Installation
Please read the manual carefully before you begin the installation.
- Mount the contact above the door or window on the frame. For doors, ensure that the mounting is farthest from the hinged side of the door.
- Connect the two wires to the alarm control panel.
- Mount the magnet on the door/window so that it will face the contact. Be sure that the gap between the contact and magnet does not exceed 3/4″ (19mm) for the SM-200Q or 1/2″ (13mm) for the SM-300Q.
