IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY WARNINGS AND THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Warnings

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments;
– farmhouses;
– by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments. -
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
Safety Information
• To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the
appliance or its cord in water or any other liquid.
• Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning. To unplug,
grasp plug, and pull from the mains socket. Never pull a cord.
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer
may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let the power cord touch hot surfaces or hang over the edge of the
table or counter where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• Do not operate the hand mixer with wet hands.
• Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from
the beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or
damaged to the mixer.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your hand mixer for the first time, wash the dough hooks and
beaters in warm soapy water rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the outer surface
of the mixer body with a damp cloth.
OPERATION
Fitting the beaters
You can use the beaters for whipping egg white and cream, making cakes, and
mixing batters.
Insert the beaters into the attachment holes on the mixer until they click
into place.
Fitting the dough hooks
You can use the dough hooks for heavier mixes such as pastry and kneading
dough, also mashed potatoes.
Using your hand mixer
- Ensure that the speed selector is set to the “0” position.
- Plugin the appliance.
- Place the ingredients in a bowl.
- Lower the beaters or dough hooks into the ingredients.
- Switch the mixer on by turning the speed selector to the “1” position.
• Your appliance has 5 speeds ( 1: lowest speed, 5: Highest speed).
• Start slowly to prevent splashing and smoothly speed up till you reach your required speed.
• Turbo function: Press and hold the TURBO button to obtain maximum speed. Release the button and the appliance will return to the previously selected speed.
DO NOT operate for more than 5 minutes at one time. After 5 minutes of
continuous use, allow a few minutes rest before next use.
The Turbo button should only be pressed for a few seconds at a time.
You can use the following guide for attachment and speed selections.
NOTE: Start mixing at the lowest speed and gradually increase as needed.

Max Quantities:
To prolong the life of your hand mixer, it is recommended that the max
quantities in the table listed are not exceeded.
Quantities are a guide based on mixing in a large bowl.

6. When you have finished using the mixer, set the speed selector to the “0”
position.
7. Unplug the appliance from the mains socket.
8. To remove the beaters of dough hooks, press the EJECT button and lift the
attachments off the mixer body.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Clean the removable parts in warm soapy water with a soft brush or cloth then rinse them thoroughly.
- Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
Surfaces in contact with food should be cleaned regularly to avoid cross-
contamination from different types of food, the use of warm clean water with a
mild detergent is advisable when dealing with surfaces that come into contact
with food.
Correct food hygiene practices should always be followed at all times to avoid
the possibility of food poisoning /cross-contamination.
Dry the entire appliance with a dry cloth before replacing it.
Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasives products for cleaning.
Store the beaters and dough hooks in the storage holder.
