TOOLS NEEDED
PARTS
ASSEMBLY
1. Slide tongues of bottom shelf (I) into back panel (K). (See Figure 1)
2. Turn cart on side, install four screws through each swivel caster (B) into bottom of back panel (K) and up into bottom shelf (I) as shown. (See Figure 2)
3. Place handle (G) on top of back panel (K) so that the screw holes on handle tabs line up with holes on back panel (K). Install screws. (See Figure 3)
4. Insert tongues on one end of top shelf (H) into slots on back panel as shown. Install 2 screws on each side as shown. (See Figure 4)
5. Install additional four screws through four tab holes which are near the four screws just attached. (See Figure 5)
6. Stand cart up.
7. Place the two top gates (D) onto the top shelf (H) so that gate is in
upright position and smooth side of gate faces interior of cart. When placed
correctly, the hook on the cart handle fits through the hole in gate; the gate
rests on the support molded into the top shelf. (See Figure 6)
8. Repeat this process for two bottom gates (E). Leave all gates in the
upright position for the rest of the assembly process. (See Figure 6)
9. Attach front gate (F) to front panel (J) by sliding 2 hinges on front panel into front gate as shown. Leave front gate in down position, with the smooth side up, and resting on top of the front panel. (See Figure 7)
10. Attach front panel (J) to bottom shelf (I) by sliding shelf tongues into slots on front panel (J). Be sure to place top and bottom gate tabs into holes on front panel. Attach fixed casters (C) to bottom tabs of front panel and up into bottom shelf (I). (See Figure 8)
NOTE: Mobile Workstation may be assembled with or without storage bins
a. If using WITHOUT storage bins, proceed to Step 11.
b. If using WITH storage bins, proceed directly to Step 12.
11. ONLY IF NOT USING BINS: Secure top shelf (H) to front panel (J) from
underneath with 4 screws. (See Figure 9)
12. Pull the top of front panel (J) no more than 2 inches away from top shelf (H). (See Figure 10)
13. Install first rail (L) by placing one end in the bottom slot of inside
back panel (K) as shown. Make certain the rail is positioned open-side up.
(See Figure 11)
14. Push the front panel back towards the top shelf just enough so that the
rail is held in place in between the front and back panels.
NOTE: Make certain rail is held in slots on both sides before proceeding.
15. Install remaining 8 rails in this same manner.
16. Beginning with the bottom rail, slowly move front panel (J) back into
position, making sure each rail secures properly into slots on both panels.
17. If a rail falls out of position, simply place it back into its slot and
continue.
18. When all 9 rails are properly positioned, attach front panel (J) back to
top shelf (H). Secure with 4 screws. Rail kit installation is complete and
your Mobile Workstation is ready to use. (See Figure 12)
- You may need to alternately pull the front panel away from and push it towards the back panel to hold each successive rail in place.
See chart on next page for information on bin configurations.
