OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
-
Before starting, check the recommended inflation pressure for your vehicle’s tires. Manufacturer recommended pressures can be found on the inside of the driver’s door jam and owner’s manual. The tire’s maximum pressure can be located on the sidewall of the tire. Take care not to exceed any maximum tire ratings, doing so may cause damage to the tire, vehicle, and possibly bodily harm.
-
Thread the NPT Quick-Connect Fitting to the bottom of the inflator.
-
The quick-connect fitting will connect to an air hose coupling, allowing air to pass from an air compressor to the inflator.
-
Turn the inflator gauge on by pressing the On/Unit/Off Button, the screen will light up and display “0.00psi”. Press the On/Unit/Off Button again to select the unit you would like to measure (PSI, Bar, KPA, Kg/cm2).
-
- If you are operating in a dimly lit environment, press the Flashlight Button to brighten things up. Press the button again to turn it off.
Note: The flashlight can be used without turning the device on, just press the flashlight button independent of the On/Unit/Off button.
- If you are operating in a dimly lit environment, press the Flashlight Button to brighten things up. Press the button again to turn it off.
-
Locate the tire’s valve stem and remove the valve stem cap. Place the lock-on chuck onto the valve stem by pressing on the chuck’s trigger, firmly pressing the chuck straight onto the valve, and releasing the chuck’s trigger. The chuck should be firmly secured to the valve stem without needing to hold it.
-
Squeeze the Inflator’s trigger all the way down to begin inflating to your desired pressure.
Note: While inflating or deflating tires, the passing air and changing pressures will display a volatile pressure reading, this is not the exact tire pressure. To get an instantaneous and correct pressure reading, simply release the trigger and the tire’s pressure will be displayed. -
Release any excess air using the Valve Trigger. If the tire pressure is higher than desired, pull the air valve trigger only partially down to release air out of the tire. If your tire needs more air, simply repeat the steps above to increase the pressure
-
The Gauge can be manually turned off by holding the On/Unit/Off Button for more than three seconds. It will automatically shut off after use.
NOTE
- While inflating a tire, the pressure reading will not indicate the exact pressure of the tire.
- To check on the tire’s current pressure, release the Valve Trigger and the display will instantaneously show the tire’s
- The inflator gauge can be used to check tire pressure without connecting to an air compressor. Do not press the valve trigger when not connected to an air compressor. Doing so will release air from the tire.
- If air is leaking between the chuck and the tire’s valve stem, check that a strong seal was formed when placing the chuck onto the valve stem.
- The Gauge will automatically shut off after use. The Gauge can be manually turned off by holding the On/Unit/Off button down for more than three seconds.
- The rubber air hose improves articulation and reaches the angle, to ensure it is always easy to see the display.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Inaccurate Reading
| • Adjust the angle between the air chuck and the tire valve to ensure a
strong seal.
• Small differences within 2 PSI between gauges are normal.
• For large discrepancies, please contact us for help.
---|---
Air Leaking
| • It is normal for air to leak slightly when the chuck is connected and
removed from the tire valve.
• Check if there is a strong seal between the chuck and tire valve.
• Adjust the angle between the air chuck and tire valve.
• Check all the connection points of the Air Compressor, Inflator, Quick-
Connect Fitting, Air Chuck, and Tire Valve Stem. All connections should not
have a leak; Any threads may require Teflon tape for a complete seal.
• Contact us for help.
Automatically Turning off / LCD Displays “Er5”| • Contact us for replacement.
Slow Inflation
Slow Inflation| • It takes approximately 2 mins to inflate a normal car tire
from 0 to 35 PSI. If it takes longer to do so, please contact us.
Automatically Inflating after Connected| • Press the Valve Trigger several
times to allow any air pressure inside the inflator to escape.
