Unplug vacuum

Recline handle to floor, turn machine over

Remove brush cover by taking out 5 screws
-
Remove brush & belt
- Inspect belt, brush & brush cover for damage
- If damaged, part should be replaced
-
Stand brush upright on hard surface and spin brush with one hand holding the top
- It should spin freely several times
- If brush doesn’t spin freely, it should be replaced
-
Inspect brush endcaps for damage/ware/debris
- If damaged, brush should be replaced
- Remove all debris from brush and endcaps
-
Install belt and brush into machine
-
Rotate brush several times to align belt
-
Replace brush cover and screws
-
If all steps have been followed and brush still does not turn, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
