What’s in the Box
Your Nu Republic Hype Smartwatch comes in a premium gift box comprising the Nu
Republic Smartwatch, Charging Wire, and User Manual
How to Wear Your Nu Republic Smartwatch
Take the Nu Republic Smartwatch out of the box, remove the protective casing,
and wear it around your wrist. Adjust to the size of the wrist with
adjustment, Buckle the wrist & strap buckle.
Ensure that the sensor should be close to your skin to gather all data.
Charging the Nu Republic Smartwatch
Before wearing the Nu Republic Smartwatch for the first time ensure that the
battery is fully charged.
If the watch does not power on, please connect the charger to charge the
device. Use the charging cable provided with the watch to charge. On a full
charge, this Nu Republic Hype Smartwatch can last up to 10 days.
Note:
The battery life and time to fully charge your device may vary as per usage
and other factors Plug the USB Cable into an Adaptor. Plug the power adaptor
into an electrical socket.
Place the magnetic charger on the magnetic charging points of the watch.
While your watch is charging the screen will show time, day, battery
percentage, and progress.
Once the battery is fully charged remove it from the charging dock.
Warning
Do not use a Charger more than 10W while charging. Please do not use the watch
while charging. Do not leave the charger on overnight. This will deteriorate
the battery and
make this smartwatch unusable. Power On

Waking Up the Watch
To preserve the battery, the watch screen turns off when not in use. To turn
the screen back on you can wake up the watch by pressing the side button
Install the Companion App on your smartphone.
Scan the QR code or go to the App Store, app download, and install the app.

FitPro app is a lightweight app that supports a variety of wearables, from
fitness trackers to Nu Republic Smartwatches. Checking out the app, the FitPro
app provides details on activity tracking, which includes steps, with target
goal, distance, and consumption. It provides health ratings, such as body
index, as well as body fat rate. For your health, details included are heart
rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen monitoring.
Device Connection & Set Up
Download the app from Google Play or iOS App Store. You can search the keyword
“FitPro” or scan the QR code available in the support app or in the wearable
itself.
Note: The QR code in the wearable is usually available in the settings of
the device.
Activate the Bluetooth connection of your smartphone
Open the App. When you open the app, the FitPro app will ask for several
permissions. Below are some of the permissions being asked for by the support
app.
Please take note that you can deny some of the

permissions if you think that you don’t need the feature or are not
comfortable with the permission. But of course, some functions may not work,
if you disallow the permissions.
Once the App is downloaded, please log in to the app, in Sub Menu – “Profile”
register yourself and set up your profile if required. The app is simple
enough and you will find it easy to navigate through the process.
Please Note: There are 2 levels of pairings – First by downloading and
connecting to the App and Second by searching for Bluetooth and connecting the
Nu Republic Smartwatch to Bluetooth Pairing Name: FitPro
- On the App, tap the “Set” menu & select “Bind devices to experience more features”.
- The Nu Republic Smartwatch will scan for your devices.
- The support app will try to initiate several sequences such as “Bluetooth base connection”, ”Time setting”, ”User Profile”, and “Target Setting”.
- Once it’s done, you successfully connected your wearable to the FitPro app
- Open the Bluetooth pairing menu of the mobile phone Look for the pairing Name “FitPro” find & connect with the Nu Republic Smartwatch.
- After the connection is successful, you can dial/answer the phone and listen to music.
- Note: If the mobile phone system Bluetooth can’t search the FitPro device all the time, please enter the dual mode menu on the Nu Republic Smart watch and set it to on.
- Note: You can’t make a call without connecting the Nu Republic Smartwatch to your phone, but can use some other features of the watch.
- The FitPro app will automatically save the Bluetooth address of the Nu Republic Smartwatch, and the app will open and run in the background, and will automatically search and connect the bracelet.
- To ensure your Nu Republic Smartwatch operates effectively, you will need to allow all permissions related to the FitPro app on your smartphone for Notification, contact information, and running the application in the background.
Initial Setup to Receive Smart Notifications

In the support app Go to “Messaging Push”.

Toggle the switch button for calls and SMS reminders as well as other social apps that you want to receive messages.

Note: The app again will ask for the following permissions.

There are other features in the FitPro App, and it’s up to you to activate them based on your preferences.

Standout Functions & Features
Steps and Distance
a number of steps: Wear the bracelet and record the number of daily
movement steps to view the current real-time steps.
Distance: The distance of motion is estimated based on the number of walking
steps.
Calories: Estimate the calories burned based on the number of walking steps
Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Blood Oxygen (SPO2)
The Nu Republic Smartwatch displays the current heart rate, blood pressure,
and blood oxygen test results are displayed. This feature requires a wrist
band to support heart rate and blood pressure sensors.
Note: These health parameters are indicative for reference purposes only.
Should not be used to determine the user’s health. Please use proper equipment
under the guidance of your doctor to ascertain and track these parameters.
Telephone Book
You can add 10 common contacts to your phone.
After the successful connection between the bracelet and app Bluetooth, the
contacts can be synchronized to the bracelet phone book and displayed. Click
the contacts to make a call Note: the phone also needs to be connected to the
FitPro device).
Music Control and Playback
Let’s say you are using a neckband with your phone and listening to music. Now
you can use your Nu Republic Smartwatch to control music, switch between
songs, and pause / start playing.
Note: to enable this function, you need to go to Smartphone/Bluetooth
Menu/FitPro/ Check profile /Service /Allow Call and Media Audio.
Exercise Modes
Running Mode: The calories and duration of running consumption can be
recorded under this interface;
Sit-up Mode: This interface can record the calories and duration consumed
by sit-ups;
Jumping Jack Mode: The calories and duration of movement consumption can
be recorded under this interface.
Table tennis Mode: The calories and duration of movement consumption can
be recorded under this interface.
Basketball Mode: The calories and duration of movement consumption can be
recorded under this interface.
Badminton Mode: The calories and duration of movement consumption can be
recorded under this interface.
Cycling Mode: The calories and duration of movement consumption can be
recorded under this interface.
Tennis Mode: The calories and duration of movement consumption can be
recorded under this interface.
Sleep Mode
When you fall asleep, the Nu Republic Smartwatch will automatically enter the
sleep monitoring mode; automatically detect your deep sleep / light sleep/wake
up all night, and calculate your sleep quality; the wristband only shows the
total length of deep sleep / light sleep/sleep, app end can view sleep data
details.
Note: Sleep data will be available when you wear your wristband and sleep
will be detected from 10:00 pm. Sleeping data for 3/4 hours can be
synchronized to the app while sleeping.
Information Mode
When the bracelet pushes multiple reminder messages, enter this interface to
view the last 3message records.
Stopwatch Function
Enter the stopwatch and click the start button to start timing, click the
pause button to stop, and click the reset button to clear the timing.
Other Functions:
Turn on the vibration setting function, when there are calls, messages, or
other reminders, the bracelet will vibrate.
Alarm Setting
In the connected state, 8 alarms can be set. After setting, it will be
synchronized to the bracelet; an offline alarm is supported. After the
synchronization is successful, even if the app is not connected, the bracelet
will be reminded according to the set time.
Looking for Nu Republic Smartwatch
In the connected state, click the “Look for the Nu Republic Smartwatch” option
and the bracelet will vibrate.
Remote Photography
In the connected state, start the photo from the wristband or the app to enter
the remote camera interface, shake/turn the wrist/touch the Nu Republic
Smartwatch, and automatically take a photo after 3 seconds of counting down.
Please allow the app to access the photo album to save the self-portrait
photo.
Sedentary Reminder
Set whether to enable the sedentary reminder function, you can set the
reminder interval, if you sit for a long time in the set time, the bracelet
will remind you.
Device Reset
Setting this feature reset will erase all data in the bracelet (such as step
counting).
Remove Device
This feature will erase data and remove the device.

TroubleShooting FitPro App
FitPro app Cannot Find the Device
Make sure your Bluetooth is activated (Smartphone and Nu Republic Smartwatch
if there is an option) Check if the Nu Republic Smartwatch or Smartband is
powered on.
Manually select the Nu Republic Smartwatch or Smartband in the Bluetooth
settings of the smartphone
The Nu Republic Smartwatch Keeps on Disconnecting on the App?
Install the correct/updated version of the app See the recommended/supported
version of the smartphone and the Nu Republic Smartwatch Restart your phone
and your Nu Republic Smartwatch
FitPro app becomes unstable after the recent update
This usually happens when the support app is upgraded to the latest version,
and the old device did not receive any updates on its firmware to be
compatible with the latest app update.
If this happens to your device, uninstall the app and download the lower
version of the FitPro app.
My Nu Republic Smartwatch is not receiving any notifications, like calls
and messages
Please check the permission on the support app, go to “Message Push” and
switch the call and SMS permissions.
Check the FitPro permissions on the app permission settings of the smartphone,
and allow the FitPro app to run in the background and receive notifications.
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDERSTANDING THE WARRANTY
- Nu Republic thanks you for showing confidence in our products and becoming our valued customers.
- To ensure a delightful product experience Nu Republic recommends reading the User Manual carefully and contacting our customer care helpline to understand the product warranty period and conditions.
- The Nu Republic warrants that the product at the time of its original purchase free of defects in material and workmanship.
This Warranty is subject to the following terms:
- The warranty is given only to original purchaser of the product
- The warranty will be applicable for 6 months from the date of original purchase or 12 months from date of import as mentioned in the import sticker on the box whichever is earlier.
- The customer has to present PROOF of PURCHASE/invoice for claiming any warranty.
- For the entire Warranty Period, Nu Republic or its authorized representative will at their discretion repair or replace defective product. Repair or replacement may involve the use of the same or equivalent reconditioned unit.
- Nu Republic will return the repaired product or can replace it with another same or equivalent product to the customer in full working condition. All replaced & faulty parts or components with become the property of Nu Republic.
- The details of the service locations can be taken from our service helpline, It is the responsibility of the Customer to bring the product to the Nu Republic Service Location at his/her own risk and expenses.
- For any product repaired or replaced during the warranty period, the repaired or replaced product shall continue to be within a period of the original product.

- In case a service center is not available at the customer’s location, the customer will have to courier the product to the nearest Alchemie Service Center at his own cost.
- One way courier cost from Customer end to Service centers would be borne by Customer & Alchemie will bear the return courier/ shipment delivery cost from Service center to Customers across all regions.
Who Pays for What
- Alchemie will pay all labor and material expenses for all repairs covered by the warranty.
- The customer is responsible for transporting the product for repair or arranging for its transportation and for payment of any initial shipping charges.
- Alchemie will pay the return shipping charges if repairs are covered by the warranty.
The warranty will not be applicable under the following circumstances
The product code/serial number water indicator or The warranty seal has been
removed, erased defaced altered, or illegible.
Deterioration of the product due to normal wear and tear.
Use other than in accordance with the user manual rough handling. ingression
of /exposure to any kind of liquid(water, sweat, beverages, oils, etc.)
exposure to moisture, dampness, or exposure to extreme environmental
conditions corrosion, unauthorized repairs, unauthorized spare parts usage
accidents, forces of nature, or other actions beyond the reasonable control of
Nu Republic unless the defect was caused directly by defects in material or
workmanship.
The warranty will also not cover any physical damage to the surface of the
product but is not limited to scratches on the body parts.
As defects caused by the fact that the battery has been short-circuited or by
the fact that the seals of the casing or any evidence of tampering or the
product are used for equipment other than that for which it is certified.
INTENDED USE / LIABILITY – Nu Republic does not accept any liability from any
damage arising out of misuse of the product as prescribed by this User Manual.
Process To be Followed to Claim Warranty
The customer will raise an escalation by mailing

The customer will ship the product,
the accessories, the original box, and the original sales invoice.
The After Sales Service Center will receive the product and check the product
for any abuse, damage, scratches, breakages wear, and tear Once approved, the
Authorized Service Centre will send a repaired/ replacement product Free of
Cost to the customer.
In absence of the same product, a similar product of better value may be
offered to the customer.
General Terms
ANY CLAIM UNDER THE WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO NOTIFICATION TO NU REPUBLIC FOR THE
ALLEGED DEFECT WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME OF ITS OCCURRENCE AND IN NO EVENT NOT
LATER THAN THE EXPIRY OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD. NU REPUBLIC / AUTHORIZED PARTNER
WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF LOSSES DIRECT OR INDIRECT RESULTING
DUE TO ANY LOSS OF CUSTOMERS DUE TO NON-FUNCTIONING.
NU REPUBLIC’S OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED TO REPAIR OR
PROVIDING REPLACEMENT OF PARTS ONLY THE MAXIMUM CLAIM ENTERTAINED BY NU
REPUBLIC WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR
PURCHASE PRICE
(AS PER INVOICE) WHICHEVER ONE IS LOWER.
In event of any unforeseen circumstances, there is the unavailability of
certain spare parts, prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the
purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs
