introduction

The Walking aid is suitable for a single user with limited mobility. The Nitro Rollator is
ideal for indoor and outdoor use.

Nitro Rollator includes:

Position the Nitro Rollator on its wheels. Hold each hand grip and pull outward until the Nitro unlocks and opens fully (figures 1 & 2).

Press the red release buttons for handgrips below, as shown in figure 3, and pull the handgrip upwards at the same time. As the handle moves, release the button. This automatically locks in the next possible height. Repeat this process until the desired height is reached.

removing/attaching the carry bag

To remove the bag, twist knobs located on the front end of the seat frame outward (Figure 4 & 5). Pull knobs and slide bag out of the receptacle.
To replace the bag, fold the Nitro Rollator slightly and reverse the above steps.

Pull both brake levers upwards to apply the brakes while the Nitro Rollator is moving (see figure 6). Always brake slowly and steady.

Press both brake levers down to apply the locks while the Nitro Rollator is stationary (see figure 7). Pull up the brake levers and release them to release the locks.

The effect of the brakes can be affected by the abrasion of the wheels. Regularly test the brakes.

To adjust the braking strength, adjust the brake by pressing the screw housing downwards (figure 8) and then turn left or right (figure 9).

Position the Nitro Rollator on an even and solid surface. Lock the brakes (parking position). The Nitro Rollator must stand and must not slip. Sit straight up and do not lean backward. (See figure 10).

DO NOT MOVE THE ROLLATOR WHILE SEATED.

To fold, pull the seat upwards by the handle on the seat place as shown in figure 11. The Nitro Rollator can now be folded completely and secured by pushing the
handgrips together until an audible ‘click’ is heard. This is when the under- seat locking mechanism is engaged (figures 12 & 13).

  • Use only as a walking aid!
  • Use only on even and solid surfaces.
  • Maximum user weight: 300 lbs.
  • Regularly check the screws and fasteners on the Nitro Rollator and retighten if necessary.
  • Use bag only for the transport of objects and do not overload. Maximum load: 11 lbs.
  • Do not expose the product to temperatures above 104°F for an extended period of time, as this can cause the Nitro Rollator’s parts to overheat and burn the user.
  • Please make sure the Rollator is fully opened, the seat is down and the folding bar under the seat is locked in the down position.
  •  Be sure that both knobs are fully tightened and are at equal heights. Test Rollator for stability before applying full weight to hand grips.
  • Test the brake lever before operating the Rollator. When wheels are locked, the lock bar on the rear wheels should prevent wheels from turning. When locks are released, the wheels should turn freely.
  • Always lock the brake lever before sitting and do not use the seat when the unit is on an incline or uneven ground.
  • Replace tires when significantly worn or damaged.
  • DO NOT MOVE THE ROLLATOR WHILE SEATED. This is a walking aid only and is not to be used as a transportation device.

cleaning/maintenance

Clean regularly by hand with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive detergents.

Are Bigger wheels better on a rollator?

The wheel size matters
The performance of a rollator or walker relies heavily on the size of the wheels. The bigger the wheel, the easier it is to pass obstacles and uneven ground, and the comfort level also increases with the wheel size. A bigger wheel simply performs better than a small wheel, especially outdoors.

What is the maximum weight capacity for the Nitro Rollator?

300 lbs.

What is the minimum and maximum height adjustment for the Nitro Rollator?

The minimum height is 11.5″ and the maximum height is 17.5″.

What are the weight limits for the Nitro Rollator?

The weight limit for the seat is 136 kg (300 lbs).

How do I fold up my Nitro Rollator?

To fold, simply press the release button on either side of the frame near the seat. Then push down on both sides of the frame until it locks into place.

How do I adjust my seat height?

To adjust your seat height, press in on both red buttons located on either side of your seat frame. Then pull up or push down to your desired height.
