.
4. Press and CONTINUE to HOLD the S2 Key until the red and blue led indicator starts blinking alternately, this indicates that the headset has entered pairing mode and makes a sound of “bi, bi”.
5. As soon as the system detects the new device in your dialog box, select the icon that reads “NU Dubstep” the headset,
6. The software may activate the passkey window and ask you to enter the PIN code (4 zeros), Otherwise, the wireless connection will be established automatically with the remote device.
7. If the pairing is successful, the Blue LED will start blinking slowly. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails. please repeat steps I through 6 described above.
8. The headset will go automatically into standby mode after a short period of inactivity.
9. The headset will automatically shut down if it cannot find the paired device in 3 minutes.

CALLS

When the Bluetooth headset is paired and connected with your mobile phone, you can use the headset to answer the phone or listen to music.
Short press S4 key to answering the call or long-press S4 key to refuse the call.
During the call, short press S4 to hang up and music will start playing if it was playing.

POWER ON/OFF

Press S2 key to power on, red and blue light will flash simultaneously, then red light flashes and enters automatic pairing mode. Blue light flashes for successful connection.
Double press S4 key to re-enter pairing mode.
Press S2 for 3 seconds, the red blue indicator flashes quickly and the headset is power-off.

WIRELESS MUSIC PLAYING

Paired mobile shall support Bluetooth A2DP.

1. Short Press S1 to jump to the next song.
2. Short Press S3 to jump to the previous song.
3. Press S4 to play or pause music.
4. Long press S1 to increase the volume.
5. Long press S3 to decrease the volume.

LOW VOLTAGE AUTOMATIC DETECTION AND POWER OFF

When the machine voltage is less than 3.3V, the red light will flash and the headset will make a continuous sound. When the voltage is less than 3 V, the headset will automatically power off. Please recharge in time.

BATTERY INDICATION

Paired with ‘Phone mobile, it will have headset battery power indication.

PREVENTING DAMAGE TO HEALTH & ACCIDENTS

• Protect your hearing from high volume levels. Permanent hearing damage may occur when headphones are used at high volume for prolonged periods of time.
• Don’t use headphones while charging. -Don’t allow children or infirm to play with your headphone without adult supervision.
• Don’t use the product in an environment that requires special attention (e.g. in traffic)

PREVENTING DAMAGE TO PRODUCT

• Don’t use headphones near water. Clean using a dry or slightly moist cloth.
• Don’t use in extremely dry environments as it leads to static discharge during usage.
• Don’t expose your headphone to temperatures above 40 degrees. Keep out of direct sunlight.
• Don’t attempt to repair the product yourself. It will void the product warranty.
• Don’t drop, puncture or expose your headphones to excessive trauma.
• Always press all buttons carefully. Don’t mishandle your headphones.
• Don’t place near objects generating a strong magnetic field.
• Use only the supplied charging cable. Unplug the device when not in use or during a lightning storm.
• Don’t expose headphones to excessive heat or fire.

INTENDED USE/LIABILITY

Nu Republic does not accept liability for damage arising from improper use or misuse of this product and it’s attached accessories.

Nu Republic warrants that the product at the time of its original purchase is free Of defects in material and workmanship.

This Warranty is subject to following terms

1. The warranty is given only to the original purchaser Of the product (“customer”)
2. The warranty will be applicable for 1 2 months from the date of original purchase or 8 months from date of import as mentioned in the import sticker on the box whichever is earlier The customer has to present PROOF of PURCHASE/Invoice for claiming any warranty
3. For entire Warranty Period, Nu Republic or its authorized representative wil at their discretion repair or replace
4. The details of the service locations can be taken from our service helpline, It is the responsibility Of the Customer to bring the product to the Nu Repubhc Service Location at his/her own risk and expenses
5. For any product repaired or replaced during the warranty period, the repaired or replaced product shall counter to be within a period of the original product

The warranty  will not be applicable under the following circumstances

1. The product code/serial number water indicator or warranty seal has been removed, erased defaced altered, or is illegible
2. Deterioration of the product due to normal wear and tear
3. Use other than in accordance with the user manual rough handling. ingression of /exposure to any kind of liquid(water, sweat, beverages, oils, etc.) exposure to moisture, dampness or exposure to extreme environmental conditions corrosion,
4. The warranty will also not cover any physical damage to the surface of the product including but not limited to scratches on the body parts
5. As defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short-circuited or by the fact that the seals of the casing or any evidence of tampering or the product is used for equipment other than for which it is certified.

ANY CLAIM UNDER THE WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO NOTIFICATION TO NU REPUBLIC FOR THE ALLEGED DEFECT WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME OF IT OCCURRENCE AND IN NO EVENT NOT LATER THAN EXPIRY OF WARRANTY PERIOD

NU REPUBLIC / AUTHORIZED PARTNER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF LOSSES DIRECT OR INDIRECT RESULTING DUE TO ANY LOSS OF CUSTOMER DUE TO NON FUNCTIONING

NU REPUBLIC’S OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR PROVIDING REPLACEMENT OF PARTS ONLY THE MAXIMUM CLAIM ENTERTAINED BY NU REPUBLIC WILL BE SUBJECT TO MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR PURCHASE PRICE (AS PER INVOICE) WHICHEVER ONE IS LOWER

In event of any unforeseen circumstances, there is the unavailability of certain spare parts, prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs
